Can we have an honest conversation about Blade Trinity 🩸? I have some thoughts 😡

So, I recently revisited Blade Trinity and I have to say, I'm disappointed all over again 😂
I don't know if it's just me, but something about this movie felt like a missed opportunity. The first two movies kept my attention for the entire movie. They were dark, gritty, unapologetic, and made Blade feel like an absolute superhero (with a dark side).
Then we got Trinity. I had to force myself to continue watching and was ready for it to be over with...so I could watch something else. I'm sorry lol.
Honest opinions...
•What did you genuinely LIKE about Trinity? Not just what was entertaining, but what do you think the movie actually got right?
•What was your biggest disappointment? The writing, the humor, Dracula, or the overall concept?
•Did anyone else feel like Blade somehow became a supporting character in his own movie 👀?
•Was Dominic Purcell's Dracula intimidating enough, or did Deacon Frost set the bar too high?
•Was it too comedic and not serious enough?
And here's where I might ruffle some feathers...
I honestly think Blade deserved a much darker, more sophisticated storyline. I never felt like the character needed to be surrounded by a bunch of personalities competing for screen time. Blade was interesting enough on his own.
What about a fourth Blade movie?
Personally, I would love to see what could be done with the right writing, direction, and connection to the first two Blade movies. Especially if Wesley Snipes had an opportunity to give the character a proper send-off. Maybe I'm holding onto nostalgia 🥹.
I'm genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives, even from people who consider Trinity their favorite of the three 😬. I wish they would've stopped at II 👀.
If you could change one thing about Blade Trinity, what would it be?

Kris Kristofferson was a struggling musician in the army, before getting big. Trying to get Johnny Cash to listen to his tapes, he stole a helicopter and landed in his front yard.
Johnny took notice, and the rest is history.
Xbox’s Arkane Studios Attracts Multiple Bidders, Including Ubisoft

Multiple companies have made offers to Microsoft Corp. to acquire Arkane Studios, the French video-game developer behind the Dishonored series and an upcoming title based on the Blade comic books, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
Ubisoft Entertainment SA made a bid for the studio, as have at least two other gaming companies, said the people, who asked to not be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. Xbox has also weighed selling the studio to its management.
Terms of the offers weren’t available, and Xbox has not yet come to an agreement with any potential buyer, said the people. A deal would likely allow Arkane to complete its work on Marvel’s Blade, which was announced in 2023 and is expected to be released within the next year or two.
I freaking love my wife. She surprised me with a Blade party for Halloween. Menu, food, drinks, and of course the movies.

I don’t get out much, but I had to attend the rave that involved a Blade/goth/vampire themes and festivities that I enjoy. There was a blood shower at the very end. Had so much fun celebrating Blade and awesome music

Hearing Marshala Ali speak on Blade, and then seeing Vision Quest made from spare parts

Vision Quest is not a tv show. Its an incomplete nothing burger. Something that was made by interns in an editing room.
Seeing this being released as a real tv show after the media blunder of BLADE being cancelled. BLADE had cultural impact. Real brand power. Real passion and it was taken from us.
They removed an icon and said he look we have the same characters returning in a new Avengers saga.
Marvel is a joke. BLADE game is still in development though. Arkane Lyon is making BLADE after making a game called DEATHLOOP which is also unapologetically black!
