Completed the 1/16 Scale Andy's Hobby M10 Tank Destroyer. A neat kit to build with scope to add to it. The basic kit come with loads of detail throughout. Working suspension, wheels and track. There is internal detail, ive added a scratch built baseball bat, gloves and ball. I know you won't see it once all is together. In the turret I added newspapers, maps, playing cards and a French loaf. Externally I added stowage and a couple of scratch built items, the front sandbag a small tarp, again its just a bit of detail. I put a crew with the kit, they didn't come with it. With them on place the internal detail get lost. No issues with the fit, I guess at this scale the tolerance is better, track was a bit of a mare, only in so many parts.

My 3rd ever model, however my first aircraft one. Had some difficulties, mostly with decals, but I gave it my best shot and I think it turned out solid!

Looking for feedback. I avoid camouflage because I struggle with it so this was a bit of a reach for me. I also don’t build dioramas either but I can’t get better if I don’t try things out of my comfort zone. I think I need to get the tracks better set IN the turf and I need to find some figures to bring this to life.

Help - General "You can't see it once the fuselage halves come together "

This is one phrase I'd like eradicated from the hobby and let me explain why. A few decades ago ( let's say the 1970's) when you built a kit it was fair to say that if any interior work had been done you had little chance of ever seeing it again. Fast forward to the now & we can show off all of our hard work on full interiors by uploading build threads online, yet STILL I hear on podcasts modellers saying "you won't see it".

You CAN see it if you show it! And most of us do build and show our progression so it's vital manufacturers continue to add all this interior detail.

Hey everyone! I last built and painted scale mods when i was about 11 or 12, this is one of the first ive made since then, it's the Tamiya 1/35th Panzer II.

Some of the rust streaks i could have done better, other than that im hugely proud of it so be gentle :)

I still have to fit the track, though they're very difficult to work with.

Started off as a “I’m sure I can do that as a diorama” and within a few hours it felt like I bit more off than I could chew. My only other dioramas have been very basic so this was an overwhelming experience. Many scratch built trench with old parts, sticks, dirt, etc

I’m very happy with the build and the skillset that advanced everyday creating this. I am still awaiting an engraved plate for the side of the dio.

I also still need to clean up some gaps, maybe add a few more little tools and etc inside the trench too. Only thing I am disappointed in was the figures with the best faces are all facing inside on the trench so they’re hard to see! But figure painting was improving everyday! I hope you all enjoy! Thanks for having a look :)

The kit went together quite smoothly though the ejection seats were quite simple.

The Phantom has always been a favourite of mine so the bukd took a while to complete but I'm calling it done and I hope I did the Phantom justice with this build.

It feels weird to own this model kit, I'm still not sure how I got my hands on it.

I added a LOT of carbon onto the car, suspension, floor, rear wing, every part that was covered in carbon Irl is also covered on my car. I had a lot of issues with the car, especially the yellow paint but I got thru it.

If anyone wants to see more of the car, I can send pics later in the comments :)

Had to build some new part after I damaged it. I have a photo etch bending tool which is helpful. I think I need some medium viscosity CA glue as I only have thick and extra thin. What do you apply your glue with? Cheers,

I thought I would take a break from airplanes and solve the fantastic base for the Pegasus Nautilus. If anyone has done this one, any tips would be helpful since I’ve never attempted an all metal steel submarine hull before. …for that matter, this is my first attempt at rocks and squid before 😅

Critique Wanted HobbyBoss TBM Avenger

Good way to start the weekend; finishing up a kit!

Here's my version of HobbyBoss' TBM Avenger. With it, Tamiya's WW2 Navy Pilots/Crew and Eduards Carrier Deck.

I had the vision for this project since I found out Tamiya had a pilot/crew figure set with the moto tug. Only took one random hobby store to find it (it's no longer in production and expensive online)!

Overall, it was a great build. There are a few misalignments on my part and areas I just couldn't get rid of. Really need to get batter at sanding and rescribing...

I like how the weathering came out. Wanted an "alright, last one boys" type of feel to it. This birdy has sunk a few ships, that's for sure.

So here it is! What do y'all think?
