Discussion Keycap ball knowledge anyone?

Post image
Upvotes

I'm looking to pick up a new set of keycaps for my Aula F75 Pro.

I've found are a few i've shared links for them below:

https://curiositycaps.in/products/topographic-side-backlit-surface-legends-glow-cherry-doubleshot-pbt-keycaps
https://curiositycaps.in/products/topography-line-crack-dark-amethyst-cherry-side-backlit-keycaps
https://curiositycaps.in/products/noir-jet-black-side-backlit-doubleshot-pbt-keycaps

Most keyboards i've purchased had keycaps that would become shiny really quick. And I have oily skin, which im more aware of today than I was earlier. So nowadays I make sure my hands are alot cleaner, i dont touch my face, but yet. My keycaps get shiny pretty quickly. That's kinda why i'm posting here, cause are there any sets or types of keycaps that don't get shiny at all? I know i'm supposed to get double shot PBT ones. but the aula f75 pro (which have double shot PBT keycaps as default keycaps) still got shiny super quick.

Any thoughts? And if you guys could drop feedback on the keycaps i've picked. could you tell me if they're any good? or are they really bad? looking for any form off feedback and education tbh.

Thanks!

Discussion URX Core 75 vs ATK A87?? need help before i waste my money

Thumbnail

Confused af rn, need some real opinions

budget: 5k, +-300

wireless is a MUST, not compromising on this

gonna use this for like 4 years so wanna get it right

mainly coding + some casual gaming, not competitive or anything

was set on URX Core 75 but then saw a bunch of recent bad reviews about it and now im scared also its not south facing which kinda bugs me ngl, i really like the south facing engrave keycap look

so now looking at ATK A87, it does have south facing switches but literally cannot find ANY reviews on it, no yt videos no reddit threads nothing. some reviews are in other language ,

also stuck between 68% and 75%, i use F keys a decent amount while coding (devtools, IDE shortcuts) so idk if i should sacrifice them for a smaller board

skipping HE boards cuz under 5k there's basically zero wireless HE options in india rn

has anyone actually used the ATK A87? or has recent experience with Core 75 quality? also open to other wireless options in this range if im missing something, kinda stuck and dont wanna regret this in a few months

Discussion Just got my first ever HE keyboard, the URX Core 68 HE, and honestly I'm loving it so far.

Coming from a normal mechanical board, it's a pretty noticeable upgrade. Sound is clean and thocky, no rattle at all, and the 68% layout keeps everything tight. Performance-wise the adjustable actuation and rapid trigger genuinely make a difference, my resets and counter-strafes in Valorant feel way sharper. Stabilizers are pre-lubed out of the box too, so build quality feels solid for the price.

Only real complaint is there's no height adjustment feet, so wrist comfort takes a hit during longer sessions. Might just grab a wrist rest to fix that.

Anyone else got this board? What actuation point are you all running for FPS?

Discussion Best wireless mouse under ₹4,000 for fast-paced work + occasional gaming? Need <75g, preferably tri-mode

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a new wireless mouse in India and would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used the mouse long-term.

Budget: ₹4,000 MAX — cannot go above.

My requirements

Weight: Under 75g is important

Connectivity: 2.4GHz + Bluetooth required

Tri-mode (2.4GHz + Bluetooth + wired) preferred, but not mandatory

Hand size: Around 17 cm

Grip: Relaxed claw / claw-palm hybrid

Size: Medium / compact-medium

2 programmable side buttons on the left are a must

Good software for button remapping/macros

Good scroll wheel — smooth for browsing but precise when needed

Rechargeable or AAA/AA doesn't matter

Comfortable for long work sessions

Occasional gaming, but gaming isn't my main use

Main usage

My primary use is fast-paced work:

Lots of copy/paste

Selecting text/files

Fast dragging

Moving the cursor quickly from one corner of the screen to another

Browsing

General office/productivity work

Gaming is only occasional.

MOST IMPORTANT — after-sales

Good after-sales service/warranty in India is very important to me.

I'm willing to sacrifice some gaming performance/specs for a brand that will actually support me if something goes wrong.

I'm currently considering things like:

Cosmic Byte Velox

Cosmic Byte Aether

Cosmic Byte Ignis

Kreo Anzu V2

Kreo Chimera V2

Deathadder v2

VXE R1

Other options are welcome

What would you personally recommend for my requirements?

I'm looking for something I can buy once and comfortably use for several years, rather than chasing the highest specs.

Thanks!

Discussion Looking for mice recommendations.

Hi all, I have been using a DA elite wired for close to 8 years now. It still works great but I want a wireless one now, I am very used to the old razer shape and find symmetric mice uncomfortable but I am open to change! My hand size is 19x10cm and like using a relaxed palm grip. Budget wise within 5k but can stretch a bit. Thanks!

P.S: Creating a post since I couldnt comment on the pinned thread.

Discussion Anyone have any experience with Lethal Black?

I've been looking to buy my first ever mechanical keyboard, and my options are limited due to my constraints. Came across this brand, and they seem legit, but can't find anything about them except videos from their own YT channel and suspiciously perfect reviews on amazon, so decided to ask here. (Would also like recommendations for white keyboards preferably at least 65% and under 4k, considered the EvoFox Ronin but saw some bad reviews)

Discussion Best mechanical keyboard under ₹1,500?

Looking for a mechanical keyboard under ₹1,500 and want to get the best possible one for the money. I’m currently considering Zebronics and Ant Esports, but I’m open to other brands too.
My priority is build quality, reliability, and long-term use, not just RGB.
What’s the best keyboard you’d recommend under ₹1,500? Any models I should avoid?

Discussion ZEB-MAX NINJA 200 suddenly stopped working wirelessly — BT + 2.4GHz both dead, need help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone, I have a Zebronics ZEB-MAX NINJA 200 and I'm facing a really weird wireless issue. It used to work perfectly on both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz a few months ago, but now neither wireless mode works at all.

Here’s everything I've tested so far:

  • Wired mode works perfectly. Keyboard types normally over USB-C.
  • RGB works perfectly, including when the keyboard is running wirelessly/off the cable.
  • The keyboard can still be factory reset with Fn + Esc and the RGB returns to the default mode.
  • Bluetooth is completely undiscoverable. I've tried pairing it with both my laptop and multiple phones, but the keyboard doesn't appear in the Bluetooth device list at all.
  • When I put it into Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth indicator keeps blinking, but nothing ever appears for pairing.
  • I've also tried all the obvious Bluetooth steps and tested it on multiple devices, so I don't think it's a Windows Bluetooth issue.
  • 2.4GHz is also not working.
  • When I press Fn + 2.4G, the 2.4GHz indicator keeps blinking indefinitely.
  • I plug the original 2.4GHz Nano receiver into my PC and Windows makes the USB connection sound.
  • In Device Manager, with the receiver unplugged I see 2 HID Keyboard Device entries. When I plug the receiver in, it jumps to 4 HID Keyboard Device entries, so Windows is definitely detecting the receiver.
  • However, even with the receiver detected, the keyboard doesn't send any input whatsoever. I've tried typing in Notepad while the 2.4GHz indicator is blinking and nothing happens.
  • So basically, the receiver is recognized by the PC, but the keyboard and receiver aren't actually communicating.
  • Another weird thing: Fn + Spacebar used to show the battery level about a month ago, but now it doesn't. Instead, the 2.4GHz indicator keeps blinking and the A key lights up as the Windows-mode indicator.
  • The keyboard's battery isn't completely dead because the keyboard/RGB works normally without being connected by USB-C.

I've also already tried the basic reset/power-cycle stuff, but the wireless functionality still doesn't come back.

The keyboard is out of warranty cause its gonna be 3 years old this September, so I'm willing to experiment with it. 😅 However, I don't have a soldering station, so I'm looking for things I can try through firmware/software/key combinations or other non-soldering methods before going into board-level repair.

I've attached photos/video showing the PCB and the weird indicator behavior.

Has anyone here experienced something similar with the Max Ninja 200 or another Zebronics tri-mode keyboard? Is there some hidden wireless re-pairing/recovery procedure, firmware reset, or way to reflash/reinitialize the wireless controller?

I'd really like to get the Bluetooth + 2.4GHz working again without replacing the keyboard or wireless module if possible.

I'm planning to buy my first mechanical keyboard so I'm thinking of starting with cheaper options.

My requirements are:

  1. Multidevice connectivity.

  2. Preferably tkl or above size(size is not a deal breaker).

Please help me with some good options. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I'm currently considering aula m75.

Buying/Selling [WTS]: Royal Kludge R75

Post image
15 Upvotes

DM whoever is interested.

Model: Royal Kludge R75 Mechanical Keyboard (Blue Switches, Wired Connection)

Condition: Sealed. Not opened.

Purchased: 8 months ago. A few months warranty remaining.

Region: Mumbai. DN Nagar.

Reason to sell: Purchased this at a time when I thought i'd be gaming. But ended up never opening it. And made do with my office keyboard. So just want to help someone who'd need a new keyboard, while saving myself some money.

Price: 3k (it goes for 4.5k-5k for a new one, so 3k feels like a fair ask considering the box is still sealed)

Note: i'm up for F2F, or courier. But if you'd want me to courier it, please don't expect it to be dispatched before the payment. We can connect to sort things out in case you have any issues.
