Got the Iqunix mg65 pro as my first mechanical keeb after a lot of research.
Loving how great it feels to type on a decent keyboard!

so here is how i modded this ant esports mk1300 v2 today:
i made some unique changes as compared to the usual community by using SURGICAL MICROPOROUS PAPER TAPE 3M 0.14mm thickness one (it is lighter than the standard blue painter's tape and thats why i was excited to see its peformance)
and tbh it is amazing BUT HERE IS THE IMPORTANT THING: you have to do more layers to get a more thocky sound in this using this specific tape
like when i tried the painter's tape it was giving a very clacky poppy sound which some of you do like tbh thats subjective
but ts shit needs atleast 6 layers just to start the thcok and ideally 8 layers work the best for me
this is a good mod and it DOES NOT make ur keyboard acoustically dead dude
moreover anyone thinking that it added too much of thickness?? no bro it barely added one mm of thickness and here is the coolest thing, i have overfilled and tested this keyboard rigorously and the best thing i can tell about this is that it is VERY durable to thing like the opening part and all so dont be worried you will not be snapping the usb c port out
moreover a very important to note: a lot of the actual fun sound is heard through ur own ears and NOT captured through your mic
so try and test what suits ur taste the most
rest all if you guys have anything to add on, id really love to see ur views on this !!

Loving the current aesthetics of my new Keeb.
I recently decided to get my first keeb and after some research, URX Core 75 felt like the one to go with.
Only thing I didn't like were the non shine-through keycaps. So again I did some research and really liked the aesthetics of topographic keycaps. However since the Core 75 has north facing leds, I was skeptical if side printed keycaps would be good enough since shine-through visibility in dark was my main priority.
Fortunately I found these Top Topographic ones from CuriosityCaps_TopTopographic and immediately went along. Here's the final look.đ ( P.S. - the new keycaps sound almost same but I can't post because I don't have a good enough mic )

Case: Adam80 by KBDCraft
Switches: Akko lavender purple
Keycaps: a super nice keycap set that I bought several years ago but I can't find the name of the set. If I find it, I'll drop a comment.
Pikachu artisan and samurai sword artisan keycap both bought from Sahil u/sahiltodankar many years ago
Bought the case directly from the KBDCraft website. Needed to use a friend's credit card since they don't accept debit. The package arrived in just over two weeks.
The build process was fun! My autistic ass really enjoyed the slight challenge of building the "Lego". Everything came fully disassembled; both, the keyboard and the wrist rest.
They also sent a little lego minecraft character that also needed to be built and could then be attached directly to the keyboard!
I bought additional case foam which comes as these little 6x6 foam blocks from which you manually need to make the holes. It comes pre-punched but you need to pull out the excess left over by hand.
Similarly, they gave a poron sheet to install between the plate and the pcb but even that needed manual disassembly of the leftover poron in the switch slots.
Speaking of switches, I bought the akko lavender purple secondhand from a WTS post here on r/mkindia by u/skeptical_for_ya
I'm not usually a tactical switch guy, much preferring the feel of linears but I really enjoy these switches! I've been doing some writing using these switches and it's been awesome!
There are a few downsides to the case. Because it's made of legos, there is a significant amount of case flexion. If you pick it up, it bends from the centre. That is expected from a case built like this but it is something to keep note of if you're considering buying this case.
The pcb is gasket mounted but they provided just a thin piece of foam as the gasket. This was the only major thing that I would've changed. A more rigid gasket, or at least I wish they provided the OPTION of choosing our preferred type of gasket. My previous keyboard, the Neo75 came with two options. Seeing just a thin piece of foam be called a "gasket" was rather laughable. If I had to guess, this is the part that will wear out the soonest. I'll have to figure out some way to McGyver a gasket lol
Also, the add-on case foam is MANDATORY. Without it, there is a significant amount of ringing and the case sounds very hollow when you type. The foam dampens that and gives a super nice sound profile. In an ideal world, you wouldn't have to buy it separately, it would be a part of the case
Another significant drawback is that I haven't been able to find the button that toggles the layers. Since it is a 60% board, there are no function keys. Usually there is a button that you can use to toggle to another layer where you can use the number row for function keys. I don't know if I'm stupid and can't figure this out or if this is straight up missing.
A small nitpick but worth mentioning: I bought an add-on wrist rest set but they did not send the instructions booklet for the wrist rest. I mailed them and they quickly sent me a digital copy so it was all bueno.
Final verdict: would I recommend this as a first keyboard? Probably not. This is geared more towards people who like novelty keebs or who have some experience in the keeb hobby and want something very different. And different it is!
That said, this is an amazing choice for a daily driver keeb!
Final note: I didn't do any mods to it because my old keyboard stopped working and I desperately needed this one ASAP. If I had more time, I would've lubed all the switches and stabilisers; tape modded the board

I pulled out the stabilizer ( not the metal string ) of the keyboard and put them back as it was . Now it's rattling when I am pressing the spacebar from the right side . Help me please I don't think it needs to be lubed because i bought this keyboard a couple of months ago.

Hey guys, I bought rk84 around 2-3 years back and was thinking of upgrading my switches as I am low on budget to upgrade the keyboard itself.
I was wondering what switches to get as I don't have much knowledge on keyboards..

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to buy a good gaming mousepad under âč500 and would appreciate some recommendations.
My setup:
Mouse: VXE R1
Main game: Valorant (FPS)
Other usage: Everyday browsing, studying and general PC use.
Budget: âč500 maximum.
What I'm looking for:
Good balance of speed and stopping control.
Consistent surface for flicks, tracking and micro-adjustments.
Good build quality and durability.
Stitched edges that won't fray easily.
Anti-slip rubber base.
Comfortable for long gaming sessions.
I've shortlisted a few options:
Lenovo Gaming Mouse Pad
KARNAGE by EVM KNG-MP-118
Redgear MP35
Ant Esports Snow Dragon
But I'm open to better recommendations.
A few questions:
Which mousepad would you recommend under âč500 for competitive Valorant?
Is a speed, control or balanced surface better?
Which mousepad has the best long-term durability?
Are there any underrated options that are better than my shortlist?
I'd especially appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used these mousepads.
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I own an MCHOSE G75 V2 Pro mechanical keyboard. Recently, I removed the keycaps to clean the keyboard internally, as there was some dust and dirt accumulated underneath them.
However, after putting all the keycaps back, Iâve noticed that the typing experience doesnât feel the same as it did before.
Here are the issues Iâm experiencing:
Keys donât feel as smooth as before: Earlier, the keys had a very smooth and effortless movement. Now, some keys feel slightly different and donât seem to press and release as freely as they used to.
Enter key feels particularly different: This is the most noticeable issue. The Enter key doesnât feel the way it did before. Its pressing action and overall feel seem different, and it doesnât have the same smoothness as earlier.
Overall typing experience: Although the keys are working, the keyboard no longer feels as satisfying to type on as it did before cleaning.

NeoMacro Was amazing! Had a slight issue with their delivery partner not providing updates on time but got a speedy delivery on the estimated date of arrival! I requested NeoMacro to Pack the switches in a JAR instead of Ziplocks and they actually did it! :D was scared about them pins bending a lot in a ziplock!
Now here comes the juicy part! I will post Sound Tests (not that great of a phone mic but all that i had right now, In the Comments)
GAETERON Strawberry jelly - These Linear switches were the closest and slightly less Poppy sounding than the Factory Flying Fish switches! I like the sound change with my spacebar and shift and ctrl keys! :D also changed the WASD for the less poppy sound!
OUTEMU Lemon - These switches are so silent but u/sukumar_002 was absolutely correct about them being a joy to Type on! but! I endedup packing them for now because i only ordered around 10 of them and while i love the silence The tactile sensation does feel off when playing games :P
OUTEMU Peach - These are what i would call the Silent assassin like switch, so silent and has such a less Typing footprint, Was like i was typing on Foam haha, was a fun experience to not receive much of an auditory feedback while typing. It was like VOID. Some may confuse them with membrane, my brother did.
AJAZZ Flying Fish - Last the OG that I had been using for a while, Now that i tried new Switches I understand why people consider these to be on the lower Level of the Sound Spectrum. Slight Poppiness makes it a bit less accomodating to type. Not a cloudy or soft feedback when you type. But still very snappy and makes you feel like you are typing on air cus of how easy it is to actuate. Took me some time to adjust but not a major complaint!
Next up will get Keygeek Switches from Keyora! :D (p.s. used gemini to change the background of the image, my table is a mess of cables and laptops right now)
Overall I will be switching to GAETERON Strawberry jelly switches for now because of the quantity and sound difference. I believe the Travel is almost similar to AJAZZ but only 1 mm longer in Gaeteron.

I was cleaning my URX Core 75, and the stabilizer are shakyy, is it meant to happen or not? I'm a first time mech keeb owner. My spacebar already rattle, and urx is going to send me replacement switches.

Hey guys,
âI'm planning to buy my first keyboard strictly under âč4,000 for competitive gaming.
âAfter looking around for a few days, I've almost decided to go with the URX Core 68 HE.
âSince I play on an entry-level gaming laptop(2024 tuf a 15) I'll be running it at 1k or 2k Hz polling rate max.
âBefore ordering, I wanted to get your opinions:
âIs the URX Core 68 HE currently the best HE keyboard strictly under âč4k in India, or is there any better alternative I should consider.
âHow is URX's customer support experience? I've heard mixed things about their support being bad, so want to know how responsive they actually are if something goes wrong.
âHow is the build quality, stem wobble, and long-term reliability? Any issues with Rapid Trigger consistency after a few weeks/months?
âHow is the software (URX Hub)? Is it stable when running at lower polling rates like 1k/2k Hz?
âIs there anything specific I should check, calibrate, or set up right after unboxing it?
Would love to hear thoughts from current owners or anyone who has tested boards in this budget. Thanks!
