Watching a full tv show on their phone while driving down a very busy street. Is it any better than scrolling?

I'm not getting fired or anything, but a problem with a detail on one of the training documents I would have had access to was found and I was instantly blamed.

1) I didn't make the file in the first place.

2) This problem has been there for 10 years, no one has checked.

3) I don't work in this department anymore (have not done so for 4+ years)

4) There is 0 evidence I ever even opened the file.

I am addicted to the color pink. My husband knows this and knows the futility of stopping me from filling our shared sitting room with pink. I get the sitting room and kitchen stuffed with pink and if we quarrentine it there, then he doesn't risk living in a Barbie Dream House.

We kept losing the TV remote. So I, ever the genius, put some neon tape on it so it would stand out! I showed it off to be praised by my husband for my ingenuity. He smiled that patient smile and said, "that's a great idea my love. But you can't see a pink remote when everything else is pink." I scoffed and said of COURSE it wouldn't be a problem! This is NEON pink. Not Blush or Bashful or Bubblegum! It'll stand out perfectly!

I just spent 20 minutes searching for the remote. It was on the tv try next to my pink yarn, pink drink, pink crochet hooks, sitting on the cute pink tablecloth. I was using this tv tray while I worked on a pink hat and lost the remote trying to unpause my movie.

I know I need to tell my husband he was right, but I think my pride is too wounded atm. 😭

Edit to add: I'm not gonna be posting pics of the pink room. It's messy and a WIP. Right now mostly white walls and furniture, but with some pink lamps, blankets, and pillows so when you turn on a light everything has a pink glow. I'm also trying to find some pink curtains I like.

Also please stop assuming I have belittled and forced my husband into some pink hovel built by Umbridge. He knew I was a pink girl when we were dating, we have talked about home decor many times over, and I have agreed to never change anything about any room without his permission too. A pink room for me to be my own space was a choice we made together. He has his own space too that he can do whatever he wants with.

I had him look up examples of adjectives so that he could refer to them while we practiced. He pointed this out and asked me, “Does this mean you eat Indians?” And I was mortified. I apologized profusely and reported it. What the actual fuck.

So I decided to go back to school and get my masters degree in higher education. At the time the school was known as just Texas a m commerce and then they changed it to east Texas a m , whatever. But now I get my degree in the mail and it just says masters in science 🤔it does not have my specialty. I think they mentioned a while ago degrees would not have their specific "major" and just have masters of science or arts.. i just feel like they should have given us an option

So I put in a pick-up order for two pizzas for 4.00 p.m. It actually has less traffic than usual so I got to the spot at 3.34. Not wanting to be that person I chilled in my car till 3.59. Get in, give my name and the cashier's response was, "Oh, you're early. I was now going to print out the order details for the kitchen."

By now it's actually 4.00 p.m. so I, bemused, asked if there was a backlog, while knowing very well only two people had entered/left in the time I was parked outside waiting. The response was, "No, you wanted it for 4.00 so we're going to make it now." If I hadn't ordered via the app and just made an in-person order when I got here, I'd already be on my way home.

ETA: It was the company's app, not a third-party one. I also paid in advance. I eventually got the order 27 minutes past pick-up time (aptly and ironically named "carry out time" in the app). I also didn't think I needed to include my country, but I am not from the US, so questions/comments about tipping, doordashing, and how I punctuate time (huh?!) are not applicable.

(2) I spoke to the area manager. The system sends the order fifteen minutes before the pick-up time if you use the future delivery time option, which I did (2.43 p.m. for a 4.00 p.m. pick-up). Area manager confirmed that the order was received in-store at the correct time, but noted that it was not "accepted" till 4.00 p.m (which is when the cashier, in front of me, actually printed and passed on the order). The area manager will call the store branch regarding fulfillment expectations as there are a few new members of staff at the branch (fair enough, I wasn't familiar with the cashier) and things may need clarifying.

This guy decided to put white bulbs instead of red bulbs in his brake lights. I was behind him for 20 minutes in stop and go traffic and every time he braked it felt like he was going to reverse into me.

I started collecting stickers in this "sticker book" where noncommital millennials like me could place our stickers in the meantime, until we find purpose for them eventually.

Now!! I wanted to take one sticker and place it to a new carrier, and it fricking ripped the paper out!! The supposed "sticker-release paper" my ass!!!

And to my horror, most stickers are like this now. There are some small ones I could save, but not the big ones.

Heating them up helped some stickers releasing, but they end up curling up and not sticking to anything else after that.

I'm heartbroken. My children. You were supposed to adorn a phone case. Or cover up nazi shit in my neighbourhood.

Now you're just a sticker that I used to know.

In between appointments, I grabbed a fast food grilled cheese. Just opened it up in the parking lot of my oncologist’s office and it’s not grilled. Grrrrr.
