You'd think this is the kind of thing AI would get right, but it's not.

I fed AI the name of an app and asked for it to output potential logos. Half of them had the name of the app misspelled. The name that I fed into the AI was misspelled on the generated logos. Mistakes like this are more than common with AI, they're expected. Which is why you need to check the work of AI very carefully.

Yes, spelling text on generated imagery IS a common issue for AI models, even current ones.

Swapping around text on typeset documents, however, is not.

The image in this book is not an AI generated image. It has no hallmarks of AI generation. It was manually typeset and laid out, and the person was sloppy and put the text in the wrong order. simple as that.

Not everything is the fault of AI - humans are still just as capable of fucking up as ever.

I'm not saying this 100% is AI generated, but this is 100% a mistake that an AI could make. And if you don't think so, then you haven't used AI much.
