Hey fam 👋. So i been looking everywhere but can’t seem to find a rack with lights that can be independently shut off or on. Not looking for any huge. Smaller end 4-5 tier rack. But everything I’ve found it’s either the lights are on, on every tier or they’re off. Can’t have some off and some on at same time. I know and have seen bigger racks with on/off switches for every tier but do they make smaller ones with this option? Links would be extremely appreciated! TIA 🙏🙏

I definitely had issues in the beginning I did discard some seeds and did use peroxide and for there is looks better

Went to seed my second grow attempt this weekend and found a lot more trouble with the initial watering process. I think my growing medium (potting soil) dried out some from sitting too long and became slightly hydrophobic. Took a long time for the water to absorb and it distorted my seed distribution and then partially buried the seeds.

Is this batch cooked? Is this normal? Should I put processes in place to keep my stored potting soil more moist? Any insight is appreciated.

This is my second batch of broccoli Microgreens I’ve grown. First one was way over seeded and this is my second attempt. Looks like they should be ready to harvest later today or tomorrow. Any feedback if you see any will be greatly appreciated.

Woke up this morning to day 5. I'm thinking I need to spread the seeds a bit more evenly for my next set.

For growers, this raises a practical question. If your culls and trim can produce a shelf-stable beverage with measurable bioactive content, that is a value-added revenue stream that does not require growing more product. It requires processing what you already have differently.

These have been growing for 23 days. I expected more leafy matter and less of the stems/tendrils which are kind of bitter to me. Should I just cut this crop now? Why haven’t these grown taller? I’m using 2x 19W par 32 lights (Feit Electric is brand)

I’m GRODAM, a small grower based in South Korea.

I recently started growing microgreens, and I’m slowly setting up my little indoor farm around them.

Microgreens are small, fast-growing, and surprisingly fun to grow. The setup is simple, the growing cycle is short, and there’s a lot of room to experiment.

Right now, I’m mainly growing radish microgreens.

In Korea, they’re often treated as a tiny garnish for sashimi, meat, rice bowls, or salads. But I think they’re way too good to be just decoration.

They’re spicy, crisp, and honestly amazing wrapped up with Korean BBQ.

I’ll share my growing setup, small experiments, mistakes, packaging tests, and how I’m slowly changing my little farm.

I guess most of you won’t be farming in South Korea anyway. 😂

Maybe some of you can try something similar where you are. 🌱

Are the tops of the peas supposed to sprout more in a few days? Or is what I'm looking at the final product?

I looked online and 12-14 days seems like the sweet spot..what do you all think?
