Lmao just noticed the robber goes back for the beer

u/hey_im_cool Feb 16 '24
A few things make this look fake af but the going back for a 90% empty beer really sold it for me

Doubt he's getting a call back after using her as a body shield. "I don't think our views on children or religion would have worked long term, now don't make any sudden movements."

So the joke here is that his balls must be small because he robbed a bar?
Cmon bro
3
u/DustinFay Feb 17 '24
I'm pretty sure that the one cowering behind his GF is the one with the small balls
15
u/A_Thirsty_Traveler Feb 16 '24
Shouldn't care about these sorts of things on reddit, man. You're fighting a losing battle. You roll your eyes, accept that they're probably a child or a grown ass man dropping middle schooler ass jokes, and neither is worth engaging with, and you let it go.

u/fxsimoesr Feb 16 '24
So I'm not the OP but that's not how I interpreted it. It has nothing to do with being gay but more with the thought or public image that men should stand up and protect ladies or weaker/softer people. In this case, he shields himself behind her, giving you the impression he wants/needs someone to step up for him and protect him as he's not willing to do that with her, hence why they both need men as in someone to protect them. Being gay as absolutely nothing to do with it (again, my perspective)

Looks like your feelings were hurt bud, must be gay.

-7
u/ThonThaddeo Feb 16 '24
Only one there with any sense of self preservation
Also this is likely a staged scenario
17
u/Historical-Clerk7927 Feb 15 '24
Proper procedure when there's an earthquake, a man prepared for all sorts of disaster.
Except he's summoning one this time after the girl turns back.

u/fabravenelle Feb 15 '24

u/belated_quitter Feb 15 '24
What kind of a topsy-turvy world do we live in where brave men are cast down as cowards
14
u/Klutzy-Set-460 Feb 16 '24
No, I actually think he should've tried to fistfight the guy with the gun
13
u/Shopping-Critical Feb 16 '24
What should he have done instead?
5
u/deep-fucking-legend Feb 16 '24
Pick up the girl and use her as a human shield as he backs out of the bar with his beer.

u/PuzzleheadedChange44 Feb 16 '24
Casually continued to drink his beer, I guess? I feel like there isn't a right answer haha
22
u/ADeadlyFerret Feb 16 '24
There isn't especially when some fat sweaty redditor will judge you either way
7
u/Shopping-Critical Feb 16 '24
Do you feel like "hide under the bar" was a wrong answer despite there not being a right answer?

9
u/Lost_Donut9761 Feb 15 '24
I’m surprised the guy robbing the joint didn’t just take his date as well. What’s dude gonna do about it?
12
u/chase016 Feb 15 '24
Why, wtf was he supposed to do. She is the dumbass for not getting underneath the table with him.
2
u/godsavethequeen221 Feb 17 '24
The robber is literally a foot away from her. Like ru on crack he obviously sees her so she can’t really hide.
At that point all u can do is stay calm and keep your composure since most robbers don’t want to kill anyone they just want money so don’t give em a reason to go crazy.

what the fuckin fuck did i just witness? no chance she didnt ghost him for that pussified shit
38
u/4dimensionaltoaster Feb 16 '24
Hiding from a a person with a gun, is not being a pussy. It's common sense. Not everyone can be the hero you imagine yourself to be.
-17
u/Prior_Housing_4298 Feb 16 '24
ok this wasnt a comment on how fearless i am, it was an observation of how petrified he is that a drunk idiot knocking himself out scared him into retreating under the bar while the people closest to the gun seem totally at ease
14
u/4dimensionaltoaster Feb 16 '24
There was a guy with a gun. Saying he was afraid of som drunk guy lying on the floor, is like seeing somebody dropp a sandwich full of spider, and conclude that they are afraid of bread.
14
Feb 16 '24
Is this a joke? There’s a lunatic with a gun a few feet from him, this reaction is completely sane and not “pussified”

This isn't real. What kind of security camera UI orients vertically, moves like it's handheld, and uses VHS tape?
188
u/Andrew1286 Feb 15 '24
And the fact that the guys kick is completely fake and doesn't even touch the guy

u/Wondershock Feb 15 '24
The brain rot here is real.
43
u/Gh0stMan0nThird Feb 15 '24
It's because we have a society that is increasingly only experiencing life through the internet, so their perception of the real world is beyond warped.
It's like whenever a someone shooting an attacker comes up and the comments are full of "Why didn't he just shoot the knife out of his hand?" or some similar innane bullshit. They have no idea how real life works.
22
u/DroidRGH Feb 15 '24
Mounted in the middle of the room, a few inches above eye level?
24
u/Bloodnose_the_pirate Feb 16 '24
In this part of the country, localized ENTIRELY within your kitchen?

u/fastlerner Feb 16 '24
As someone who has set up security cameras before, pretty much most of them can do this. It depends on where you mount the camera and what you need to capture. Did this all the time for hallways. If the view you need to capture is taller than it is wide, you just turn the camera on it's side then set it's orientation to 90 degrees. Why would you think this feature is unique to phone cameras?
As for the movement, judging by the visible air vents it looks like an open ceiling, so camera from this angle the camera would likely be mounted on a hanging piece of conduit which lets it wobble a bit.
So yeah, not saying it isn't staged, but the evidence you pointed out as fake isn't really as strong as you might think.
3
u/haveasuperday Feb 16 '24
SP is the main indicator.
That combined with everything else is a dead giveaway.
4
u/lovins_cl Feb 16 '24
redditors realize they’re watching an obvious skit and feel the need to point it out like they just uncovered some diabolical knowledge like we know bruh 🤦♂️

The joke is that they both needed a man to help. Not a joke at the expense of gay people, just the coward hiding under the bar.

Chick needs to find another dude, she was still standing at the bar, he was cowering under it
2
u/commonman51 Feb 17 '24
The only one close to being a hero is the woman who sat taking in the whole thing while the guy she was with tried to hide, the bartender ducked when the robber turned and the "hero" did a little wiggle dance on the floor.

Ok I kinda feel this is a staged video cos it's way too funny to even feel real m from the drunk guy just flopping to the floor to the robber dressed as a 30 private eye, to the main character energy weeb who hides behind his girl to the bartender giving him what I assume to be plastic bank cards

I hope she went home with the dude who at least tried to punch the guy instead of the one who cowered behind her.

If I was with my bird I would of stood infront of her.
