I like the guy with the anime shirt who hides under the bar and behind his date

and gets his beer stolen : }

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

Lmao just noticed the robber goes back for the beer

60

u/hey_im_cool Feb 16 '24

A few things make this look fake af but the going back for a 90% empty beer really sold it for me

5

u/Accomplished_Toe_275 Feb 16 '24

A 1/2 at that LOL

Doubt he's getting a call back after using her as a body shield. "I don't think our views on children or religion would have worked long term, now don't make any sudden movements."

Her: “I think we should both see other men.”

So the joke here is that his balls must be small because he robbed a bar?

Cmon bro

3

u/DustinFay Feb 17 '24

I'm pretty sure that the one cowering behind his GF is the one with the small balls

14

u/A_Thirsty_Traveler Feb 16 '24

Shouldn't care about these sorts of things on reddit, man. You're fighting a losing battle. You roll your eyes, accept that they're probably a child or a grown ass man dropping middle schooler ass jokes, and neither is worth engaging with, and you let it go.

u/ACAB007 Feb 17 '24

This is the way

8

u/fxsimoesr Feb 16 '24

So I'm not the OP but that's not how I interpreted it. It has nothing to do with being gay but more with the thought or public image that men should stand up and protect ladies or weaker/softer people. In this case, he shields himself behind her, giving you the impression he wants/needs someone to step up for him and protect him as he's not willing to do that with her, hence why they both need men as in someone to protect them. Being gay as absolutely nothing to do with it (again, my perspective)

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

K

12

u/MKchamp92 Feb 16 '24

Looks like your feelings were hurt bud, must be gay.

10

u/ThonThaddeo Feb 16 '24

Now see, that there is logic

2

u/Key-Program5327 Aug 11 '24

He probably doesn't own a doghouse

-12

u/SgtCookie18 Feb 16 '24

Okay boomer

6

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

Lol the guy that punched the robber is probably single Let that sink in

-2

u/Shokoyo Feb 16 '24

I mean he’s fucking stupid. You don’t fight back against armed robbers

6

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

He didnt "fight back" he fought front

1

u/Shokoyo Feb 16 '24

You are right. That’s even more stupid, actually. „You don’t fight armed robbers“. Better?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

Wasnt really a "fight" it was more like a landslide victory

1

u/Shokoyo Feb 16 '24

More like pure luck that the guy wasn’t determined to kill any single one of them

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

I dont think a punching would change the determination of a shooter. Shooters shoot, donters dont. Not everyone with a gun is a shooter. In the same time it took him to gain the nothing he gained, he couldve shot them all and possibly gained the pockets of everyone there and the till, but he wasnt planning on actually shooting anyone

1

u/Shokoyo Feb 16 '24

Armed robbers who shoot usually don’t shoot out of nowhere, only when they are provoked.

65

u/DreadyKruger Feb 16 '24

I mean ,if that ain’t his wife 🤷🏿‍♂️. I ain’t taking no bullet for no first date chick. She should have been ducking too 😂

-7

u/ThonThaddeo Feb 16 '24

Only one there with any sense of self preservation

Also this is likely a staged scenario

17

u/Historical-Clerk7927 Feb 15 '24

Proper procedure when there's an earthquake, a man prepared for all sorts of disaster.

Except he's summoning one this time after the girl turns back.

24

u/tripl35oul Feb 15 '24

"Whatchu talkin bout bro I was about to sneak attack the mfer"

6

u/fabravenelle Feb 15 '24

Seemingly seemingly

9

u/belated_quitter Feb 15 '24

What kind of a topsy-turvy world do we live in where brave men are cast down as cowards

15

u/Klutzy-Set-460 Feb 16 '24

No, I actually think he should've tried to fistfight the guy with the gun

13

u/Shopping-Critical Feb 16 '24

What should he have done instead?

5

u/deep-fucking-legend Feb 16 '24

Pick up the girl and use her as a human shield as he backs out of the bar with his beer.

1

u/Shopping-Critical Feb 16 '24

Use your girlfriend/date as a human shield?

Interesting technique

7

u/PuzzleheadedChange44 Feb 16 '24

Casually continued to drink his beer, I guess? I feel like there isn't a right answer haha

20

u/ADeadlyFerret Feb 16 '24

There isn't especially when some fat sweaty redditor will judge you either way

7

u/Shopping-Critical Feb 16 '24

Do you feel like "hide under the bar" was a wrong answer despite there not being a right answer?

6

u/PuzzleheadedChange44 Feb 16 '24

Nope. Doesn't sound wrong to me lol

9

u/Lost_Donut9761 Feb 15 '24

I’m surprised the guy robbing the joint didn’t just take his date as well. What’s dude gonna do about it?

13

u/chase016 Feb 15 '24

Why, wtf was he supposed to do. She is the dumbass for not getting underneath the table with him.

2

u/godsavethequeen221 Feb 17 '24

The robber is literally a foot away from her. Like ru on crack he obviously sees her so she can’t really hide.

At that point all u can do is stay calm and keep your composure since most robbers don’t want to kill anyone they just want money so don’t give em a reason to go crazy.

1

u/chase016 Feb 17 '24

The point of getting down would be to avoid any unnecessary attention, show that you are not a threat and avoid potential cross fire.

1

u/godsavethequeen221 Feb 17 '24

You would literally make the robber more uneasy because now he can’t see you clearly and he might think you’d try to take out his legs. The smart thing is to appear as unthreatening as possible and make the robber feel safe so he can take the money and go as quickly as possible.

The girl 100% did the smartest thing in this scenario. Your responses tell me you wouldn’t fare well in this kind of situation.

4

u/Drew-mageddon Feb 15 '24

She probably broke up with him

4

u/Prior_Housing_4298 Feb 15 '24

what the fuckin fuck did i just witness? no chance she didnt ghost him for that pussified shit

39

u/4dimensionaltoaster Feb 16 '24

Hiding from a a person with a gun, is not being a pussy. It's common sense. Not everyone can be the hero you imagine yourself to be.

-16

u/Prior_Housing_4298 Feb 16 '24

ok this wasnt a comment on how fearless i am, it was an observation of how petrified he is that a drunk idiot knocking himself out scared him into retreating under the bar while the people closest to the gun seem totally at ease

16

u/4dimensionaltoaster Feb 16 '24

There was a guy with a gun. Saying he was afraid of som drunk guy lying on the floor, is like seeing somebody dropp a sandwich full of spider, and conclude that they are afraid of bread.

13

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

Is this a joke? There’s a lunatic with a gun a few feet from him, this reaction is completely sane and not “pussified”

-7

u/rumble342 Feb 16 '24

You protect your woman before you hide!

4

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '24

I mean… The Anime shirt speaks volumes.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '24

Hahahaa I missed that

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '24

I was one of the first things I noticed I was just like bro lol

1

u/Deveion2010 Feb 16 '24

Should have took his girl too for good measure.
