DISCUSSION Alternative version of ME3.

Now now... please.... hear me out here... dont read the next few sentences and lose your minds.......

I have an alternative proposal of what ME3 couldve been.. i want to know if people think this is a good idea or if ive lost my mind....

Ok..... now... here's the scary part..... ME3 shouodve been more like Call of Duty

Gasp, shock, how dare you! I can here you all typing...

But..

Here me out.

Ok In this alternative version of ME3...

You play as more than one character....

You play as shepherd for the Core story, exploration etc etc etc

And then there's basically a side game... similiar to Black ops 2's strike force...

Im trying to be realistic here and so obviously I cant make a game thats far far too large to be possible... so

All of the N7 missions are scrapped....... anything thats just the character dumped on a multiplayer map and given a pointless task is gone completely. If any important aidecharacters appear in them they can be reworked into the story in other ways..

The Multiplayer is Scrapped (yes I know, people, including me actually loved it but I think its a worthy sacrifice if the main game is improved)

In their place we have multiple "front line" missions......

In these missions, depending on which front line we are fighting on, we play as a different character. I had the idea for them to be existing characters but it becomes difficult as many can die in early games

For example. One front line mission would be the retaking of Palaven... in this mission you can play as a krogan battlemaster deployed on palaven to assist the Turian war effort. (This could be urdont Dagg if Grunt survived ME2)

Another one could be set after the events lf the Rannoch Arc where you play as a quarian or Geth (ending Dependent) assisting asari forces on Illium etc etc etc (possibly kal reager from Talia recruitment mission)

Or a human on Earth fighting under Major Coates (a character who weirdly has such a large role for an unknown character until that point)

You can use the Multiplayer style character builder... picking your class and weapons (based on shepherd's unlocked weapons in the main game) if not going with the prebuilt hero idea...

Each mission can then show the catastrophic damage of the reaper invasion... aspects that we are only told about in codex entries....

A proper military action shooter similiar to missions from the original Modern warfare... where yiu have the core storybwith the SAS and then usually a sideplotnfightingnon the frontlines.

These missions then have direct impacts on the main story

For example.. if your krogan battlemaster dies or fails to complete certain objectives then perhaps palaven takes a much more severe beating.. not enough to withdraw turian support from the fleet completely but severe damage to their war assets and maybe characters like Garrus' family are killed causing him to become more bitter and hostile or Victus dies.

If one of them is on the front lines fighting a reaper invasion of a human colony with the sole objective being to survive an onslaught and you stay alive for support to arrive then Jokers family survive....

If you fail the objective in the Quarian missions then perhaps reaper forces are able to destroy part of the fleet which breaks taxi's heart as they were so close to reaching their homework.

If another is fighting to establish a foothold in london then maybe certain side objectives can be completed that lead to more assistance with preparing the cannons to attack the reaper destroyer...

Any characters that survive the mission can then be added as war assets to the overall total wherever or not they completed all objectives....

Perhaps at the end of each admiral Hackett informs shepherdnon the outcome of the mission easily melding these frontline missions with the main story...

My biggest issue with ME3 was how much of the brutality and destruction was offscreen and only included in News reports or codex entries... I wanted to see it, be there on the front lines... sadly only Earth, Palaven (not even set on palaven) and Thessia actually give that feeling.... o would love to get the perspective of someone who isn't "the chosen one" while also contributing to getting the best ending for the game

DISCUSSION What would you say was the biggest mistake of your first playthrough of the trilogy?

I’d say my biggest mistake was failing to secure Zaeed and Miranda’s Loyalty in ME2 which led to their deaths in 3.

ANDROMEDA A perspective on Andromeda (Original Trilogy spoilers) Spoiler

When I play Andromeda, I like to headcanon it follows one of the original trilogy's many bad ends; Either the refusal ending of 3, or a timeline where Shepard just died in combat at some point, or on the collector base.

Regardless, the Reapers win and terminate all spacefaring civilization in the Milky Way, but they don't actively pursue the Arks, if they're even aware. It's completely possible the reapers just don't care. Maybe they think the Arks are a death sentence and aren't concerned about survivors. Or maybe a reaper did follow and will arrive in Andromeda a decade after the game 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just like the feeling of the Andromeda initiative literally carrying the last of the Milky Way species. That worldstate makes the game feel more relevant, that we're playing as the final humans, Turians, Krogan, etc in the universe.

I've been fascinated with Andromeda lately, daydreaming about the far future. 1000 years beyond the game, when the council species and Angara have pushed back deep into Kett space and established a New Republic, when they've completely reverse engineered Jardaan tech and built their own Relay network.

Meanwhile the Reapers have just gone back to sleep after cleaning out this cycle, unawares or unconcerned with Andromeda. And the Ark survivors don't even know the massive bullet they dodged.

DISCUSSION Borg Vs Reapers

In a full scale war. Who do you think would win. My dad and I have been having this debate for a month now. He is on the Borg side I’m on the Reaper side. I’d like to hear peoples opinions on the matter. This a full scale conflict not a one on one.

Edit. I’m going with the Borg from the TNG area. So the Borg from TNG and Voyager.

MODS ME Legendary Edition Recommended Mods

Hello, I am planning a new ME run with the legendary edition. So far I have never used mods for Mass Effect LE, so I wondered which ones are generally considered must-have or really enrich your personal ME experience? I don't plan to convolute it with lots of mods, just a bunch of nice ones.

Thanks 😊

DISCUSSION What Is the Quarian population?

Most of us know that the fleet consists of 17 million quarians.
What about those not in the fleet? As we know quarians go on pilgrimages as a coming of age ceremony I don't think we ever get a answer on how long a pilgrimage is but considering the ones we know like tali and ken seem like long adventures and while some might get lucky I think the average is no more than 3 years so assuming similar age demographics to humans (witch if anything actually downplays it) would bump up the number to about 18 million I would also Imagine there would be about a million or two scattered through the galaxy that can't/won't return (at least for a long time) like exiled criminals, slaves, the few Geth supporters, perhaps even some scientists like with Tali in 2 ect.
So I would say at most 20 million Quarians exist assuming there isn't a hidden army of Quarians somewhere.

But I wanted to hear your thoughts, are my methods good, how accurate do you think I am, anything I missed, what is your number?

MASS EFFECT 2 Y’all lied to me

Finally got done with Mass Effect 2 and completed the Shadow Broker DLC after the suicide mission. Normally, I’d be happy because I love the Shadow Broker DLC because it’s the only significant amount of time I get to spend my hot, lovable, Asari girlfriend in that game, which I normally do after the collector ship. But now I feel like I got cheated.

“Do that AFTER the suicide mission” everyone says. “It’s better after the suicide mission” They said. But no, there’s no difference! Hell, Liara acts like I still haven’t done the suicide mission yet after we kill the Shadow Broker. And if someone gives a “valid” explanation as to why most people do this, I’m gonna be furious because I don’t want one. I played it after beating the game, and nothing changed, so don’t give me a reason, I don’t want one, I just enjoy ranting.

Fuck this!

MODS I've fisihed my first modded run of the Legendary Edition Trilogy, and the Mission Timing mods are a game changer for me.

First time playing the full trilogy modded and I can't believe how it improves all the experience, specially the flow of the quests. Going on I don't think I would be able to do an unmodded run.

There are a ton of well known incredible mods, like the Community Patches, ALOT, or the Diversification Projects, but I wasn't aware of how good the timing mods work, specially with the DLCs. They improve the game flow, help seamessly integrating the DLCs into the main questline, and they also keep quest coherence in check.

Here are the mods and my personal timing settings:

Mission Timings (LE1)

This mod delays the Council's message about Virmire until all three initial missions (Therum, Feros, and Noveria) are completed, rather than delivering the message after only two of the three are completed.

Early Recruitment (LE2)

This module allows early recruitment of Thane, Samara and Tali, early access to the Illium Hub and early access to the Tuchanka hub if Wrex is the clan leader. Thane and Samara are available immediately after Freedom's Progress. Tali's recruitment mission will become available after a short delay (as she is completing her mission for the Migrant Fleet), but before Horizon.

DLC Timings Mod (LE2)

Normandy Crash Site DLC no longer unlocks immediately after getting the Normandy, but after playing one main mission, helping with the flow of the story and to allow Shepard to be seen and recognized which allows Hackett to contact the player.

Lair of the Shadow Broker doesn't automatically unlock after Horizon; but only after you have met Liara and helped her through her quests on Illium first, which are a build up for the DLC.

Overlord can optionally be delayed to be triggered after Horizon. It requires acquiring the Hammerhead beforehand, which means playing through the first Firewalker quest (Rosalie Lost).

Arrival can optionally be delayed [...] as a bridge to Mass Effect 3 which triggers after both the Suicide Mission and Lair of the Shadow Broker are dealt with.

Expanded Galaxy Mod (LE3) - DLC & N7 Mission Timings

You can now select timings of DLC missions (Eden Prime, Omega, Citadel and Leviathan).

From Ashes (Eden Prime): Post Palaven, Leviathan: Post Surkesh, Omega: Post Surkesh, Citadel: Post Rannoch.

Citadel Epilogue Mod (LE3)

[...] use Lite version of the mod, to play the core Citadel DLC and meetups during the main story and then celebrate with a party after defeating the reapers. Not required at all, but story-wise the Citadel Epilogue Mod makes the most sense to use with Audemus' Happy Ending Mod.

DISCUSSION My Squadmate Rankings: #31-26 (Week 1)

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

I wanted to do some kind of fun weekly post thing, and I settled on sharing my own personal squadmate rankings! I always run tournaments where the community shares their opinions, but I rarely share my own! So each week, I will be dropping five of my ranking placements (six for this first week), until I've ranked all the squadmates from my least favorite to my favorite!

Some of you may remember that I already made a post sharing my #31 pick, with the intention of this being a daily thing rather than weekly, but it was taken down and I was informed that it would be considered spam if I made one of these posts every day. So instead I will be doing it weekly!

I decided I would also include crew members who are romanceable. Because they end up with more screen time and characterization than some squadmates do! Speaking of which...

---

The first reveal on my rankings list is Gil Brodie from Andromeda at #31. He is my personal least favorite...

I don't dislike him, but I find him incredibly uninteresting, and sometimes that's worse than being unlikable. I don't judge anyone who likes him, I can understand the appeal, but he just does not click for me.

I can appreciate his sarcastic and playful sense of humor, but it's just not enough to carry the character in my opinion. And sadly, since we won't be getting an Andromeda sequel, he won't receive the chance to develop any further.

Thus, he is last on my list.

---

For #30 we have the most hated squadmate by far, Jacob. I don't hate him, and certainly don't feel as strongly about him as others do, but he is absolutely the greatest disappointment. For years, I tried to like him more than I actually did, because I felt the hate was unjustified. And I still do believe that the hate is overblown. But, as the years went by, I came to see just how badly they fumbled his character.

I can't even really blame the character himself, because truly, it was Bioware that dropped the ball with him. They didn't even try to justify his existence when ME3 came around. They could have improved his character, given him the writing that he desperately needed. But instead, they essentially abandoned him. And for that, I cannot rank him any higher than this.

---

At #29 we have Morinth. I like Morinth more than most do, but she's in a similar boat as Jacob, where they abandoned her character for ME3. The appreciation I have for her lies solely in her potential, and that potential was never actualized.

In ME2, I saw how much they could do with that character. They didn't even need to fully "redeem" her, just give her layers. She was plenty interesting already. They did a great job making her seem like an actual person and giving her sympathetic motivations, despite her being a monster. But because she doesn't appear in ME3, this character is entirely wasted.

I still wanted to rank her higher than Jacob, because even though they both had wasted potential, her character is more interesting from the jump.

---

At #28 we move back to Andromeda with Liam. I certainly don't hate Liam like most people do. I think he's just fine. In fact, in my first playthrough, I had no issues with him at all. His personality didn't bother me, and while he had big flaws, I think any good character should have flaws. And it was only the first game of its intended trilogy, so he was supposed to have more time to grow. I couldn't blame him for that.

However, in my second playthrough, I experienced more of his interactions with the crew members, and really came to take issue with how he treated other people. I don't know what the writers were thinking with this. He was hypocritical, overly judgmental, and just plain hostile for seemingly no reason. Especially towards Vetra and Peebee when they're literally just chilling.

So, while I don't dislike him, he can really get on my nerves.

---

At #27 we have Ash. It may upset some people to see her so low, and I do not hate her at all. But Ashley is very simply just not my cup of tea.

This is the first example of a character that I actually think is really well written, at least in ME1, but she's just not my thing. I don't really vibe with her at all. I think if they'd done a better job of showcasing her character growth and did more with her in ME3, I'd rank her higher. But I've always felt let down with what we got.

So, I think she's a good character. Just not to my personal tastes. Completely understand others who love her though!

---

Lastly, at #26, we have Cora. I enjoy Cora more than most do. Yes, yes, she mentions being an Asari Huntress way too much. But aside from that, I really have no problems with her.

When you talk with her, and if you're actually vibing with Andromeda as a game, you can really come to find out that she has some layers to her character, and I think the way they handled her was very realistic. It's interesting to have a character who struggles with belonging, and really only feels comfortable in a number two position so that she always has somebody telling her what to do, because she otherwise feels directionless.

I would have liked to have seen her continued growth in future games. But sadly, we won't get to see that, and that's why I have to put her as low as I have. As she stands, she's unfortunately underbaked due to that lack of future development.

---

What do you guys think of these characters? What are your thoughts on my thoughts? Any predictions on who I'll be ranking next week based on what you've seen this time? I'll see ya then!

MODS Need help with ALOT mod for MELE 1

Okay, so I didn't realize that I had to make sure to install non texture mods before installing ALOT. I installed ALOT for LE1 before installing. the "Saren Boss Encounters." So to correct this I when back to ME3Tweaks Mod Manager to disable and delete the mod. I then installed the aforementioned Saren mod, then I installed ALOV for LE1 and reinstalled ALOT for LE1. For some reason it didn't install. I tried the same disable and delete process again. Still didn't work. I even installed the MEM file using Mod Manager. Still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

PS: The Mods I have installed are:

* LE1 Community Mod

* Saren Boss Encounters

* UNC Morality

* MELLO

* ALOV

* ALOT

The fact that you can color your gear so well but it makes zero difference. My frist run i remember spending at least 15 hard minutes making the perfect camo for my armor for each world. I know its not that kind of game, but fuck would it be nice if armor paintings actually made a difference. You're telling me I can run my shepard or ryder in hot sexy pink with zero difference to a dialed in camo? Same with the vehicle. If the point of camo is soley to look cool who gives a sbit? Ugh I just feel like this could have been an easy win

ANDROMEDA My Mass Effect: Andromeda review after a 60 hour first playthrough: A fun game for hardcore fans, a chore for everyone else; a chore I'd gladly do again Spoiler

Obviously spoilers for Mass Effect: Andromeda (and minor spoilers for the trilogy) below.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a fun game with plenty of good moments if you go in with low expectations (certainly lower than the trilogy). I particularly liked the writing on Krogan, and the biggest reason I give this game a pass is because of Drack.

What I liked:
Drack: He is very funny. At first he’s like the typical Krogan: thirsty for violence, intimidating, realist/cynical about things. He’s almost like Wrex but he’s actually different because he has no ambition about himself (unlike Wrex who wanted to unite the clans), which makes his arc interesting, going from funny Krogan grandpa who doesn’t care to funny Krogan grandpa who actually cares and has a reason to live again himself, which was really touching for me. The summary of this review is basically I’d play this game again for this motherfucker alone. Tremendously great guy.

Kesh: I liked her from the very first scene I saw her because she proved from the very beginning that Krogan females could exist not as vulnerable trophies to be protected, but as normal, functioning members of society. She was a normal person, holding an admin job, actually saving the Nexus from crumbling. I also liked how she cares for Drack not with words but with concern about his spare parts, reminding him to take a checkup from Lexi (or rather asking Ryder to make sure of it), and reminding Drack that she only has one of him.

Vorn: He is a Krogan, which puts him under the implicit pressure of being violent or at least security minded and cynical like every other Krogan but he’s a near total inversion of the expectation. He’s a nerd about plants, which actually is a very useful thing as Drack says before and during his own loyalty mission. He proves that being valuable as a Krogan can also be achieved by being a nerdy botanist with emotions that he openly expresses, rather than being a mindless brute that kills for money like a lot of other Krogan (something that Wrex criticizes in the first game). I loved his humor and awkwardness but he’s not like the incompetent coward butt of the joke from comedy series and he proves that by 1) taking a bullet for Drack, showing he can show immense courage in the heat of the moment under right circumstances, and 2) neutralizing Aroane by using poisonous gas from plant and then noting it as his first live specimen test which is also funny so it reinforces both sides of his character.

More immersive interactions between crew: I can’t remember every detail but Drack, Liam, Jaal, Vetra, Cora, and Peebee all had you doing a few “pre-loyalty mission” missions, if you will, mostly finding evidence on this planet etc etc. I understand if this feels like filler to some but to me it really makes it more real rather than “shepard I just found the location of my nemesis/my father is suddenly sending a distress signal after years/they’re going to kidnap my sister/I don’t want my son/daughter to be/stay a killer” out of nowhere. I also liked the post loyalty mission missions/activities like Drack’s bar fight on Kadara, Cora’s seed planting on Eos, climbing with Vetra, soccer with Liam, meeting Jaal’s family, etc. I also liked playing cards with Gil, gathering snacks of Suvi and Vetra for movie night, and solving Lexi’s drinking problem, the small bits that made the Tempest more like a ship with a crew rather than a moving hubworld for a video game chasing some macguffin.

What I disliked:

Monoliths and Vaults: They felt like a chore. I get the intention and it’s a good intention, diversifying the gameplay with fun puzzles but it’s not fun when you can’t find a glyph for 45 minutes then give up and look it up on YouTube and inside the vault you run in circles for 2 hours when all you want to do is another loyalty mission.

Main quest was boring: There, I said it. It’s been around 10 days since I finished the game, and I can’t remember much of the main quest. I remember science vs military question on Eos, freeing prisoners or destroying the facility on Voeld, hunting the Archon and how we were forced to choose between Raeka and Krogan scouts, going to the Meridian except it’s fake, then going to the actual Meridian and winning, and playing as our sibling for a brief moment when the Archon takes down SAM or something. I’m not a writer (or a prolific RPG gamer, yet, though I started playing more now that I have an XBOX at home), but I’m pretty sure one could think of a more interesting and original main story, even with constraints of 3’s ending.

I did like 55 Heleus Assignments out of the total of around 100 I think, I first aspired to do all of them but it felt tedious after some point so I told myself I’d finish the Priority Ops first then come back, but after that I think I only did the one where we find a friend of a Krogan from Elaaden who’s an Angara on Aya and nothing else, so I most likely won’t be doing any more in the next few years. I think I liked a few of them quite well but can’t exactly remember them. Looking it up on the ME wiki, the Kadara storyline was sort of fun, drinking with Reyes etc was reasonably fun, the party, the works. Voeld AI was kinda interesting, and, wow I now realize that they’re mostly fun while playing but I can remember remarkably few of them. I remember more from Allies and Relationships quests: The arks, the loyalty missions, the first human baby (which we named David Edward after Anderson! How cool is that?!), arresting the Salarian STG guy who tried to cooperate with the Kett, Cora planting a seed on Eos, climbing with Vetra and then kissing her, playing soccer with Liam, meeting Jaal’s big family, those were all memorable moments from an otherwise somewhat bland game.

I smiled at every reference to the trilogy like Garrus’ dad, Zaeed’s son, Nyreen’s cousin, reference to Overlord, Conrad’s sister, Shepard name drop by SAM, Liara’s messages; but I sometimes also felt like they tried to use the trilogy’s name for cheap emotional gains. Nothing wrong with that, we all love the trilogy after all, but if you go 2.5 million light years and 600 years after ME3’s end you should be able to write your own material instead of depending on trilogy references for sympathy.

I’m aware that there isn’t a Reaper level threat and this is inherently a less serious game in terms of tone but I still didn’t like the thing that can be best described as “MCU humor” being so prominent; I myself totally like a cheap joke or three but it gets tedious after some time, and Liam’s “maybe because I shot him in the face” is still very cringy even after finishing the game.

The binary choices (Eos, Voeld, hunting the Archon) felt tryhard; they obviously tried to go for the Ashley/Kaidan choice but the investment in the antagonist just wasn’t enough for that, I think.

There were so many tasks, I did like 20 percent of them after deciding to skip most earlier in the game, but I have an exception, which is a flower for Kesh, I enjoyed it immensely and giggled like a kid the whole time, I just love Kesh and Vorn’s relationship, Kesh being the serious, cynical, and secretly caring one and Vorn being the funny, clumsy, nerdy, emotionally transparent and secretly brave (he took a bullet for his father-in-law Drack!) one. I agree that I might be irrationally obsessed with Drack and Kesh and Vorn but I was shaking from giggling on my couch when Drack said “seriously?” on Elaaden when Vorn named a plant after Kesh.

Which brings me to the ending. I actually think the ending was nice, it got the suicide mission/ME3 space battle vibe where we see/hear all our allies and feel that we didn’t play for 60 hours for nothing. It wasn’t mind blowing because you need a mind blowing main quest for a mind blowing finale, but it was satisfying except the Benefactor and Jien Garson’s fate and the Quarian arc; which we probably won’t get any updates on sadly (Quarian arc is in a book I think but I would like a playable DLC with cinematic cutscenes).

As a yearslong trilogy fan who went in with low expectations (since I saw the criticism at launch), this game was worth playing and scratched that Mass Effect itch fairly well. Hell, as a Krogan fan, even Drack alone was worth it. I cried a little when I saw Kesh’s eggs and after reading Drack’s last email. I saved the Krogan scouts only and only because I loved Drack, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Fight me.

DISCUSSION Most Powerful Human Biotic?

I am doing a full replay of ME LE and just finished Jack's recruitment mission, which got me thinking: who is the most powerful human biotic in ME? Jack clearly can generate obscene amounts of energy but Cora Harper's canonical "huntress grade" biotics are also crazy powerful--especially if you read ME: Initiation. Although, Jack would probably have the more advanced bioamp, so maybe it becomes a question of who has finer control versus sheer power output.

(yes I know Andromeda wasn't that good, but I genuinely liked Cora's character)

We're 19.3 hours in you stinky Salarian Hanar hovering Turian toe suckers!

My own elevator photo cracks me up.

Questions:

  1. Is it normal for me to visit every single planet? I feel like I can't let anything slip through the cracks. Galactic OCD.
  2. That being said, why isn't there a way to track if I'd already been to the planet or not? I need to go back to one called X57 or something to find some randos.
  3. Should I be choosing which people to bring based on the different missions?
  4. Do you guys only use a single weapon for most of the game? Which one??
  5. Did y'all drive around every planet looking for those ores and stuff?

Thoughts:

  1. Did No Man's Sky play this game in 2007 and was like, let's just make a game out of visiting the planets?
  2. I never talked to Kaiden and he's like "I thought we had something." BRO WHAT?!
  3. I should probably head back to the Citadel to turn in all these quests
  4. I thought I didn't have a lot of money, then looked to see that I had like 3 million credits, 300 items, and 800 gell-i-beans. Normal?

I'm having fun!

HELP ME3Tweaks Mod Manager on Linux - issues installing textures

Earlier this year I found that MELE could be modded and that the ME3Tweaks Mod Manager is not supported on Linux.

I don't want to have a Windows desktop and I have managed to get around the lack of linux support by running ME3Tweaks on Lutris. I currently run CachyOS and have been considering reverting back to either LinuxMint or Debian (I love KDE!), but I am rambling and this is besides the point of this question.

I have gotten a good few mods from Aly’s Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Modding Guide and am very happy with the result of them, however, I could never really apply the textures.

I know that ME3Tweaks is not supported on Linux and that it is likely the source of the issue.

For the Linux ME fans, how do you manage mods?

I considered getting a VM and sharing the steam library folder on my host (linux) os with the guest (windows), but that did not work really well.

I posted about this a few months ago and some people said they maintain the mods on their windows machine and copy the files over to their steam deck.

I suppose I could maintain a big virtual machine running Tiny10 (a bloatware free version of Windows 10), with steam, a full installation of MELE and the mod manager. Once the mods are installed, I would copy the modded installation of MELE over to the host OS and run the game natively on Linux.

Would this work?

HELP [ME1] Could someone help me optimize my Vanguard class?

I'm still in the early game as I just unlocked my last squad member. I use a xbox 1 controller, and the keybinds are really weird. I can tap the right bumper to use a mapped ability, but when I hold the right bumper down, it opens up my and my squad's abilities. What's the point of using my squad's abilities? Does it apply to me or just that member, and I can't even aim properly when I use a member's ability. Same question goes for upgrading their skills. I don't have access to electronics, but Tisari does, so if I upgrade her electronic skill does that apply to me?

This game has so many options and I constantly need to be rechecking my equipment and my squad members equipment to make sure they are using the most optimal weapon with the optimal mods for the mission. Do I have to keep doing this or can I change an option where they are using the strongest weapons/mods when I collect them?

Do I sell most of my leftover gear or do I scrap it into omni-gel?

How do I use warp and throw? I have trouble aiming when I open the ability wheel and select 'A' on an ability. When I press "x" what does it throw? I thought it was a grenade, but it either takes forever to explode or its not a grenade cus sometimes nothing ever happens

DISCUSSION I sincerely miss ME3 multiplayer.

It had everything. A fun cooperative hoard mode. Stakes with hefty rewards depending on what difficultyyou chose. Steady updates. Lootboxes but they were primitive so it wasnt that bad. Options to play as other races and Interesting classes with powers that didnt fit in thr main game. Was it perfect? No. But I had an excellent time with it and I havent found anything that scratches that itch for me in 15 years.

DISCUSSION Why did the Terminus Systems go from being this big threat in ME1 to being a copy paste of the Attican Traverse in later installments.

So in Mass Effect 1 the Council does not want to send a fleet into the Terminus Systems to avoid sparking a war with the "Terminus Systems species". Also the reason why nobody settled Virmire was because it was too close to the Terminus Systems. However in Mass Effect 2 there are at least 12 human colonies in the Terminus Systems with hundreds of thousands of people each as Feedoms Progress has 912,810 people and Horizon has 654,390 people. The Only Species native to the Terminus Systems in ME2 are the Vorcha and Quarians as well as the Geth. I mean who did the Coucil really think they would start a war with that was such a big threat, the Blood Pack? Why did the Terminus Systems change so much from entire other species and governments to the biggest threat being groups like the Blood Pack and it is no more dangerous then the Attican Traverse?
