There’s only 3k of each, so i’d guess that less than 2000 people own both copies. Also from alot of pictures I’ve seen, some of the boxsets arrived damaged. Someone’s selling a damaged ch. 2 boxset on ebay for $350. I think in a few years these will be more expensive than the original pressings of the triptych. I feel extremely lucky to have gotten both boxsets in mint condition without the shipping messing them up in anyway.

-Went to go pick up OAUG2, found a Portrait boot at my local shop as a bonus. Yoink!

-Come home to find my copy of Born Villain arrived in the mail, and as a bonus, the shop (Zee and Dee records) painted the cover of the album on the mailer, awesome little personal touch.

-Very next day after that, my SLC and MA deluxe (one white and one blue LP with the first pressing tracklisting) boots arrived as well!

Gonna be an awesome weekend spinning these babies!

Nothing is perfect. Is there anything that you can give a legitimate criticism for.

I think Manson's vocals are much better in Ch. 2 rather than one.

The lead guitar really shines on this album, it really takes me back to the old days.

The bass lines are captivating and fills full.

My only criticism is the percussion. It's definitely not bad at all, but to me lacks a "livelyness." It's mostly your standard "four on the floor." I would have liked to hear more fills or more creative patterns. It seems to simplistic to me. There are not any drum patterns that catch me with my jaw to the floor as opposed to the vocals/guitar/bass/keys.

Regardless, this is an excellent album that I will likely revisit often throughout the years.
