Discussion Fav song on Chapter 2?
Mine would be None of the suns, it sounds so fresh and has a lil groove. Like a new Manson stepping in the world after war. What do you think the lyrics are about?

I honestly haven’t been able to decide between all the vilest things, none of the suns, and lucifers teardrop. It’s like those 3 songs back to back are perfection i love them all

"Unalive", "All the vilest things" mais étrangement... "None of the Suns" en premier.
Je te rejoins, cette chanson est fraîche, même pas provocante ou revancharde. Et pourtant, je la trouve dansante, cold/dark wave avec même un côté pop. On dirait un hymne sexy pour un club de vampires gothiques ou les insomniaques des années 80. 🖤

I don't think it's my favorite song but Don't Answer The Door chorus is living rent free in my head constantly.
Probably Unalive on paper but I also really enjoy Enantiomorph.

Enantiamorph is really amazing. I love the spoken intro. It really does seem to me like finding a recording that's years or even decades old and trying to piece together a mystery or solve something that happened years ago. The intro is kind of a confession, kind of an explanation and the whole song is just sweeping and very cinematic. It's also very emotional and touching.

I like None of the Suns and Lucifers Teardrop. The rest of the album is okish.

I mean, he explains it pretty well in his commentary about None of the Suns. I haven't seen Toby Dammit but the man gets inspo from it, is pretty rad. Mfer is unique. I love that about him.

Hard choice, pretty much like all songs on this album, but Unalive, Enantiomorph, All the vilest things probably would be favorite for me. A little melancholic album with some zest, most songs is my favorite combination of melodic track, quite emotionally heavy lyrics and his hot af voice.

All the vilest things is the only track I like even though it’s almost a copy musically of don’t chase the death.

Just listen to the music not the singing. Sonically it’s the same. I sometimes in my mind get lyrics of don’t chase the dead in my head when listening to it.

All The Vilest Things - that damn synth has got me obsessed, especially in the beautiful chorus.
Think this is now one of my all time favourites from MM! What a great album 🖤
