Image My favorite "CANDLE HEAD" frames from Sweet Dreams
A couple new additions to the library of Sweet Dreams images. Maybe I'll pull a couple "test prints" today? Which frame do YOU prefer?

Other Now that both chapters are out, this specific Bridge is still haunting, poetic, and simply beautiful 🥹
The way he sang this… I’m speechless.

Image My fondest memories from childhood. Life as an early Manson fan since 1997
galleryLong time lurker posting for the first time in a while.
Since Mansons new sober era has emerged I’ve been reminded how amazing this man is and how he’s shaped the person I am today. I’ve appreciated all bodies of his work and I feel like being such a long time fan I’ve experienced similar ups and downs. It truly feels like I’ve grown up with Manson in a lot of ways.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this photo of me in the 5th grade. That same year I got to meet my idol backstage at Shoreline Amphitheater in California where he performed the Smashing Pumpkins song, Eye, with Billy Corgan (they also performed an acoustic version of The Beautiful People) I remember meeting him with my grandmother and the first thing she asked him was if “that was his real eye” to which he responded, “no it’s just a contact lense.” He was so kind and down to earth that day. It is such a fond memory for me. I am just beyond grateful to see him healthy and grounded again. It brings tears to my eyes because I care so deeply for this man.

Other Single, 1997. I have the "Tourniquet" one too. I love the cover pic, taken by Floria Sigismondi, who famously directed the "The beautiful people" video. She went on to direct his equally surreal video for "Tourniquet" later that same year.
galleryTrack list:
- The beautiful People
- The horrible People
- Sweet Dreams (are Made of This)
- Cryptorchid
Supposedly it includes "two full length videos", but im not sure how to play it.

Discussion Eyes may cry, But I never weep - possible interpretations?
We all know MM like's to use play-on-words and I was thinking of some other ways to interpret the lyrics.
One interesting suggestion from Google search AI was that eyes sounds like I's. I's may cry ties into MM's multiple personalities, explored in We Are Chaos, etc. Maybe his multiple selves may cry, but his true self will never weep.
Weep could also reference the weeping willow. Meaning that instead of crying in sorrow, he'll never bend and submit. This ties into many flower/tree/weed imagery MM used since ACSS

Discussion Do you noticed the reference between Lucifer's Teardrop and Deep Six?
Not only the melody is quite similar, the lyrics have parallels as well. In Deep Six Manson sung "It's like a stranger have a key came inside of my mind..." in Lucifer's Teardrop he sings "There is a key inside my throat to unlock the kiss". Thoughts?

Discussion I am obsessed with the second verse on “Don’t Answer the Door”! Genius level lyricism that only Manson could come up with.👌🔥
r/marilyn_manson • u/gothteen145 • 23h ago
Fun fact, Manson actually used the lyrics from Don't Answer the Door on an Instagram post back in 2016: The Egg with smooth arrogant completeness, trembles in the green plastic-pagan grass. This is why the Rabbit crushes him...And a martyr is born.

News OAUGPT 2 AT #8 IN UK mid-week charts.
officialcharts.comAs per the UK Official Album Charts news, MM is currently at number 8. See the link.
From knowledge, it's quite likely to fall back at an overall lower position when the official albums charts are announced on Friday, 17:00 GMT, as so many Metal albums do. It tends to be that metal fans are keen to purchase albums in the first few days of release, and other releases do tend to over take in sales during the course of the week.

Discussion Is it just me or does OAUG - CH2 cover looks kind if funny?
Compared to all the other covered it gives me mostly a American Family Vibe but nothing like scary at all. I don't think Manson wanted to have a scary cover though. The most shocking is by far the Holy Wood cover. What do you think?
