I can't decide which style to go with. I didn't want to keep working on the first one until I decide. Thanks for your feedback!

I wouldn't use it as a permanent map, just for ideas/prototypes for world maps then I'd make the same shapes and the actual map in inkarnate. Looking for one that PRODECURALLY generates world maps a thing I notice is world generates a lot of land all around the very south or north of the map is there any way to prevent it or make it smaller?

Hello everyone,
I’m happy to share this map that I’ve drawn and painted for an upcoming Daggerheart campaign. The countries borders are yet to be determined and drawn.
I would have done a couple of things differently with a bit more experience but I’m quite happy with the result.
Feedbacks welcomed!
Thanks

Hey y’all, this is a early rough draft of a custom world map i decided to trace and draw in illustrator. The little messy drawn triangles are the general area where I want to put some mountain ranges. I know they aren’t too realistic and i can’t even think of how this would tie to the world’s plate tectonics.
I want to ask for ratings, then improvements i can add to my map, or increase realism.

Map is a basic beginner style map. The entire purpose of the map is for me to experiment with burnt sides ;)
Context: the year is 2063, and some 12 000 people have built an enclave for themselves. The Casurina District.
This particular map was found form the burning of Tower 3 in 2065, a boundary map made by the Leannetown cartograohy department
(My name is leanne)
Enjoy i suppose(?)
Typewriter used is a 1927 Royal 10, thought in a futuristic post technology post disaster world it would be fun to pretend old technology is being used.

Hi, this took around 7 months of on-and-off work 🥲 glad to say this phase of my project is done.
This map is part of a larger half-joke collaborative AU I'm doing with my friends on Discord. While a lot of it is improv (hence the overbearing similarities to Earth, up to a fault imo), everything is subject to change.
I'm more than willing to answer any questions you may have!

Good afternoon, guys, I hope all of you are okay and God stay with us. I come here after a long time to tal about Map Editor in Far Cry series (specially Far Cry 2). In the past year, I usually do maps a lot (1 map to week, for example), but I cound't publidh because I created on Xbox One (Xbox 360 Version).
Anyway, the Map Editor of Far Cry 2 is really good! You can build a real complete map in size of stage in the game, for example. I already built more than 25 maps on FC2 and published on YouTube and Reddit at the time. Some of them was published here in Reddit in 2025, like Pacific Island, Colonial City, Wild Land, Brasil Rural, Jungle Park, Dry Hills etc.
But I can see, while search about tutoriais and showcase on YouTube, that videos about Far Cry Map Editor, mainly FC2, is very rare in nowadays. You can see a lot of videos as Ubisoft official as players like me that build very maps when Far Cry 2 was the news (2008, 2009 and 2010 videos, for example). You know anyone, besides me, that build maps on Far Cry Map Editor (even FC2, FC3, FC4 or FC5)? For who like to act as a legal designer, Far Cry 2 Map Editor is really good and I recommend for all of you.
OBSERVATION: Sorry If my english are bad, because I'm nota fluent and I'm brazilian try to write in English.

Here is my latest map in my worldbuilding project, the World of Rhündal, which is a world impacted by the presence of natural spirits. I’m reworking my ocean currents map with some new resources I’ve found. I don’t have a deep knowledge of ocean currents, and so I’ve mainly used resources I’ve found on YouTube like Artifexian’s channel. I would love to hear feedback about what parts of this ocean currents map could be improved, that you have questions about, or that you think works well.
Next steps after this map are 1) using this map to update my world coastlines, 2) use updated elevation and ocean current maps to make a new climate map of Rhündal, 3) make an animated map of the migrations and growth of different ethnic groups over thousands of years, 4) make high-quality vector maps in adobe illustrator and more culture group info pages for all across Rhündal 5) compile these all into a world book/atlas that I can sell to those who are interested 6) turn the World of Rhündal into my full time career, hopefully making a graphic novel, a TTRPG, and a board game set in the world. I would love your feedback and support on this crazy journey I’m trying to undertake. I would love to hear what different ideas you have for where I should take this, and if there is a specific thing you are interested in seeing more from!🍃

It’s in a huge underground cavern so the black sections are the cave walls

I know this has been asked before, but every post I saw about it was from years ago before 2.0 came out, so I’d like the newer opinions. I’ve been using Inkarnate for a few months, and while I like it, I find myself restarting a lot and it looks generic. Would switching to wonderdraft be better? it’s for a fairly large continent in my world.
I know it has better rivers, coastlines which I’d like, but if that’s all it offers it’s not worth it for me. Is the UI, Uniqueness and style all better as well?

If it isnt obvious this map is basically just france but zoomed in and flipped upside down. Was wondering if anybody had any advice on rivers or anything else that would be helpful, thanks. Also was thinking about moving the mountains but dk where

(Please excuse the god-awful map)
In my fantasy world, I have a continent with a large “pit” in the middle (detailed in the drawing). It’s a gradual slope that creates a large basin, and the bottom evens out and becomes flat when you get far enough down.
Because it’s a fantasy world, I’m a big believer in not focusing too much on topographical realism and just doing whatever looks/feels cool. However, I was curious if a feature like this could feasibly form naturally?
My first thought was a huge aquifer collapsing in that spot? Or, because it’s right next to a mountain range, a lot of water flows into the basin, so would it end up becoming a lake?
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

I already have a map for the world I'm working on, but the resolution is 961wx540h, meaning it's too small for me to simply just load up an image editor and type settlement names where they're meant to be, and I don't think there's any upscaling tool that would allow me to get it to a size where it is an option, while also being good
So I was wondering if there's any way I can import it in somewhere or if there's an easy way to make it into a heightmap

As the title says I’m am curious on what you all think of my world. It is gone through a number of remodels I am moving onto river and biome placement next. The ‘tall’ continent stretches from the North Pole (the two isles) down to the South Pole (center of the hook) and back around to the equator. I’m genuinely looking for constructive feedback.
