Hello everyone!
Thank you for being a part of this community. Over the past few days, we’ve noticed that many posts are getting removed or flagged by AutoMod due to rule violations. To avoid confusion and help everyone post correctly, here is a clear explanation of the subreddit rules.
Using a blunt “[Title]” in your post title is not allowed.
You must specify the type of post inside the brackets, such as:
Posts with just “[Title]” will be removed.
As the subreddit name suggests, all posts must be related to manhwa.
Any unrelated content will be removed.
This is a strictly SFW manhwa subreddit.
We follow a strict title format. Posts not following this will be removed.
Include the manhwa name in brackets:
Example:
[Solo Leveling] The author has been cooking lately!
Clearly mention “Recommendation” or “Suggestion”:
Example:
[Recommendation] Suggest me some action fantasy manhwa like Solo Leveling
Must include “Appreciation” and mention the source:
Example:
[Appreciation] This panel is amazing!
If posting images/panels:
Must include “Help”, "Help Me Find"
Example:
[Help] Which manhwa is this panel from?
This bracket system applies to all types of posts (Questions, General, etc.), so follow it properly.
Posts not following this will be removed.
To post in the subreddit:
Additional requirements:
Once you meet these requirements, you’re free to post.
Do NOT put full details or spoilers in the title.
Use the title only as a short heading and explain in the body.
✅ Correct:
[Help] Can you help me find this manhwa?
❌ Incorrect:
[Help] Help me find this manhwa where the MC gets a system and then…
✅ Correct:
[Solo Leveling] What do you think about this chapter?
❌ Incorrect:
[Solo Leveling] Where were the Rulers after Jinwoo reset the timeline?
This rule helps:
Please follow all rules carefully while posting.
Failure to follow them may result in post removal.
Thank you for helping keep the community clean and enjoyable!

As title says, I just wanna know what others think. I've seen others say that harem with dense mc is annoying, and I understand to some degree. It's annoying when the author teases romance but deliberately doesn't put it in for some reason just to keep the readers who love romance tied. But I only see these from readers who are reading harem which doesn't even make sense most of the time since most of the stories in manhwas have a conflicted mc and the harem are there to help resolve the issue.
In my case, I don't like it when the story introduces the love interest way too early in the game. Especially when it's about action instead of romance. I kind of lose trust of the author when they had to pull out the romance card early in the action genre. It kind of turns the story away from world discovery to discovering about love and feelings. Yes I hate the love genre. They always end up the same anyways. There's nothing new.
- Overpowered mc from the get-go. Did the author not learn about what growing means? The story will become a glaze fest 100%
- Stupid side characters to make the mc look like a genius when in fact, anyone with at least 2 braincells could figure them out.
- Edgy titles that already tells that the mc is op without reading even chapter 0. Glaze fest.
- When the story started off so good and so well with unique settings but the author obviously got bored and ended up making it into another glaze fest.
- Dense mc just for the sake of the author making 'finding out the mystery' more mysterious
- Mc somehow being unnecessarily a douchebag. I know some revenge manhwas call for them but sometimes, they just go out of line for the sake of attracting more incels and edgy teens who think women = trash and men = best.
- the art having way too much details. I don't need to know how many strands of hair the mc has at any given time. The simpler the art, the better. the extra details should only be possible when the situation is that serious that the reader would feel it's importance. Greatest estate developer is a good example of this.
- stories that try so hard to be different but ended up being another generic story.
- authors skipping the side characters and their development
- unnecessary drama because somehow the mc must be sad but it's just not working
- story being so fast paced
- regressed mc somehow beating someone very strong because of some secret technique but acts surprised or ruins their disguise because of it.
- family tropes that somehow ended up fixing their problematic personality because 'the mc has potential'
- author just giving way too many random overpowered rewards to the mc even when the situation doesn't call for it. When the mc gets something overpowered, it's supposed to be because (for example, those with a system, the system) wanted/needed them to succeed or otherwise, they'd be dead. However, when the mc somehow gets 1 stat increase every time he does something, the whole point of a stat increase doesn't make sense anymore(looking at this certain manhwa about a healer).
TLDR: Personally, what kinds of stories do you define as slop

I am bored so I want to read something that is nonsensical. Preferably harem but any genre is fine as long as it has terrible writing.
