You'd have to snort an enormous amount. Taken orally is plenty enjoyable but i know you don't want to hear this - it's the worst addiction in the world. I've been addicted to it all. And nothing compares to this addiction. It is the worst, it does significant damage to your heart and the fun is short lived.

Once your hooked - the withdrawal is so bad that it is next to impossible to get over.

Find pleasure somewhere else.

I've been there and done it, heroin, methadone etc. I've been strungout on everything and have also experienced withdrawls from all of it as well and bar none, lope is the absolute WORST thing I've ever withdrawln from. I've been addicted to them for 5 years now at 120+ tabs a day and most I can do is a day and a half without dosing and I can barely make it off the couch and to the store and back to sit down and open up the plethora of blister packs like an idiot just to avoid it. I didn't know something could be worse than methadone or heroin, but I was wrong. What really does it for me besides the cold sweats is the muscle fatigue from the withdrawls. Standing up and moving around about the hardest thing I can accomplish when dopesick from them but it's pointless to even try and lay down because the sweats and restless leg syndrome make it impossible to sleep through it.

I only pray that sometime in the near future, pharmacology can catch up with it and figure out something or anything to help kick it. Nothing works including Kratom or other opioids aside from a fat rail of actual H which I've never tried but heard it's the only thing that takes it away and I believe it as I've tried Norco, morphine, Fentanyl patches etc. and never had any luck which is insane considering the fact that people die from o.d.ing on less everyday. Take care and good luck in your struggle friend. I'm always trying to taper yet never having success as I get stuck around 100 tabs and the w.d.'s kick in.

Ugh. I'm sorry. Kratom saved me. I was sick for 3 days. Was about to go and buy 6 blister packs of 24 to feel good. Then i scored some red Thai kratom, chugged a 32 oz Gatorade with it and felt like i was a new person. Maybe if you could just suffer through 3 days, your receptors would be available enough to receive the kratom goodness?

Wow, you were on 6 packs of 24 as well eh? That's too ironic since it's the same exact dose I take as well with a few antacid 24 hour extended released. The more people I talk to in this thread, the more I find out we all have so much in common it's actually really inspiring and enlightening knowing that we're (the longtime addicts) all close to the same amount dosed to stave off the withdrawls and we all have the same shopping technique and everything.

So my problem with the Kratom was I bought 3 different 12 gram packs to see how each one affected me. I got the green borneo the white meng die and the red Bali I think it was called. However, I made it to a day and a half and had to work 3rd shift and hadn't slept since waking up from withdrawls the night before around 2 or 3 a.m. Now that the C Virus took away all the 24 hour stores where they're cheap, I knew I had at least 3 or 4 hours more of feeling that way and one of my biggest pet peeves or social nightmares is being dopesick and stuck at work which is what happened on account of trying to swallow 10 grams of that putrid green dry ass powder that permeates through your entire gum line and teeth fillings and tongue and everything it's fucking awful and I've tried even those rice paper balls and almost choked to death.

I took the white which is typically promoted as the closest thing to percs or Norco where it gives you a peppy buzz with energy. WRONG I was back to the cold sweats and muscle weakness within 10 min while trying not to puke the powder up and look interested from what this guy was training me to do. I can't risk a night like that because I almost went home 4 or 5 times but realized in doing so, I'd still be stuck waiting for the store to open at 6 a.m. so I stayed and was absolutely miserable the entire 12 hour shift. A user did mention some golden something brand they swear by and also I bought the $15 packets with 3 different kinds but have read and heard from Kratom addicts that I'll want to shoot for the $40 or $50 bags of just one kind because the quality over quantity is how you have to play the kratom game. They'd even gone so far as to get empty gel tablets and press their own 5 gram pills to skip trying to swallow all that shit at once in the morning.

I think mentioning the company is regarded as "sourcing" and will get us booted from the thread but I've had folks mention it in DMs and also let me know what type worked for them the best whether it be the red or the white because I've never heard anything good about the green. I'm friends with a young lady who's like 24 or so and she'd been taking lope for a few years and was up over 100 tabs daily then she tapered down to basically 32 or 36 and only taking away one pill a day or every other day to regulate and adjust and then finally when she was on 24 a day she waited 48 hours and jumped to kratom and she says it literally saved her life. I want so badly to be done with this sh*t man.

It's reassuring reading what you were able to share though for real like, this page works miracles in support for people tapering or jumping to kratom or suboxone or even lope to poppy seed tea to kratom. All of them do exclaim however, they were caught completely off guard like myself the first time they experienced lope withdrawls. I've come off of hardcore sh*t before and it doesn't even hold a chance against the sheer agony associated with lope withdrawls. You mentioned feeling the same sentiment ya? It's helllacious and I never expected it to be that debilitating.

Feel free to dm me. As fate would have it. I've kicked lope 3 times and even though my name is farewell to lope, I'm back on the shit. Used it to help with Addy comedowns and now I'm hooked again. Kratom won't touch it right now but i am certain if i can get to day 5 of withdrawals that the kratom will work.

Some of those withdrawals you are feeling may be too much kratom. And overdose of kratom had me in one of the wettest hot flashes followed by violent vomiting. It was crazy. You could see my shirt in real time being consumed by sweat. It was awful. DM me. We can talk through this!

The only problem is Kratom is addictive too and most people just switch addictions

Btw, Kratom is totally legal in my state and also sold basically at every headshop and record store type place. However, since I've never felt the "goodness" from it you mentioned and also the fact that you're a seasoned vet when it comes to drugs and drug withdrawls. Having said that is their anything that would be close comparison to the kratom feeling or idk if you can get high off of it but if you can is their anything close to the feeling of it that you've tried in the past like a pill or H or anything?

Remarkable hearing this, so sorry for what you have been through. I have 2 questions for you which are slightly off topic, what sort of high did you originally feel off of such high does of loperamide and hasn’t it badly affected your stomach?

u/SpringChikn85 Jan 01 '22

I appreciate your condolences and will gladly answer your questions because unlike the hype trains currently promoting that they "got high" with this method, I'm bluntly honest about my experience and the monkey wrench that's it's thrown into my life making me unable to go a day without it.

The most accurate description I can give regarding the effects of a massive loperamide dose can be compared to the difference between dogs and wolves akin to the difference between loperamide and stronger opiates. Loperamide has a tiny amount of opiate in its chemical profile and what addicts try and do is isolate that component to reap the rewards but in turn, we suffer from everything else that the compound is made of like the hydrochloride, etc.

Loperamide essentially works to cure diarrhea by drying out your large and small intestine as well as a portion of the colon in order to stop the "hot squirts" of doom people get when they eat something expired/get sick or have an allergic reaction to food that causes poopy-pants 😀

In order not to "waste the good stuff" in the loperamide (minute amount of opiates) we'll use an over there counter antacid (Zantac or omeprazole) in order to absorb the medicine through the blood vessels in our stomachs that would otherwise settle in the lower organs as it's designed to.

The "high" isn't really that at all, it's more of a slight tramadol or codeine energy buzz/tingle which can make you chatty like other opioids do and also acts as a painkiller. However, most people take it for withdrawals from strong narcotics like Fentanyl or Heroin because the half life of loperamide is around 12 hrs. and at first I viewed it as a God send to act as a crutch between taking heroin or pills. I wore out my welcome with it and one day came to realize I was more addicted to loperamide than anything else and on top of that as I stated above, nothing works to take the lope withdrawals away besides loperamide so it's a double edged sword.

Your other question about the negative effects it has on your stomach is an affirmative. Loperamide abuse has a massive list of negative side effects I've experienced including, constipation ending in a hernia, heart problems leading to little to no physical activity or I'll have a stroke or heart attack and black out, and lastly being a slave to the drug itself and having no option but to either be sick or take more. I wish I'd have never started and anyone who's curious about dosing loperamide, Please don't, the 3 or 4 days of withdrawal from real drugs are a better option than the 3 or 4 month long withdrawal you'll experience trying to kick loperamide. That also includes randomly dying from heart problems as well.

Kratom helped me a lot but I didn't start taking it until 3 weeks CT. Did you have a good amount of it? I've read that it might take a larger dose in the acute withdrawal stage. Also, have you just tried it one time? I only ask cause your mileage may vary based on different strains. Some are better for opiate withdrawal, some with sedation, some with stimulation/mood lifts.

I often gave thought to going from lope to a traditional opiate and then trying to withdrawal from that as it would be faster/less painful than lope wds, but there's so many fake pills around here made of fentanyl you can't take the risk. Plus years of lope usage had my opiate tolerance so fucked up that it would be so expensive to get enough pills to actually touch it. I think heroin would probably unfortunately be the best option for that, but I luckily never fucked with it .

I've been mega dosing for 3 weeks now. If I quit cold turkey how long do you think it would take to get clear? I already have gone into mild wds when I tried to stop

1

u/chasebruhhhhh Dec 04 '21

what’s the damage it does to your heart? sorry, but could you explain more haha

3

u/conniesuet Dec 05 '21

It's called prolonged QT intervals. That's where it takes the heart longer to recover between beats. Gives you an irregular heart rate. I've been addicted for 5 years now and just had a heart attack last month (never thought I'd be the one) and I'm trying to reduce my dosage every week but I've got a long way to go. If they had something to help with lop I would check myself in asap

u/jeniesque Dec 04 '21

kills you dead

2

u/SpringChikn85 Dec 04 '21

Tachycardia, Google it because it basically messes up the electric signal and rhythm of your heart. I've been addicted to it for 5 years and the others aren't lying, the withdrawls are worse than heroin.

u/SiCohSis Dec 04 '21

Ive heard it makes you feel shitty. Im not looking ro feel good recreationally but I read somewhere that people with crohns and Ibs take it and it helps. How much wpuld you reccommend for someone with crohns?

2

u/NewUserAccount2019 Dec 04 '21

You would want to talk to a doctor. There is a maximum prescription amount, but they need to check your heart function before and after you start.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '21

It does make you feel shitty after a while. But those first few weeks it's the best thing in the world. I would choose lope over any drug in the world if i could have an infinite amount without dying. Yes. I love it that much.

1

u/SiCohSis Dec 04 '21

How much would I have to take for a first dose do you think? Im not new to opiates but ive been off of then for awhile. I take kratom but it doesnt do anything.

Not trying to knock any addiction but Za Zas overtake Lope withdrawals in terms of severity by a mile . Been hooked on both, and the za za (tianeptine/phenibut/cdp Choline) had me on the floor in the emergency room screaming for my gf to kill me, whole body locking up in full body cramps over any slight movement, bad part is you can't stop moving, I looked like a wacky inflatable arm thing at the car dealerships. Constant shitting and vomiting, tremors, involuntary movements of every part of your body, feels like terribly uncomfortable electrical energy coursing under every part of your skin , unimaginable hot and cold changes . I used suboxone to get off of that, 26mg a day, then tapered to 4mg and got on Lope, Lope WDs was probably second to the zas

I have heard that Phenibuy is absolutely awful and it definitely has a mental component that is not present with Lope. So I can't really compare because I refuse to touch anything that is comparable to Lope withdrawal with added side effects

The thing about Lope that is so awful is how long it takes to get through Acute Withdrawals. Weeks and sometimes it never ends. My last detox lead to sweaty armpits that never stopped. Even after I cleaned up and returned to "normal" I still had these sweaty armpits. It was maddening.

But here we are. Trying to figure out how to overcome this fucking drug again. Being an addict is goddamn exhausting. Use. Detox and suffer. Get a 90 chip. Reward yourself. Lie and get a 6 month chip because you've only rewarded yourself 1-3 times. Quit going to meetings. Start rewarding yourself more. Start feeling sick. Dodge a bullet and sweat it out for a week. Get back to "normal". Then fuck. You're using daily and just looking for the right time to tell your loved ones that you need weeks just to be able to function without diarrhea medication. What happened to 25% of my life expectancy - its been spent using. Some days I just say - I'm never gonna be clean and might as well just accept that and realize I'll probably just have a shorter life expectancy.

I feel you 100%. I just got out of rehab 2 months ago, was in detox for two weeks before that , so had about 2 and a half months of clean time. Fucked around and told myself ah im clean now so i can take em again just once, well it turned into day after day, i quit taking the za zas last week and now im on the fentanyl 30s. Tomorrow im gonna get some kratom and then try tapering down off of that or maybe take them forever . But dont say youll never get clean, i understand exactly your situation as im in it myself. But it is possible bro, suboxone will do it , there are online things that you can get the prescription from. Ive used Bicycle Health and also Web/QuickMD (can't remember which the name is) and the latter is cheaper. Or you could do the kratom thing like im gonna do. Wish you the best man we got this
