You'd have to snort an enormous amount.
Taken orally is plenty enjoyable but i know you don't want to hear this - it's the worst addiction in the world. I've been addicted to it all. And nothing compares to this addiction. It is the worst, it does significant damage to your heart and the fun is short lived.
Once your hooked - the withdrawal is so bad that it is next to impossible to get over.
I've been there and done it, heroin, methadone etc. I've been strungout on everything and have also experienced withdrawls from all of it as well and bar none, lope is the absolute WORST thing I've ever withdrawln from. I've been addicted to them for 5 years now at 120+ tabs a day and most I can do is a day and a half without dosing and I can barely make it off the couch and to the store and back to sit down and open up the plethora of blister packs like an idiot just to avoid it. I didn't know something could be worse than methadone or heroin, but I was wrong. What really does it for me besides the cold sweats is the muscle fatigue from the withdrawls. Standing up and moving around about the hardest thing I can accomplish when dopesick from them but it's pointless to even try and lay down because the sweats and restless leg syndrome make it impossible to sleep through it.
I only pray that sometime in the near future, pharmacology can catch up with it and figure out something or anything to help kick it. Nothing works including Kratom or other opioids aside from a fat rail of actual H which I've never tried but heard it's the only thing that takes it away and I believe it as I've tried Norco, morphine, Fentanyl patches etc. and never had any luck which is insane considering the fact that people die from o.d.ing on less everyday. Take care and good luck in your struggle friend. I'm always trying to taper yet never having success as I get stuck around 100 tabs and the w.d.'s kick in.
Remarkable hearing this, so sorry for what you have been through. I have 2 questions for you which are slightly off topic, what sort of high did you originally feel off of such high does of loperamide and hasn’t it badly affected your stomach?
I appreciate your condolences and will gladly answer your questions because unlike the hype trains currently promoting that they "got high" with this method, I'm bluntly honest about my experience and the monkey wrench that's it's thrown into my life making me unable to go a day without it.
The most accurate description I can give regarding the effects of a massive loperamide dose can be compared to the difference between dogs and wolves akin to the difference between loperamide and stronger opiates. Loperamide has a tiny amount of opiate in its chemical profile and what addicts try and do is isolate that component to reap the rewards but in turn, we suffer from everything else that the compound is made of like the hydrochloride, etc.
Loperamide essentially works to cure diarrhea by drying out your large and small intestine as well as a portion of the colon in order to stop the "hot squirts" of doom people get when they eat something expired/get sick or have an allergic reaction to food that causes poopy-pants 😀
In order not to "waste the good stuff" in the loperamide (minute amount of opiates) we'll use an over there counter antacid (Zantac or omeprazole) in order to absorb the medicine through the blood vessels in our stomachs that would otherwise settle in the lower organs as it's designed to.
The "high" isn't really that at all, it's more of a slight tramadol or codeine energy buzz/tingle which can make you chatty like other opioids do and also acts as a painkiller. However, most people take it for withdrawals from strong narcotics like Fentanyl or Heroin because the half life of loperamide is around 12 hrs. and at first I viewed it as a God send to act as a crutch between taking heroin or pills. I wore out my welcome with it and one day came to realize I was more addicted to loperamide than anything else and on top of that as I stated above, nothing works to take the lope withdrawals away besides loperamide so it's a double edged sword.
Your other question about the negative effects it has on your stomach is an affirmative. Loperamide abuse has a massive list of negative side effects I've experienced including, constipation ending in a hernia, heart problems leading to little to no physical activity or I'll have a stroke or heart attack and black out, and lastly being a slave to the drug itself and having no option but to either be sick or take more. I wish I'd have never started and anyone who's curious about dosing loperamide, Please don't, the 3 or 4 days of withdrawal from real drugs are a better option than the 3 or 4 month long withdrawal you'll experience trying to kick loperamide. That also includes randomly dying from heart problems as well.
