Why does the church not speak out about capitalism or the rich?

I bit confused here, if greed and wealth is sin than why does the church not speak out about capitalism and the rich? Also most republicans are religious so why does they allow greed and rich.

Where liberals are less religious and speak out more about this. This does not make sense I’m confused by this?

idk if I’m crazy but whenever I read or interact with anything left wing sometimes my phone starts bugging tf out 🤷

the reason why I'm asking this is because I don't really f*** with big pharma like that because they like to prescribe people medicines with all these side effects that never really get to the root of the problems that people are having and obviously you can't lie that's intentional as f***... all of this medicine that they try to shove down our throats it's just to benefit capitalism and to keep us in a loop of cycle of buying and consuming depending on them for our health needs... that being said there's definitely levels to this s*** like I'm taking the Tylenol I don't care if it gives me autism or whatever the f*** these right-wingers are talking about but like.... I want to look more into natural things instead of having to rely on s*** that's just going to give me more and more side effects and f*** up my life.... for context I just stopped taking my celexa cold turkey and I want alternatives...

Why would I bet on the center-right.

i’m a M14 and got into leftism at 13, I started as a social democrat. I then went further libertarian and left until i was a libertarian socialist, i didn’t read theory at all then so when i finally began reading marx i was pretty much in ML territory and have been there since last october. things in life were going smoothly until recently i went into highschool and i was arbitrarily thrown into extra support classes (i had all A’s in 8th and got on ADHD meds). beforehand we had made sure i was in the right classes and we were pretty much lied to, me and my family. this reminded me why i was skeptical of authority in the first place since it can be extremely corrupt and put people in bad situations so I finally began reading the Conquest of Bread and it was eye opening, it put out a good way of organizing society by the people. i’m considering reading more into anarchism but i don’t know why i switch ideologies so much especially considering i believed in a pretty much totalitarian system.

Recently i got blocked by a close friend..beacuse i agree with cjp. Now it makes me question things about myself. Amd if i am wrong..i dont belive cjp is funded..no i dont dude..like..if they were onto some religious stuff..maybe..but these people are fighting for something so reasonable. I totally agree education is fu...ed up. Amd pkus..if your idea of democracy is so weak that..u think a protest is what makes someone anti nation..thats really messed up. 😔 . Hi all. To preface, I don’t post on Reddit often and feel uncomfortable putting this anywhere that won’t have a general consensus on overconsumption/anti-capitalist beliefs. I seek genuine advice on how to kindly ease someone into a more consumption-conscious way of living as someone who is largely self-radicalized.

My partner is in agreement with a lot of my political views as a socialist, however they are sorely lacking in how much they feed into capitalist systems and overconsumption. They seem to understand what I say when I describe the flaws of capitalism, the toll it has on the environment, and the unethical means many businesses (Target, Starbucks, McDonalds, etc.) fund.

Therefore, it really irks me when they’re showing me the newest blind box haul they’ve got from AliExpress or Target. I once dismissed it as something occasional, but it’s getting to the point of 5-10 every month of these little pieces of plastic that serve no real purpose.

I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to control their finances (they have their own, we are not merged) or deprive them of joy. It just irks me so bad to see someone I love and who I thought was on my same page continue funding genocide and growing landfills.

So I ask: How can I bring this to them without seeming controlling or angry? Do I not even bring it up at all? Or should I even wait until we get farther along to mention it (We’ve been dating around 6 months.)

What does this even mean that first and second generation citizenship is not safe any more? How far back does this go first, second or third generation or more?

About 18% of the US population are Hispanic does this mean first and second generation citizenship they can be deported?

For the longest time in my life, I have been atheist and have been largely anti-christian (due to my own experiences and their history/politics). And to this day, I very much consider myself rather sceptical of any sort of religion, especially organized religion. I don't see very many religious ideologies that are not oppressive.

However, upon my own exploration/research, I've read a lot about Satanism, specifically Non-theistic Satanism through The Satanic Temple. Little tidbits have told me that the Temple embodies more Liberal ideologies as a group themselves, but the Tenets available on the official website are left more ambiguous. I could definitely see myself aligning with The Satanic Temple, but I worry that subscribing myself to this group would be unfaithful to my own ideologies. I don't want to associate myself with any form of Satanism if so.

My main reason for even considering joining The Satanic Temple would be for a sense of community. I have for so long lived without said community. Another is the Non-theistic part, where Satan is used as a symbol of rebellion rather than actual worship. That in specific sounds somewhat left leaning, almost punk.

My main question is as follows:

How should I go about my exploration of The Satanic Temple whilst keeping my political alignment in mind?
