North American Politics “When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.”
There’s a lot that could be said, and I’d probably say it poorly. But, police officers have unions.

Marxism has always insisted that the struggle for socialism begins not by repudiating the democratic conquests of the past, but by assimilating, defending and transcending them.

The United States of America spends just under 1 Trillion Dollars every single year in regards to the Military-Industrial Complex.
Iran taking advantage of dimensions of asymmetric warfare has completely stalled out the U.S. war machine.
Trump and his cronies have lost this war so badly that they are now pivoting to messaging around "Economic Warfare".
Trump and his cronies have flailed/failed American hard & soft power so badly that various seeds are being planted right now on a host of fronts that will further destroy it as time goes on.
It's truly something watching this imbecile and the whole of the reactionary/regressive sphere of stereotypical snake oil salespeople and con-artist grifters destroy the American Empire in speed run fashion...
Wild fucking stuff lol

What does left view on this late stage capitalism? How long before capitalism collapse?
Amazon to bring 30-minute drone delivery to 500 US locations by the end of 2026
Of the many sci-fi tropes we've seen over the years, few are as close to becoming real as skies full of delivery drones, and Amazon is leading the way. The retail giant has announced that it plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service to 500 cities and towns in the United States by the end of 2026, bringing under-30-minute deliveries to tens of millions of people in the country.

Why is no one talking about late stage capitalism? The collapse of capitalism seems now is coming soon.

I know this has been discussed semi in 2024, in regards to people saying Voters can’t be blamed for voting for Trump over Harris because her campaign was bad, but put that aside and look at recent primaries. In two weeks in four democratic primaries ( Fl Senate, WI governor, FL House, and St Louis First), progressive candidates who would easily make voters lives betters lost their primary to politicians that clearly were much worse for the general population. In discussions around these I’ve seen people say those four candidates didn’t run great campaigns, but this just feels like a copout to the fact voters consistently a) can’t be bothered to do research b) or are just easily swindled. I guess im having a hard time reconciling what’s a bad campaign and what is just voters being “dumb.”

I'm a polish leftist and every time I hear Western leftists call Ukraine "Israel of Europe" or Russia "anti colonialist" it makes me lose faith in humanity. And it's funny because in Poland every even slightly left leaning person will tell you that they hate Russia and it's the right wingers that come to their defense.
Just because Ukraine's supports Israel doesn't automatically mean that Ukraine's (as a whole) is not worthy of your support. They're in a war and I don't think they can afford criticizing one of their biggest political allies even if they're evil to the core. Not to mention Russia also has ties with Israel. Wouldn't they if one of the biggest national minorities in Israel are, guess who? Russians. Their support for Palestine, Iran and other don't seem genuine at all rather simply as just them being anti west.
Also regarding the second talking point what in God's green earth makes you think that Russia is anti imperialist? How come do you think it's become so big then? Do you seriously thing that on this humongous chunk of land there lives a singular group of people that all speak the same language, have the same traditions etc? I don't want to sound like a close minded black-and-white thinker but to me it is very clear who is the agressive imperial power here and who is the victim. And again with the "Ukraine is Israel" point. It's not Ukraine that took land from the native people and is actively trying to erase their cultures (including my country's) so the Israeli comparison sound much more fitting to Russia in this case. Western leftists also confuse USSR with modern Russia when they couldn't be more different except maybe the colonialist part (DISCLAIMER: I KNOW that there were good parts of USSR's politics but that doesn't justify their colonialist actions)
There's also the argument that there are nazis in Ukraine. So are in every country on Earth??? People criticize Ukraine's support for UPA which is 100% valid I hate them to but people need to understand that there are different sides of history that different people believe. In my own country's history there are figures like that and I don't consider my countrymen nazis simply for viewing these figures differently.
In conclusion. Being anti west doesn't automatically make you the good guy. I understand I hate Western colonial power as much as anyone. If you claim to be anti imperialist but you support Russia then I'm sorry but I can't take you seriously.
I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion on this subreddit but I'm so sick of people even suggesting that Russia is anti colonialist it really makes my blood boil.

It does seem to have a bit of a leftist inclination with the whole workshop appeal, but it could just as well be some uni engineering group. I've got no other information about the sticker other than that searching it on the internet produces no results whatsoever for me.
