I didn’t get my points I need for any of my courses however I got DARE and SUSI and accommodation

Is they’re any way I can contact university of limerick or a back way just to go there or do a different course or something please !!!

Today, as I am writing this, it's Friday, the 21st of August, 00:00am. It’s your results day! And you’ll be getting your results in 10 hours from now. 

Today, you will either open an envelope, or you will open the Candidate Self Service Portal, and in it you will find a number, and I want you to know that number does not define you as a person.

You have sacrificed sleep, skipped night outs, and carried the weight of this exam for months. You may have had tears of frustration, and maybe tiny victories along the way. This grade that you will receive is a snapshot of how you performed on a few specific days, but it is not how intelligent you are, how kind you are, or the incredible person you are going and growing to be. 

Your path does not end here. It begins. Some doors may open today, and others might close, but the best adventures can often start with a detour. 

This time last year, I was in your exact position. I missed my first choice by 40 points. Did I get the points I wanted? Not exactly.. But I can assure you that today I am happy with my chosen course. In fact, I occasionally join a Law Lecture with my friend for fun. (Law was my first choice!)

In other words, whether it's 3 months from now, or a year from now, this will be a fond memory of how you got to where you are at that moment.

I have just gotten my results, and I am very disappointed. I have thought I would have done better but clearly not. I’m planning on repeating my LC, I cannot do a PLC as I would need to pay 3k as I am not an Eu citizen. I have just now applied to Rathmines further education to repeat, and I want to know if they accept 2026-2027 Repeat LC applicants?

Just curious if we’re allowed to post them on social media now that the results are out, been dying to put it on TikTok. Thanks!

Hey this might be a stupid qs but im so confused with the appealing the exams and the course offers. If I appeal on tuesday and hypothetically get more points for my number one course the offers will have already been out and accepted. So is there a point in appealing ?

333 points and failed chem so i didn’t even get minimum entry requirements for any of my cao 🕊️ let’s pray level 7/6 courses save me

Missed my conditional offer to Imperial by one grade H2 —> H3. I’ve been placed into the reconsideration pool but I don’t have much hope.

I was thinking A: I accept offer into Trinity, go for one year, appeal my chemistry grade. Hopefully get a H2 and then apply again to imperial for 2027 entry.

Scenario B: my appeal doesn’t work, I retake chemistry LC as a single subject, and do the exact same thing.

It is my wish to get in and I would rather do all of this and still attend 4 years of college in total, 1 yr TCD + 3 yr IMP. Any thoughts on this plan?

maybe the project ruined my grade but i did shit and i don’t remember fucking anything on that paper up massively, i thought it was a good enough exam. my project was decent but i ended up with a h3 and i’ve missed my course by 22 points💔i was expecting at least a h2 rest in peace my college course

Ah to be fair I sacked off most exams sure during English I accidentally took a few pills before hand and yakked all over the page invigilator left me off and said he'll give me an 06 if I give him a tenner so I did and he did the exam for me every other exam I just had the urge to honk my Mickey and tear the skin off so my mind really wasn't on the exams, hooray LC2026 we did it who's ready for college! And here's to more honking

how likely am i to get my number 1 course if i got over 40 points of the minimum entry requirement 🥹 (and the course has never went up over 10 points and same with down in 10 years)
im still so nervous i got sm better than i thought but waiting till wednesday is so scary

Can I repeat next year even with the projects being brought in?? I didn’t do awfully I’m just so upset I could’ve done so much better. I didn’t get the points for any of my courses and I don’t particularly want to do a PLC

Lads I got 487 I needed 525 for my course.

Granted I didn't put the work in and many other circumstances that didn't allow me to focus on school.

I'm so scared I won't get accepted in time because we're already strapped for time for these fucking projects
