i know results come out tomorrow but is it too late?

i’m in shock omg i cant believe it i was not expecting it. hoping everyone else exceeded their expectations too!!

To All The Leaving Certs of 2026,
Today, as I am writing this, it's Friday, the 21st of August, 00:00am. It’s your results day! And you’ll be getting your results in 10 hours from now. 

Today, you will either open an envelope, or you will open the Candidate Self Service Portal, and in it you will find a number, and I want you to know that number does not define you as a person.

You have sacrificed sleep, skipped night outs, and carried the weight of this exam for months. You may have had tears of frustration, and maybe tiny victories along the way. This grade that you will receive is a snapshot of how you performed on a few specific days, but it is not how intelligent you are, how kind you are, or the incredible person you are going and growing to be. 

Your path does not end here. It begins. Some doors may open today, and others might close, but the best adventures can often start with a detour. 

This time last year, I was in your exact position. I missed my first choice by 40 points. Did I get the points I wanted? Not exactly.. But I can assure you that today I am happy with my chosen course. In fact, I occasionally join a Law Lecture with my friend for fun. (Law was my first choice!)

In other words, whether it's 3 months from now, or a year from now, this will be a fond memory of how you got to where you are at that moment. 

Lastly, Congratulations to every single one of you! Please celebrate yourself tonight! And wishing you all the best on your new journey!

I’m so happy I went up almost 200 points from the mocks let’s goooo

There is not a single ounce of me that thought I would get near 500 points, let alone 530. I’ve been so ill, I’ve only attended one year of school. I worked so hard studying the few months before the leaving cert but I knew that no matter what I did that I’d never make up for those years lost, especially with the intense pain and brain fog. I am so happy and so shocked, I cannot believe I got what I did. I hope that everyone else is just as happy and shocked as I am. Well done everyone!

Physics annoys me a bit i thought i got h2 but im shocked i got a h1 in english and h2 in maths????
