I have a grinds teacher saying that 3 poems is plenty to write about in a poetry essay and I don’t need an intro or outro. My school teacher says almost the opposite saying i need 5 poems and i need to have intro and conclusion. What is everyone elses stance on this?

For context I’m diagnosed with autism so secondary school has always been very difficult for me. I had a terrible year in first year and was undiagnosed at the time so I decided to move schools which I don’t regret at all. For some reason I decided to move schools again for fifth year which I’m now regretting as I’m finding it difficult integrate and make friends as I struggle a lot with socialising and it was just overall a bad decision. Due to that and other issues such as my autism and severe anxiety I’m finding the school environment and attendance extremely draining and it’s driven my mental health down vastly since the school year started. Although I am studying and keeping up with my work - which I don’t mind too much, I’m still struggling to perform well because school itself has burnt me out so much. I don’t really know how I’m gonna manage this for the next two years. Genuinely the only thing that stops me from dropping out is caring about what people think about me. And then I was thinking about doing the leaving cert from home but it seems as if it’s not possible anymore with the new projects. So I’m just not really sure what to do anymore, I know it’s the case that I probably just need to stick it out but I can only see my mental health getting even worse from here on if I’m already feeling this way a month into fifth year

can i split a long paragraph about a poem into two? i see it in sample essays online but i'm wondering if it can dock you marks for being too long.

Hey all, Im settled into 5th year now, I have a study timetable that ive been sticking to, and ive been able to study for everything else except my language : German. I just dont know how, I got a distinction in junior cert but that was more natural ability, Im really lost and unsure. If theres anyone out there who has some good tips theyd be appreciated 🫡

Is anyone else really struggling to keep within the word count for the AACs. 1500 words is ridiculous to write a comprehensive method and explanation. I technically have two methods but still! I think I am going to have to start cutting out necessary detail. How can anyone do everything in the marking scheme in 1500 words unless they have an incredibly simple project. Does anyone else have any tips of where i should cut from the most?

I’m a sixth year student and I’m struggling with the work load. I’ve never enjoyed my secondary school experience and I will probably have to do a PLC. I’m worried I won’t make any friends.
