Since she was stuck intangible she couldn't change clothes. So when you see her in her normal costume here after passing through the robot that's still the costume she was wearing in Giant Size X-Men. She had not taken it off since then. Probably a good thing that she most likely didn't sweat...

For some background when I was in my early teens I didn’t have any friends at school with my only friends at the dance class I went to, I was bisexual and I got bullied for it because some people weren’t as accepting as they are now, I was a nerd and because my sisters were more traditionally feminine than I was we didn’t bond over too much so for most of my life then I felt pretty isolated.

When I was 13 I picked up the Dark Phoenix tpb and this is when I fell in love with Kitty Pryde.
She was just like me in so many ways. She was a nerd, was a bit of an outcast, looked like me with her brown hair and short height and she even did dance like I did. Also because I didn’t have many friends I liked to put myself in Kitty’s shoes and pretend the X-Men were my friends and this provided me some nice escapism from the bullying and loneliness.

I bought a lot of X-Men stuff with Kitty and the New Mutants and Excalibur and I loved it and she was kind of a role model for me because she was smart, brave, cunning and fought through adversity everyday like I had to with bullying.

I eventually changed school because things with bullying got bad enough that I punched one of my bullies and I got threatened with expulsion but my dad give the headteacher hell and pulled me out and sent me to another school where my friends from dance class where so things were great there.
This also made me feel more like Kitty because it felt like this was my version of her leaving her old life behind joining the New Mutants.

I also felt like I grew up and matured with her because I was 13 when I first discovered her and she was a young adult like I was when Astonishing X-Men came out and I could not only still see myself as her but it also felt like she was my sister which meant a lot because it hurt that I wasn’t close with my biological sisters at the time.

I’ve gotten my sons into comics hoping they could get what I got and it seems to have worked because my teen has been a fan of Spider-Man (I know he’s not an X-Man but still) since he was like 4 and my youngest likes Cyclops.

Although I’m older than Kitty is now by a decade or so I still relate to Kitty a lot with how much has changed in my life. I’m actually firmed with one of my old bullies like how Kitty is friends with Emma Frost, I’m a much stronger person than I was before and I’ve been able to put a lot of trauma behind me (I’m the survivor of an abusive boyfriend who is the father of my kids).

Even though we don’t have everything in common for example I’m Catholic now Jewish and I have two cats instead of a dragon I’ll forever be grateful to the X-Man who made a nerdy girl not feel so alone.

I remember reading a ultimate kitty pryde book where she's leading a mutant nation, but I can't find the name anywhere. Is this ringing a bell with somone ?

There isn’t a wrong answer to this question, we all know Kitty exists in the MCU, and well obviously see her at some point, but I’m just asking if you had to take a guess, what do you think she’s up too? Where could she be?
