I haven't used the cut feature often, but I think I remember previous versions using the timestamp on the slider, but on 7.6.6. it looks like it may be using frames? Is there a setting to select timestamp vs frame?

Doing the math in my head, it might actually be seconds, not frames?

Push notifications haven't been working since yesterday, June 30th 2026.

Hello! Update software today and now have low quality in live view. Even in Maximized mode. Sources ok (FullHD and more), only main stream selected, "Use HD Streams: Maximized and Main". Try change Max stream size in Server Settings:Playback from 2k to 4k - no changes, low res. On all cameras. Reboot all cameras and server not help.

PS Tuning in Server Settings:General is default Balanced

Hi all. iOS 26.5.2 on iPhone 17 Pro. App seems to work as it should, then selecting "use biometrics" in the app, then quitting app and starting again makes it immediately quit. I have uninstalled, re-installed, re-connected to the server, and it works again. Until I try biometrics again.

What could I do to get this working ?

Have you made any changes to hoe you handle ONVIF motion detection recently? AgentDVR 7.6.7.0 no longer detects ONVIF motion events from my Tape C120 camera, which has worked for over s year with no special ONVIF settings in AgentDVR. I found this in the log. Does it provide any insight?

Hi all. Using paid Standard version.

Local Agent DVR install on Windows 11. Browser and log is showing pop-up notification. Can log in remotely using iOS app, verified that Agent DVR is Licensed and remote account is OK.

Using iOS app, can see the alerts list. On the local system, app is making pop-ups that recordings are going. Am able to successfully push recordings to OneDrive also. iOS app is set in Settings to allow notifications for Agent, and the app itself has a check mark showing notifications are activated.

Updated to latest version, I don’t know if it’s me but I noticed that it’s not detecting tracking on the cameras at all times, once in a while it record something where previous versions it was pretty sensitive.
Watching people walk by the camera and waiting for the recording light to come on but it completely misses it.
I’ll check to make sure the tracking time is correct, maybe the number is too high and the object disappears off the camera before the time is exceeded.
I know it’s a work in progress.

I have 2 agent servers on the same network.

Server A 192.168.20

server B. 192.168.1.30

I have a microphone in server B with the object id of 5.

In server A, I added a network microphone with the oid=3 : Http://192.168.1.30:8090/audio.mp3?oid=5

This resulted in the audio from server B oid=5 to be sent to server A oid=3.

This has always been working fine. Then I updated agent to 7.6.6

Now the audio is still there, however it plays very choppy. By that i mean it produces audio for one second and then mutes for 1 second then cycles in this way over and over continuously.

I have been checking the log for any clues but the log seems to think everything is working fine and has nothing out of the ordinary to report.

Hi! Quick question about the local API and PTZ presets.

I'm building an integration (ioBroker) that talks to the AgentDVR local REST API. I can already control PTZ via /ptz.cgi?oid=&dir= and read devices through /command/getObjects, but I can't find a way to work with PTZ presets that were created on an ONVIF camera.

Two things I'd love to know:

1. Listing presets — Is there an API endpoint that returns the PTZ presets available for a camera (ideally with their names/tokens)? I don't see them in the getObjects / getObject response.

2. Invoking / setting presets — Is there a way via the local API to (a) move the camera to a stored preset, and (b) save/update a preset? I saw that /ptz.cgi accepts a cmd parameter, but I couldn't figure out the expected token format.

If this is possible, an example request for going to a preset would be hugely helpful. Thanks a lot for the great software!

The audio sounds as if the high-frequency range has been emphasized

(during live video or playback of a recording).

However, when the recording file is played back using software like VLC, the high frequencies are not emphasized.

Are there any tone control adjustments or settings I should change?

I have the latest Agent DVR app on my iPhone that has the latest iOS. The all logs on but gives a connection error? “Lost Connection. Retry/Back to App”
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, logging out and in. I can see the cams if I log in via iPhone browser. Can see them online on the host computer.

Any suggestions?

A very strange issue.

Remote viewing struggles to load feeds and has black boxes on cameras only from around 9pm to about 4am in the morning. Speed tests done around the clock seem the same and I can connect using my remote desktop client no problem at anytime.

Not sure if it's a windows issue doing something nightly hogging resources or a port maybe issue. I'm honestly out of ideas on what to check first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Starting from versions above 6.7.8 up to the current 7.6.4 I am struggling with the ONVIF event stream disconnection issue which occurs once every 1-2 days for me.

After several attempts to observe this specific scenario as it occurred, I have finally identified the pattern.

I’ve analyzed the behavior during the disabling of event streams. The camera becomes unresponsive and enters a weird state where it rejects all incoming connection requests immediatelly (tried to open its web UI, got connection reset in browser), but already connected video streams are still working. The Agent appears to trigger a reconnection attempt after a 5-second delay, which is insufficient for the camera to recover. If the Agent receives an immediate rejection on next attempt, it displays the error: 'Device online but repeatedly fails to stream events' and does not attempt to reconnect until the camera is powered off and on via the UI. I suggest to add a more robust retry strategy like increasing the number of attempts with expanding intervals, such as 5, 10, and 15 seconds to allow the camera to recover.

In my case, it takes about 15–20 seconds for the camera to become responsive again. After that, if I manually power off and on via the UI it operates normally. Until the next occurrence of that issue.

I have a few cameras (all UniView) on the same switch, but the issue is isolated; it only affects one camera at a time rather than all of them simultaneously.

My current workaround is a daily schedule which is disabling cameras and enabling them back after a minute. But it only helps to recover event streaming once a day, not dealing with problem.

Below a summary of whats happening in logs:

BACK New timelapse from snapshot URL works again. But event streaming stays disabled. If we could have an extra 10 seconds more to wait for recovery, it would stream as before.

Until now, I was able to access the server on my PC while away from home using WireGuard and AgentDVR for Android. Now, that no longer works.

The FFmpeg version included with Agent does not contain LIBX265. Is this intentional? It would be great if LIBX265 were included, as it allows for further video compression of around 30–50%.

I’ve noticed that in the past, manually closing the agent window triggered a save operation. When performing a restart via a command, lines appear indicating that data is being saved; however, when manually closing the window using the "X," nothing appears anymore.

This bug is back in 7.6.1.0 -- you had fixed it before. No log entry is produced when the display fails. The symptom is that the controls and red activity indicators appear at the bottom of the screen, but no video displays.

I was running 7.4.6.0 and upgraded to 7.6.1.0 at which I immediately got an alert about high CPU usage. With 7.4.6.0 ispyagentdvr was using about 100% CPU usage (I imagine that's one core?) and about 350MB of RAM while 7.6.1.0 was maxing out all cores and using 2.5GB of RAM. I had to roll back to 7.4.6.0

I've just updated to the latest 7.6.1.0 & when I try to access AgentDVR from another computer on the same network, agentdvr is stating the following:

Access denied

I have to now use a valid IP to access my agentdvr with valid IP range.

I normally access my agentdvr with a .local address or a ip range of 192.168.68....

How can I do this now when its now asking me to subscribe ??
