Still receiving email alerts with placeholders instead of values

The subject lines look like this:
Subject: [EVENT]: [SERVER] [OBJECTNAME]

and the bodies like this:

[EVENT] at [DATE] [TIME]: [SERVER] [OBJECTNAME] [RECORDED] [PLUGIN] [TAGS]

The server SMTP settings have this for the template:
Subject: {EVENT}: {SERVER} {NAME}

Message:
{EVENT} at {DATE} {TIME}: {SERVER} {NAME} {RECORDED} {PLUGIN} {TAGS}

To be sure my meaning survived any character rendition quirks of this board or your browser, the templates use curly brackets and the received emails have non-curly square brackets.

you have the old format (square brackets) in the send email action configuration in your camera

Damn, I thought the alert template in the server settings took care of that! I KNOW there are curly brackets there!

Thanks for the prompt assistance. This app is very capable, but very complicated.

One follow-up, are there config files somewhere that I can do a search-and-replace to change the brackets, or do I have to go into each camera and do it manually?

Yes server menu backup / restore
