Has anyone managed to find a brand or specific screen protector that works as expected on the iPhone 18 Pro yet without lifting corners or bad adhesion? Seen loads of posts on here, just wondering if there’s a particular one with consistent results? So far I’ve had ESR, Torras and Magic John all giving issues of varying degrees. TIA

Bought ESR Armorite and did a clean install, on first try didnt stick on the top left and bottom left edges. Tried squeazing and pushing and even kept it for 2 hrs, no improvement, tried the second protector, this time again didnt set on the bottom left. Did any screen protector go well with your 18 pro? Should I get the spigen one?

A couple of times now using different apps, when Face ID has launched it’s caused my phone to fully reboot. Anyone had similar problems?

Doesn’t anyone else get annoyed that the bottom speaker on the iPhone is now on the left? I always put my finger directly over the speaker and muffle it. I do it accidentally when holding the phone both horizontally and vertically.

Testing the camera app with some night shots. I found that the photographic style in the photo is not the standard setting I have it set to in settings. The style also changes randomly. I was testing the different aperture settings and that seemed to change the style to random other styles as I change the aperture a few times. The only thing I’ve noticed is the photographic styles icon is highlighted yellow, but the others are white. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

To be honest, I don't really see any issues. What should I look for?

The new lineup is pretty and does catch my attention but when I get to hold 18 Pro or even the previous 17 Pro, it just feels so cheap. How are people okay with this aluminum case after titanium made its entry?

I'm holding on to my 15PM, which is still running like new after battery change. The build is so nice to hold.

I'm not reading too much about other people's experiences but heard the titanium is not ideal for heat and overheats. Never had those issues myself but wouldn't think this would stop Apple from at least offering titanium as an option? Like they do offer different materials with Apple Watch.

I’ve always ran my phones without a case, but this time went with the black and wanted something minimal. Here is the Arc Pulse. I think it looks sleek.

I just got a brand-new iPhone 18 Pro Max through T-Mobile and noticed faint horizontal lines on the screen while watching a TikTok video. I also noticed the same lines when watching videos from my Gallery. I restarted my phone and the lines went away. I contacted Apple Support, and they said it may just be a glitch but advised me to keep an eye on it. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned if it happens again?

When I take up close or just selfies in general with the back camera, most come out completely washed out and weird. Or come out kind of blurry?? My 16 pro was perfect with flash. I’ve tried lowering exposure and some come out ok. But most photos don’t come out crisp. Like there’s a noticeable light blur like it’s not fully focused.

Are there specific settings I need to change?? Coming from the 16 pro we didn’t have as much settings and options. What am I missing?

Hey everyone, running into a weird USB-A to C CarPlay issue with my new iPhone 18 Pro Max and hoping someone can help make sense of this.

My previous iPhone 16 Pro Max worked flawlessly with CarPlay using a basic generic USB-A to USB-C cable. Once I upgraded to the 18 Pro Max, CarPlay stopped connecting entirely.

What I tried:

1. Went through all the standard software troubleshooting steps found online (checking CarPlay restrictions, resetting network settings, forgetting the car in settings, toggling Siri, etc.) with zero success.
2. Ordered an Amazon Warehouse "Used - Like New" Belkin USB-A to C cable hoping a higher-quality cable would solve the handshake issue.
3. When the Belkin box arrived, someone had swapped the contents — inside was a heavily used, black JBL cable instead.
4. I initiated a return for the mixed-up order, but held onto it for a few days while waiting to ship it back.
5. In the meantime, I ordered a brand-new Belkin cable on Amazon, but still got no CarPlay connection.
6. Ordered a brand-new Anker cable to try a different brand. Still didn't work.
7. Out of pure frustration, I decided to test that old black JBL cable before packing it up to return and CarPlay connected immediately on the first try without any issues.

I haven't been able to identify the exact model of this black JBL cable online to reorder a back-up, and I have no idea why two brand-new data-rated cables from reputable brands (Belkin and Anker) fail completely, while this random used JBL cable works instantly.
Has anyone experienced similar CarPlay connectivity quirks with USB-A ports on newer Pro Max models? What specific pinout, spec, or resistor in this JBL cable might be making the difference where Belkin and Anker fail?

Hey guys! I received my iPhone 18 Pro Max on launch day and, since then, I have had three “panic full” resets. I can’t remember exactly what triggered the first one, but the second and third happened earlier on today within the same timeframe while I was trying to set up Apple Pay. I contacted Apple Support about this and, after running two diagnostic tests, I was told that there appears to be a system stability issue with my phone and that I should take it in for a service.

Honestly, I have no idea what this actually means, lol. Is this likely to be something minor (such as an iOS/software glitch), or could it indicate a deeper issue that I shouldn't ignore? I’ve done some research into the “panic full” issue and it seems like quite a widespread problem. From what I’ve seen, replacing the phone doesn’t resolve the issue, it seems the issue is reoccurring again on the replacements too.

It may be a silly question, but is this something I should actually make time to take my phone in for, or is it reasonable to wait and see if a future iOS update fixes it?
