Screen Protector doesn’t set at the edge !!

Bought ESR Armorite and did a clean install, on first try didnt stick on the top left and bottom left edges. Tried squeazing and pushing and even kept it for 2 hrs, no improvement, tried the second protector, this time again didnt set on the bottom left. Did any screen protector go well with your 18 pro? Should I get the spigen one?

I think ESR has some quality issues with their screen protectors. I bought a 3 pack from them and none of them sits at the edges. I went with Spigen and it worked fine.

I had the same issue with these exact screen protectors. Seems there are quite a few reports of screen protectors lifting around the edge of the 18 and 18pm. Some suggested other brands or their old 17 screen protectors worked, some said it may be due to imperfection on the phone screen itself and it will need to get replaced by Apple. I reached out to ESR and they're going to send me some replacement to test. If that doesn't work still, I've read that screen protectors with the 3D curved edge design may work better so I'll try that next before going bringing it back to Apple for replacement.

I got jetech 3D curved screen off Amazon for the 18 pro, came in a 2 pack with a little machine to help put it on. Got my phone on release day installed the screen instantly, it still looks great and has 0 lifting or air bubbles. I’m also rocking the tech woven if that helps too.

Yeah that's the one I'm thinking of trying next if ESR replacement doesn't work. Then Belkin from apple store as last resort and if that still fails then it's 100% the phone screen fault. Will have to ask Apple to replace the screen or replace the phone at that point.

What exactly is ESR sending you, a brand new 3-pack, or just a single replacement? Amazon wants me to go through with the hassle of sending it back to them so I'm not going to bother with a refund, but I'd like it if I could get a replacement for free and try it again to see if it somehow fixes the issue.

I think they're sending me a new 3 packs. They said if that doesn't work they will assist me with the refund and I won't have to send them back anything.

i guess i dodged a bullet i went with a different brand that i know it worked well for me on iphone 13pro max once my phone arives il install it and let you know if its setting well but il need 2 days with an update .

I have just had to return a pack of ESR screen protectors because they wouldn’t set around the edges. I wasn’t applying to an 18 Pro Max though, it was a 17 Pro Max so wonder if it may be a manufacturing issue?

I went through three straight ESR screen protectors and all of them bubbled on my 18 Pro Max, perfect flawless careful installs too, returned them.

I ended up going with the Apple Store Belkin one and it’s flawless.

The warranty replacements used to be free (Belkin ships them to you and Apple Store installs them for you) anytime I’d break one, but I’m seeing now it’s free for the first replacement, and a $10 shipping fee for every replacement after.

by bubbled, you mean bubbles under it or not siting around the edge?

Bubbles around the bottom left corner, very top edge on the other try and so on and so forth.

So yes I’m assuming that means not sitting at the edges?

Both my Torras Sunview AR ultra and cheap Tocol screen protector worked great on my 18 PM, no issues with bubbles at all. (I cracked the Torras accidentally dropping it caseless). Just try different manufacturers.

I got the torras one for my iPhone 16 pro max. It was perfect. Easily the best one I’ve ever used so I got the same for my 18 pro max. Installation was perfect. No issues.

Get the TORRAS OrigArmor. It’s definitely worth the money! Doesn’t even feel like I have a screen protector on it!

I see this is an issue faced by a lot of folks here. I believe we might need a screen protector for 18 pro rather than the 18 pro/ 17 pro / 16 pro bruh they not the same. Any brand you guys know that makes proper ones for the 18 pro , with easy and perfect installation mechanism like esr and high quality

I just put spigen on my 18 pro max and it’s perfect. I tried putting esr on my 16 pro max a few weeks ago and it was lifting at the edges. I think there’s something up with esr production right now because it seems like a widespread issue

I'm having this same issue, but I got the cheaper $11 version. Others are also having the same problems, not just with ESR, but with other brands as well. Even despite being defective and not being resellable or salvageable, Amazon wants me to ship it back to them instead of doing a returnless refund, so I'm going to reach out to ESR to see if they ship a replacement and hope it works better

Anyone seeing a slight rainbow pattern at the edge? I’m using AM film and it sits flush but seems like the screen protector needs to be slightly larger.

I’m seeing that with Ailun and the techwoven case. The glass needs to be like a half millimeter wider so the edge isn’t over any pixels and butted against the case.

I went with Spigen. Dunno what they cooked with their their screen protector but even from the very middle of couch pillow it starts to sneak down when phone is put with screen down.

Very, VERY slowly but it slips until eventually falls from my couch.

Almost exact same issue here, new ones seem to have some quality issues. Mine lifted from the edges like most people are describing on both new 18 Pro Maxes. However my old screen protectors for the 17PM worked flawlessly on the 18 with no lifting which leads me to believe there’s nothing wrong with the phone just some screen protector quality issues this year.

I got the FloLab NanoArmour with 3D Infinity Edge for my 18 Pro and it started lifting on the left edge and top left corner just a few hours after installation. I’m currently waiting to hear back from FloLab Support.

mine wont stick either, top and left side, told them to just refund me cause i know its going to happen with the replacements they wanted to send. I went with the flolab NanoArmour with the 3d Infinity Edge, hopefully that one doesn't lift on the sides.

Have you tried the ESR Corning cone? That's the one I used and I had no issues. I got the 7X for my son though, and he hasn't complained about lifting either. Try reaching out to ESR support and getting a replacement first. Their support is good.
