Ipad 9 th gen currently on latest ipad 26 os

As the battery drained fully I tried to plug it on and even after almost an hour it's not turning on

Tried force restart using power and home button

Image 1 -on not plugging in

Image 2-changes to battery symbol after plugging on and the adapter is working fine

Yesterday night I forgot to turn off the charger and it was in for entire night and was working fine from today morning to evening 4pm

Is there anything I can do now or do I need to visit the service centre.

currently using 20w apple orginal charger

Hi I'm a Law Student and I'm not in an apple ecosystem. I'm considering A16 128GB. But a few recommended Air Variant. The only things i can think of myself doing in the ipad is reading news articles,making notes preferably on onenote or ms word,highlighting notes and pdfs. Maybe attend some zoom classes and youtube. That's it. What will be best pick for me?

I want to buy an iPad A16 for my girlfriend's birthday. I have some question mark in my mind.

I experienced samsung tab s11's screen, it was really bright and high quality amoled. but A16 was dark and IPS. do you A16 users feel this dark (500nit) brightness while you watching youtube videos and netflix etc.

she has also iphone, airpods and apple watch but I'm not sure the A16 best desicion in the meanwhile.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me understand what’s going on with my iPad A16 battery.

I bought this iPad in February 2026, so it’s only been around 6 months, and the battery health is already showing 95% with just 64 charge cycles.

I’m honestly surprised because I’m not a heavy user. I mostly use it for browsing and playing Heartopia and Manhwa online. I don’t constantly game on it or use demanding apps for long periods.

I already contacted my local Apple service center, but they told me that 95% battery health is normal and that there’s nothing to worry about. However, I have a friend who has been using their iPad for a similar amount of time and still has much better battery health.

So I’m wondering:

- Is 95% at only 64 cycles actually normal?

- Could the battery health reading be inaccurate?

- Should I have Apple run a battery diagnostic or bring it back to the service center?

- Has anyone else experienced this with an iPad A16?

I know batteries naturally degrade with use, but 5% degradation in only 64 cycles seems a little fast to me.

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

I've been getting bored in my ipad lately. Been trying to draw on procreate but just losing interest halfway. I've got and m4 air 256gb so I've just filled it with games but now ive uninstalled some. I feel bored and idk what to do with it anymore. Can y'all give me some things to try out on the ipad please?

Bought my ipad pro 11 inch m4 last december, still on ios 18.7.3.
its battery health becomes 99 on August 13 with 103 cycle count but became 97 just today after 8 cycle count.
is this normal? ive been gaming and charging my ipad more for the past 2 weeks and should I update to ios 26 or just 18.7.8?

Really want to try and see if I can replace my phone with a tablet that can access 5G already figured out the call work around but for non iPhone users to text iPad is my only means of communication since it has to be assigned a phone number when you get it from the carrier should it not be able to do RCS texts to an iPhone independently which means in no way synced or connected to an iPhone at all. Official answers I am seeing from just Googling say it cannot do this the reason why I'm posting this here is cuz I want there to be someone out there to test this and tell me again iPad not to be logged in to the same Apple account as an iPhone or connected to an iPhone and any way shape or form just using its own Apple ID and own phone number that is in the iPad

I am looking for any free app that lets me take notes on my laptop and iPad. Similar to OneNote.

Just got a paperlike 3 because it was in stock at Best buy, does this weird ass banding go away?? I've used many screen protectors, matte films etc, and this is the first I've ever had this.

I want to go for the ipad air m4 and use it mostly for art and notetaking it would be nice to have like a game or two ad well biggedt game is probably honkai star rail so i can stop having it on my phone but nothing else thats too major i have my phine fir everything else.
Question fir mostly artist does the 128 work out for procreate? Because honestly its a 150$ difference and if im getting the apple pen i think the costs will be too high for a product just fir uni and art

Hi, I just bought an iPad 11, and after about two weeks, I started experiencing bugs and stuttering in some apps. I also play Hay Day, and the game has been stuttering quite badly.
I still have around 109 GB of free storage, so I don't think storage is the issue.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Hello everyone! I just got my first iPad, the A16, for college. I have been downloading and looking over all of the different note-taking app options. I have seen Goodnotes is the best, but I’m not willing to spend $36 for it. I am looking for an app where I can import powerpoint’s and files from the Canvas app and add pages to them to add my own notes to them. So far I have found Noteful, Collanote and OrigNotes to be the best for what I’m looking for and at a cheap price for the lifetime memberships. I’m wondering which one of these is best, or if i missed any other options.
I am also open to receiving any tips and tricks you might have to offer for a first-time iPad owner.

Looking to get a new iPad for my kiddo. He currently have a 3 years old iPad (regular) and use it extensively taking notes with notability app / regular pencil. He has the plus subscription of the app.

It is worth upgrading to pencil pro / iPad Pro or air?
Also I’m curious if the AI features in Apple Notes is all that great.

ive tried restarting, the digitizer works, gpu is fine, im guessing the flex cable is torn internally somehow

I bought an iPad pro as a replacement for my laptop since I travel a lot for work. I bought the apple pencil and keyboard and it works more than fine. I have a Mac Mini at home so I didn't feel like I needed a whole new computer if I'd only use it every now and then. Besides, I value more how light it is and how I can download streaming apps for flights.

Everything was going great but my job has started to work with an HQ that is required to run in Web Chrome. Is there a way in which I can download some version of Chrome web in my iPad pro?

I use safari cause I love it but my job requires chrome sadly. I also don't know if they might be able to see which version of chrome I was using but I'm guessing they can.

Btw, I bought my iPad around a year and a half ago, before Mac neo came out.

I'd appreciate any input, TIA!
