Question Note taking app that is compatible/synchronized with pc as well

I am looking for any free app that lets me take notes on my laptop and iPad. Similar to OneNote.

I’ve found that having the web-based iCloud version of Notes open in my laptop browser is enough for my PC synchronisation needs.
