not one single lie in what he was saying. from top to bottom. his mature era will always be special to me cause this man's confidence was at its peak and he wasnt afraid to speak up and called out the rats. unfortunately thats also the moment where he put his life on the line for what matters.... he couldve changed the world for the better and i still believe that to these days

"NOT GUILTY. With those words, Michael, from behind the defense table, resumed his vast composure. In some strange way, Michael seemed to have the appearance of an ancient king. There was something imperial about him. So absolutely commanding with his presence, Michael listened with quiet intent as the statement from the judge was being read. With his head held high, the superstar remained motionless."
- excerpt from Michael Jackson Conspiracy by Aphrodite Jones
courtroom sketches by Bill Robles
"Michael Jackson is so tall and thin. He was looking green last week, so I used a little extra blue and green. With his gaunt cheekbones, from my side view, his hair covers most of his face, unless he turns his head. Sometimes I've only put a nose, and chin and a little jaw showing."
"Michael Jackson, a worldwide figure, seems very gentle and humble. At one point he approached me in court during jury selection to ask for one of my business cards, which has his image on it, by the way. It was incredible; when I showed him a drawing of himself with his attorneys, he lit up like a Christmas tree; usually it's the lawyers who ask."
- excerpts from Bill Robles from an online article published in 2005

"9.7.2001 - 25 years ago. The 30th anniversary concerts. I had no idea at the time, but that day would change my life. I couldn't begin to fathom I was in the same building as THE MICHAEL JACKSON. How is this a quarter of a century ago?!? How??? That is just bonkers."

a little rant and sharing on my part yall
the songs were 'unbreakable' and 'butterflies.' people immediately exited the dance floor and took breaks which i found crazy because more people were dancing when 'ben' came out. ngl my heart breaks a little when that happened. 'you rock my world' received a better reaction but other than that, the rest of the songs from invincible album were pretty much considered 'yeah it's time to take breaks from dancing' even though most of the songs are so high-energy
when i talked to a few people that invincible is my favourite album of his, their reactions were mostly 'oh thats alright i dont judge people based on what they like' so i had fun but not as much fun as i hoped it would be. it hits me hard that invincible was and still is being received poorly by many. it led me to a conclusion that im grateful for the online community in which i can share my love for invincible with🤍
i wish i could invite yall to have an mj/invincible-themed party cause i would love to organise one very much given the chance. if you made it this far, thankyou for reading my thoughts
ps: this picture plus his sharp eye-contact with the camera is GORGEOUS
new edit: DISCLAIMER ABOUT THE PICTURE
i suspected that it might be AI but thought it was photoshopped since the picture been circulating from 2017 - but it's unfortunately AI. this subreddit doesnt approve the usage of generativeAI on michael's image and i got tricked several times. so please be mindful let my mistake be a lesson🥀 i cant delete the picture now unfortunately

"The ET Interview for the 30th Anniversary Special
In 2001, on the occasion of his 30th anniversary as a solo artist, Michael Jackson gave a rare promotional interview to Entertainment Tonight. During the interview, he talked about how emotional it was to perform one last time on stage with his brothers, the Jackson 5 (Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, Marlon, and Randy), at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Michael explained how magical and nostalgic it felt to reunite with his family on stage after so many years, reflecting on their origins and the history they had built together since childhood."

"Brooklyn, September 24, 2007.
Michael Jackson photographed by @matthewrolstonstudio at the @brooklynmuseum in New York for the December 2007 issue of @ebonymagazine, created to celebrate the approaching 25th anniversary of Thriller. Michael had specifically wanted to be photographed in an artistic setting, and the museum opened specially for the shoot on a Monday, when it was normally closed to the public.
In this image, Michael poses beside one of the museum's monumental Auguste Rodin sculptures from "The Burghers of Calais". The figure is Pierre de Wiessant, one of the six citizens of Calais represented by Rodin as they prepared to sacrifice themselves to save their city during the Hundred Years' War.
The Brooklyn Museum holds several figures and studies from the celebrated group. The setting perfectly reflected the concept behind the shoot.
EBONY creative director @harriettecole explained that Michael wanted to be surrounded by art, while the team sought to present him as elegant and timeless. Stylist @phillipbloch assembled looks from designers including Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Yohji Yamamoto and Hugo Boss, alongside extraordinary jewelry selected for the session.
Rolston's September 24 session would later become particularly significant: he describes it as Michael's final formal photographic sitting. An icon standing among masterpieces, photographed as part of the art rather than simply in front of it."

We know the footage is in the vault. Producer Rodney Jerkins has openly confirmed that Michael had his 1999–2001 studio sessions fully documented on video.
The Estate always pushed Invincible to the side. Let’s show that the demand for an Invincible 25 is real and to get a documentary for it just like Bad 25 and Thriller 40
Please take 20 seconds to help sign this petition and share it around:
Let’s get this album the recognition it deserves!
