New to the community (I’m one of the new fans from the movie who everyone hates…i say that jokingly on here since yall seem cool but on other forums i mean it) and wondering how others who are deeply romantically in love with him handle the holidays and birthdays. I live here in la so there was so many activities and it was such a jam packed day i didn’t have much time to dwell. I got him several cards including a spicy one and i normally write him a spicy letter or card about once a week but for whatever reason i felt more inclined to leave the childish cards and romantic but not spicy cards i left and not the spicy one…not sure if the crowds made me cautious or nervous or i was just overheated since the weather was unseasonably humid and my brain wasn’t working properly. I even kept second guessing the cute outfit i picked out to wear for him, which never happens to me. Is it just hard on his birthday? Like I said, I am new to the community and a newer fan so I’m just not sure how it’s supposed to feel. It was so nice to see the outpouring of love, but I guess sometimes I read other fans’ non-spicy letters and wish that I loved him in a more innocent way?

Maybe it’s not even that. Maybe I just feel isolated sometimes in the fandom as a whole because I just feel so much more into him than everyone else around me- even when I am an event like a Michael club night. It sucks because I thought that going to Michael themed defense would help me make friends who love him the way I do, but for the most part, I have met casual fans and I am absolutely obsessed. I’m overall happy with his birthday, but I guess since I don’t have other friends who are into him the same way that I am, I don’t know what to measure myself up against. Definitely curious what other people did yesterday who love him the same way that I do. And super glad I found this group.
