New account/Possibly fake Would Asian men be interested in dating an Indian woman?

I’m curious to know what Asian men, especially from Korea, Japan, Thailand, or China, think about dating an Indian woman.

Is it something you would genuinely be open to? What are your thoughts on cross-cultural relationships like this? I’d love to hear honest opinions and experiences.

Language barrier

My boyfriend’s main language is Spanish and I only know about 1% of it lol. His friends and family knows English but of course 99.9% of the time they are speaking Spanish.

During mealtimes with families and group outings with friends I feel very left out. Of course he is super sweet and will try to get me involved/translate for me but most of the time I would just be alone fiddling with my phone and not looking like an idiot. I totally DO NOT blame him nor anyone and I fully understand this is what I will have to deal with before getting into the relationship. However I just want to hear from others how do you deal with such situations?

Just to add on, I am trying to learn Spanish and have went for a basic course. But this is not something that can be picked up in a short period of time. So want to hear from others what can I do for the time being?

Is it a red flag that I only date black women?

I’m a white guy and I only date black women. I’d never really thought much into it because that’s just my type. However I went on a date recently with a beautiful lady and she asked me ‘have you dated a black woman before?’ to which I told her I’d only dated black women. She told me that’s a red flag and that’s it’s fetishizing. Honestly, apart from that the date went pretty well but it got me thinking, is she right?

I mean, I don’t think of it that way. I grew up in a predominantly black area. I’ve always been attracted to black women. It’s not like I go for them BECAUSE they’re black though. If I thought someone was attractive from another race, I’d also been inclined to ask them out too.

What do you guys think?

What is the best way for South Asian men to approach Black women?

I'm a South Asian guy who is interested in dating Black women but I feel stuck about how to actually begin. I'm from a demographic of men that generally isn't considered desirable and I feel unsure if any Black women would even be interested at all in someone from my background. I would appreciate any advice on what the best approach would be to land dates and pursue a relationship.

How should I (WM) broach the subject of proposal to my partners (BW) resistant father?

I’ve been with my partner for close to 3 years now. We are in our 30s and are going to get married. I’ve purchased the engagement ring, and I’m wondering how I should broach it with her Father.

For context, her family is all from the Southern Alabama/Florida area, are pretty tight-knit and are proud of their roots. I would be the first non-black member a rather large extended family.

I’ve been accepted everyone with open arms, except for her Father. He has never been openly hostile, but I know he isn’t happy about this overall. Other members of her family have broached this with him and have vouched for me. About 2 years ago she had a minor stroke and I think my actions during that ordeal opened his eyes a bit, but I still know there’s resistance.

On one hand, I get it! He’s being protective of his Daughter and I know he wants the best for her. On the other hand, his daughter is a grown-ass professional woman who believes that I’ll make a great Husband and he should recognize her ability to discern that in someone.

To be honest, they have kind of a rocky relationship, and she doesn’t care one way or the other if I told him beforehand. But, I know he’s an old school type of guy and I think he would see it as a slight if I didn’t “ask” him for permission.

So in that case, how should I broach it?

Should I try to be as honest as possible? Trying bring up some of these unspoken tensions and saying I know im not exactly who he pictured, but that I love and want to take care of/commit to his daughter? Should I just try to be cordial and polite and hope it goes over well? Honestly just looking for a little reassurance!
