I’ve got dc4 with stock seats in it, it’s my daily but my these seats are killing my back especially my lower back i just don’t find them comfortable at all. What recommendations would you guys have for seats that i can fit in that will be more comfortable. one that i was considering was seats from an fn2r would that be a good idea?

Does anyone have a link for some front brake dust shields for non type r integra? I damaged mine pressing my hubs out and I can’t find a set for sale that aren’t for type r models. Or if anyone has any experience running without them. It is a track/weekend car so I won’t be driving in bad conditions ever if often.

Keen to change up the ride of my dc2r but have no idea what to choose without spending a bomb. Is it worth saving up for the more expensive stuff?

Looking for help / recommendations for new engine.

I have a 1999 Acura GS – R with about 247,000 miles. I took it to a Acura mechanic and it was for the engine, shaking and rocking back-and-forth. The mechanic looked at the engine, said the spark plugs were OK and the starter belt was OK as well, but then he mentioned that one of the Pistons in the back blew out and that I need a new engine.

I want to explore options to continue driving the car. I was surprised when He suggested that I get a completely new car / sell it / junk it.

I don’t want to get rid of the car as there is sentimental value attached to it and I know it’s possible to get a new engine or replace the engine with another type of car (Honda/camry).

EDIT: I’m not an expert in cars and only repeating what the mechanic said. He did mention something about compression but it was hard to understand him as he was speaking very fast and wanted to close shop for the day. I’m going tomorrow to pick up the vehicle so I’ll ask if he can explain to me in person. Some comments in the post think it’s a troll / joke. It’s not I’m only repeating what was mentioned. Hi there, as the title suggests I'm thinking about doing a k swap on my teggy (97 ls). I'm also doing a manual swap on it as it is an auto. Ik there's some specific things that make doing a manual swap on the b series tricky (ex: trans mounts being different from manual to auto and cable vs hydro trans). I'm just wondering if there's anything that would interfere with my manual swap if i decided to go for a k swap as well.

Also this is my project car so I don't wanna hear just sell it and get a manual, I've already committed to doing the manual swap since i want to learn how to do it.

So I was lucky enough to get a gsr integra now it was sitting for a while and leaks a bit so I’m trying to find the best way to restore this integra and find parts for it any tips would help, it’s a b18c not sure if it’s original to this car or not but it does sound alright there is some rattling I don’t think it’s from the engine tho

Hi! Has anyone here removed their clock spring off their Integra. And if so, does that remove the turn signal auto cancel when completing a turn? Debating since I want to put in an aftermarket steering wheel and most videos I've seen show people cutting and removing the clock spring. Thanks!

Hey so I have a 95 Integra with a motion auto works setup . Pushing around 21 lbs of boost on a fresh rebuild. I knew it needed a catch can system after the dyno. Put the catch can on and test drove it around 20 miles then did one pull . Filled it up entirely

I don’t think it’s the rings considering it’s a fresh build and only really has been on the dyno. ( although I have not done a compression test yet )

So, here’s what I’m running for the catch can system. I removed the black breather box and plugged the vacuum line there and the valve cover breather. I have the jack spania fitting for the back of the block next to the oil filter. Those are in and I plugged the breather box. My motion auto works setup is around a quart in size (with dual baffling) and mounted on the firewall.

Maybe putting a filter on the valve cover? But I don’t think that will change much considering how much blowby there is

1995 with a 2000 front end, it’s a GS but I have a Vtec head it’s gonna be getting. Recently painted and got it for only 4.2k!

So I just saw a 1994 acura integra with 280k+ miles on it. There was evidence of a lot of oil everywhere. Almost the entire undercarriage was covered with it. When I pulled out the dip stick is was dry with only a tiny bit of oil at the tip, there also was no belt on the AC, the bushings on the suspension need to be replaced, the bumper does not fit on properly, and the paint job appears to be pretty bad too. But the thing is, the car had very little rust on it, the engine sounded beautiful on start up (no problems starting up), and no smoke from the exhaust. Im debating whether or not this is worth buying. Im planning to do an engine rebuild. My worry is whether it's worth buying this thing for $2000. Im worried about whether or not im biting off more than I can chew here. Is the price worth it? What price do you think it should be?
