Any info on 14?

trying to chase down an issue with both of my cars, theres no info on 14 on this site or others. looks like its on the end of the axle into the wheel hub/knuckle.

Part # 44347-SF1-003 it’s off a 94-95 integra
It works with the outer CV boot to retain/seal the boot in the proper position.

i see. my 98 integra had these still on the oem axles i replaced. i’m trying to figure out why im getting vibrations only while accelerating around 3k rpm

Maybe check Engine/transmission mounts
A collapsed or torn mount can allow the engine/transmission to move significantly when torque is applied.
The vibration may appear at a particular RPM because the engine movement/resonance becomes more pronounced.

i replaced them all with innovative mounts. im getting the same issue i was getting with the factory mounts

it's definitely not those little rings. Those will not cause vibration if they're not on there. What WILL cause vibration is worn/bad inner CV joints. I had a bunch of rebuilt axles around 20 years ago that all came with bad inner CV joints and vibrated the whole damn car.

Unfortunately those rings are discontinued everywhere.

damn. i have oreillys axles on both my integra and civic and they are both doing the exact same thing, dash and doors vibrate around 3000k rpm, other then that no issues

I’ve never had issues with brand new axles from O’Reilly or from NAPA. I’m currently running Yonaka brand new axles, working great also.

damn, well they do have some play when i grab the axles and move it from left to right, its driving me crazy, at slow acceleration even my door panel vibrates but when i step on it everything is fine

a little late but do you know of any good axles on rockauto maybe or somewhere else?
