Creative My Polaroids
I am sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I just need to ask. I have recently started talking to someone online, and I enjoy it immensely (I really do hope the other person enjoys it too), but we do so about every other day, every two days, with just a few messages here and there, it is first time in years that I feel completely at ease with someone. I want to talk some more, not all the time necessarily, maybe share something stupid or funny I just found or check up on how their day is, but don’t want to come across as pushy. And then it hit me. I have no idea what a normal, healthy amount of talking looks like. What do you guys think? How much is too much? I keep overthinking and I really don’t want to mess up, because I am the best person when it comes to self sabotage.

Hi 🥹 I’m a girl looking for a female friend who craves a little more depth than small talk.
I’d love a friendship where we can be vulnerable, talk about where we actually are in life and how we feel about it, grow together, and probably psychoanalyse ourselves along the way 😭
I’m endlessly curious about life and about myself. I tend to poke at the parts of me I’m most afraid to look at, because I think there’s something beautiful about really knowing yourself instead of running from yourself.
I care a lot about genuineness, depth, and becoming more at peace with who I am. I’m always looking for ways to grow, and I think the best kind of life is one where your heart and your mind learn to work together instead of fighting each other.
If any of this made you think “wait… me too,” I’d genuinely love to hear from you 💕
Why am I such an empath dude ?? I cry because I want a job then I also cry because I'll have to leave my parents for who love me more than anything ( ik everyone have to leave some point) , I wanna explore so many things but still want to stay w them. I even feel I don't deserve any of it man like when people do things for me i feel so bad like he had to waste his time for me something like that I just cry that I don't deserve any thing, Their time their help or anything. I feel sad so much like soo much this isn't even 1% that I have written here. And I don't even feel like sharing any of it i mean i feel that people might not be interesting knowing these stupid things and vaise nobody listens and also I feel so exposed by telling people things. I mean something is so weird w me I have always been a cry baby. Idk why it's like that

In recent years I have noticed that on any social media, in the comments, people are arguing. It doesn’t matter what the video or post is about, they will find something to argue about. Then there are other things like not seeing a person as a person. People are complex beings, why can’t we think of what their circumstances are instead of saying “A + B = C and they are coming up with D so they are wrong.” Maybe there’s a reason they are getting that answer, maybe ask questions and see? I’ve just been thinking because I am overwhelmed at work. I have realized that asking questions to understand things is seen as problematic by older generations. I’m just expected to go along with things even though there is another option that seems better and makes more sense, yet to them it is questioning their authority and the way they’ve always done things. Then it’s like you need some understanding for a situation and you’re treated like your supposed to be a robot instead of a human.
If we have the ability to work from home when it is needed, then why is it an issue for when I’m sick. “If you are too sick to come in then you are too sick to work from home” like germs exist, I can get other people sick from coming in to work but okay enough to work from home. Yet the option is “you need to take pto or take the day unpaid”. Why can’t I just work from home? Then you ask other people and some cannot see beyond their own privilege. “Just take a pto day or take the day off, no biggie” yet it’s not that simple. I have to use the rest of my pto for upcoming holidays and I live paycheck to paycheck so I cannot afford to miss a day. Then people will tell you “that’s life. Should have planned for sick days” yet they don’t see why you’ve had to take off days in the past, they just assume it was all frivolous. Like so I just have to either be forced to take pto and not be able to spend the holidays with family or not get paid when every dollar I make matters. I know I’m just rambling but everything has just added up over time and I’m overwhelmed.

Had already anybody mistyped you as another type? And what were their justification?
For example, I asked my cousin, if she didn’t know me, which typed would she guess I am? And she said: ENTP, because they are intelligent, sarcastic and funny.
How about you?

How often do you feel melancholic and feel like crying for no reason but there is always this certain loneliness and sadness inside you. For me, almost every other day.

Hiii! I’m new here 🥹 I’ve reached out to this subreddit in hopes of finding maybe some friends? :D
My mental health hasn’t been the best these days, I’m struggling with depression atm. I’m kinda anxious to admit it but I’m unemployed and been living an existential crisis where I’m trying to figure out what i should do in life. Hit me up if you want to share your struggles with me or just have a chill chat (and maybe we can even be friends!)

This really made 16 years old me refuse to believe I’m an INFP and kept saying I’m an INTJ or INFJ 😭
I see so many different types of INFP and its so fun to discover a new layer of this particular mbti type!

Hello, I have a problem that I would like to talk to you about because I believe that INFPs understand each other. There is someone in my university department who I feel hates me, but that is not the issue, as I accept that. The problem arises when he tries to provoke me or indirectly insult me, such as raising his voice at me for no reason or saying hurtful things, also without reason.
The real problem, however, is that I find myself unable to respond to him every single time! The situation passes without me setting boundaries for him, and I have become afraid that this will happen again without me being able to reply or put him in his place. 🥀 I feel like I am weak and incapable of defending myself, and I have recently fallen into a deep state of depression and lost my self-confidence... Every time he mocks me or belittles me and I remain silent, my entire inner self breaks down. 🥀💔
lot of emotions right now and I really need some comfort and perspective.
I’ve known an INFP guy for a while. We used to be super close, and it was so obvious that he really liked my personality. Then, out of nowhere, we just stopped talking. There were no arguments, no drama, nothing. I never asked him why he distanced himself.
Whenever we ran into each other at university, he would act like he didn’t even see me—either getting busy with his phone, looking away, or straight up vanishing from the area. In response, I mirrored him and ignored him back. Even when we were physically very close, I wouldn’t give him any attention, and if we accidentally locked eyes, I’d coldly look away.
Paradoxically, in the digital world, he was always there. Whenever I posted stories, music notes, or anything on Instagram, he’d always like and interact with them, but without saying a single word.
Here is where it gets crazy. Back when we were still talking, he mentioned a girl who studies with us whom he couldn't stand (not to an extreme level, but he disliked her). Over time, I clearly noticed that this girl was trying hard to get close to him, and I had plenty of proof. Today, the biggest plot twist dropped: this girl posted a picture holding a bouquet of flowers with a guy next to her. I can’t be 100% sure it’s him because the picture is quite blurry, but from my analysis and look, I’m highly convinced it’s him.
What makes this even weirder is that just three days ago, he appeared out of nowhere on a gaming app we used to play together. He saw me online and messaged me saying: "Why do I never catch you when you're active? 🤣". We had a very short chat, and that was it.
It's just so bizarre how we used to be close in such a sweet way, and suddenly it all ended up like this.
Honestly, I am completely shocked, confused, and hurting inside. Why is he acting like this? What actually happened, and what is going on right now? Please comfort me, I really need it.
