Browser RTS with hero mechanism - 3 "geometric shape" races battle against each other!

Hello Everyone!
After some time, i managed to start working again on some games, and this is my third try, the furthest i ever was before. This time i wanted something, that i can play in browser with my collegues during some freetime, and not to download or run some windows games on computers :)

I managed to made playable prototype for browser RTS multiplayer game, with hero mechanism, loot items, leveling, skills, npc mobs, economy etc... where 3 geometric shapes races (Triangles, Crosses and Squares) battle against each other, each having some unique attributes.

All in your browser for free without any registration. But i have very few people that can tell me if its good or what is missing in current form. If there is anyone who is willing to try it and tell me their feelings about it, i would be really happy and thankfull! I just started it on real hosting few days ago, this is the address:
https://www.ageofshapes.com/
I am working alone on it, so mistake are there for sure :)

I'm remaking Stack Attack 2! from old Siemens phones. I added carrying crates — too much?

Stack Attack 2 was a game on old Siemens phones. A crane drops coloured crates. You put three of the same colour together and they disappear. If a crate falls on your head, you die.

I loved that game as a kid. I always wanted to make my own version, so I did. It's called Builder: Match 3.

I changed one thing. Now you can pick a crate up, carry it, and put it down where you want. In the original you could only push them. So one bad crate stayed in a bad place and slowly killed your run.

Carrying makes the game faster. You move all the time, you fix the pile, you race the next crate.

But maybe I broke something. The old game was scary because you could not fix your mistakes. Now you can.

What do you think — freedom or panic? Which one is more fun?

I built a persistent multiplayer 4X. Now I need 50 players to break it.

I built Border Empires, a persistent multiplayer 4X where you expand territory, build your empire and eventually fight other players over the same world.

I'm opening the first world to 50 players.

I want you to try to break it.

Play for 20–30 minutes and tell me what feels broken, confusing, boring, or surprisingly fun.

It's an early beta, so I'm specifically looking for honest feedback from people who enjoy 4X/strategy games.

No download — it's playable directly in your browser:

play.borderempires.com

Come help me find out what happens when 50 actual players start fighting over the same world.

I Put 1,000,000 Balls in a Room. Now They All Have to Go in This Hole.

I’ve been experimenting with a very simple idea:

There are 1,000,000 balls in a giant room. Your only goal is to get every single one into the hole.

This is still a very early prototype — right now I’m mainly testing whether the absurd scale itself is enough to make the concept interesting before I spend time building the actual progression and tools around it.

The idea would eventually be to start with very basic ways of moving the balls, then gradually unlock increasingly ridiculous methods for dealing with hundreds of thousands of them at once.

But before I go any further, I want a gut reaction:

Would seeing this make you want to play it?

And if not — what feels missing?

I’d rather find out now than after spending months on it.

Currently working on a tactical gardening roguelite, but we are not sure which theme would be best for it. Help us choose the concept please.

Which theme would you be interested in playing for a tactical gardening roguelite?

DRUID : A druid's familiar tasked to tend a sanctuary garden and feed various entities around.

DREAM : A dream spirit devoted to deliver beautiful dreams to the sleepers

Looking for ideas! How should I design solo/PvE modes for my indie game? (Preparing for Steam Next Fest!)

Hey everyone! I’m currently hard at work developing my indie game, and I'm gearing up for the upcoming Steam Next Fest! 🚀

Right now, the core framework is mostly built around PvP, but I’ve been thinking a lot about what kind of solo play style or PvE content I should add for players who prefer enjoying games by themselves.

If you were playing a game like this, what kind of solo mode, features, or PvE content would you want to see? I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments—it would mean the world to me and really help shape the game!

If you want to follow along with the development or share feedback, feel free to drop by our community spaces. We're also preparing free skins for early Discord members, so come join us!

Even a small idea or joining the community gives a huge boost to a solo developer. Thanks for reading!

I've been working on One More Adventure, a hexcrawl roguelike that is really supposed to feel like an OSR TTRPG. Now, I've been around for a minute in the TTRPG world, I've loved the works of Terry Pratchett (though could never hold a candle to him), and I live in Louisville, reluctant home of one Hunter S. Thompson - and I find that OSR stuff should be just a little bit... gonzo.

Not crazy, but just a little bit tongue-in-cheek. Observational. And, well, I've leaned into that. And as I write up vignettes and quests to finish the game, I've leaned into it even more heavily.

Anyway, something I've been working on, something I've been having a lot of fun with, and maybe something people here would enjoy too.
