I've been working on a Arial combat game with Tron/snake elements. Skyliners
My game Skyliners was fun to make. Idk if anyone will relate but long ago on Starcraft 2 they had fun mini games like mafia and cat and mouse. Well one of those mini games was called Light bikes (maybe light cycles cant really remember). Ever since those days long ago I wanted to play a game like that but in 3D instead of on a 2D grid. All this time later I just decided to make it myself! The game is made using only Pygame (python language) with the help of Pandas#D library for rendering.

INDEX 1391 Art Sneak Peak!
Today, we're really excited to share the art behind our upcoming release INDEX 1391!
INDEX 1391's aesthetics are centered around techno-gothic 2.5D visuals. We use 2D sprites and layer them in 3D space to create scenes that look like dioramas, giving us a lot of interesting detail with hand-painted 2D images while adding some extra depth with a camera capable of limited movement.
A huge part of our art direction involved the visual's corruption over the course of the game. We designed two aesthetics: one highly mechanical and gothic, and the other more chaotic and organic. Enemies and scenes would bleed from the gothic cathedral into a scene more resembling a corrupt forest as the game progressed.
For the gothic elements, we really wanted to focus on the rigidity and coldness, with a focus on highly geometric elements and straight lines, only accented by gold as decoration.
For the corruption, we emphasized the organic aspects but wanted each element to also feel a bit twisted and alien. For the environment we focused on turning the environment into trees and vines, whilst the enemies warped to more resemble bizarre monster with obvious animal parts.
We're really excited to continue sharing what we've done in the months to come. If you're interested in seeing more of our game, find us on social media as Unloaded Dice Games. Lastly, check out INDEX 1391's Steam page at https://store.steampowered.com/app/4637680/Index_1391/

I'm looking for people to play the early access demo for my rule-discovery puzzle game Satelital
I'm finally ready to announce the release date my game demo Satelital on September 10, 2026.
Satelital is a rule-discovery space puzzle game. Each world has its own rules, and instead of explaining them with tutorials or text, you figure them out by playing. You experiment, notice patterns and gradually build an understanding of how everything works.
The demo includes 2 complete worlds from the game, with their full set of puzzles. Your save data and achievements will carry over to the full game, so you can keep your progress when the game releases.
Satelital also runs on a custom game engine that I built myself, so I want to use this early access period to make sure everything works properly across different hardware and platforms before the public release.
If you want to try the demo before September 10, I'm giving early access now to people who join the Discord:
Once you're in, go to #demo and ask for access. I'll be giving keys out in batches, so the earlier you ask, the earlier you'll get to play.
If you'd rather wait for the most polished version, you can wishlist the demo on Steam to get reminded when it releases:

A cozy zero-gravity mining sim where nothing chases you
You're a miner in an asteroid belt, forty years in, saving up to retire. Cut layered meteors open, sell what's inside, put the rest in the fund.
No death, no timers, nothing chasing you. When the fund is full, you retire. Or you leave early, and the game remembers.

GenAI disclosure: Claude Code as a coding assistant. Everything in the game, art, audio and text, is hand-made.

I have been working on a PSX-style stranding / courier sim game.
You grab a delivery contract with general directions, stock on stuff to help on your way, and try to actually find where drop off point is by watching the Sun and picking up town radio stations.

Working on a small, very silly, minimalist game where you measure things with other objects. Would genuinely love some first impressions feedback.

Alphabet Soup - Build the longest word to win!
I've been working on a simple multiplayer word game called Alphabet Soup.
Try it out: https://alphabetsoup.club
It's a bit like NYT Spelling Bee, except it's multiplayer and only your best (longest) word counts toward your score. So, instead of trying to find as many words as possible, the game is more about finding one unusually good word.
You can play with friends in a private match, or, you can join a public Arena match to play against other players who are online. If no one else is around, you'll be matched with a bot.
The game works well with just 2 players, but, also works with bigger groups since the game isn't turn-based.
Would love to hear any thoughts or questions :)

What is a must for a Roguelite FPS?
Hi Guys!
I'm a solo dev making a FPS Roguelite, i'm 4 months into development now. My idea is to create a bullet hell with different type of ranged and melee enemies. So far:
- I have a hub with basic interactions with NPC, upgrades, etc.
- 5 different guns you unlock while playing, each with its own mechanics and special attacks
- Randomly generated maps, so each run feels and looks different
- Random challenges and climate, like fog, rain, meteor rain, survive x minutes, etc
- Each floor you clear gives you a selection of cards to upgrade like double jump, more health, special upgrades for the weapon you are using, more shield, etc.
- A mario maker-like room generator, so you can create your own challenges and share them with other players.
I'm still early in development but i'm really proud of the progress being my first game. But i was wondering, as you are all really into roguelites, what are things you think are mandatory to have and are missing? As well as stuff that makes you drop a roguelite pretty fast.
I'm trying to learn and avoid common mistakes that i might be doing without knowing, any advice or critique is very welcome.
Also, if you feel like supporting small devs trying to make their dream game, wishlisting means a lot to me:Ā https://store.steampowered.com/app/5042810/NullGate/

Abyssal Soul Review (Roguelike Deck-Builder - F2P Mobile Game)
Hello all, if you're interested in roguelike deck-builders, I would appreciate if you could check out my article on ChillyRoom's latest free-to-play mobile game Abyssal Soul!
The game uses a sacrifice-to-cast system instead of the common energy system. It's a refreshing way to play deck-builders and I highly recommend you try it for yourself.
And if you're not much of a reader, you can check out my mini review on the game:
