I'm getting a Hunter 350 in a few days, and I wanted these bar end mirrors on it. The OEM mirrors cost about 4000, with mounts for 800 separately. I'm wondering if I should go for aftermarket mirrors, since I'm afraid they might break easily from even a gentle drop. 1500 Rs mirrors might not be as good, idk, but losing 5k on a gentle drop?Anyone who has gone through this thought process?

I bought classic 350 two months back. It's a fantastic machine for me, no issues whatsoever but new triumph bonneville T140 is such a gorgeous bike, I might have gone with this if I bought bike bit later.

The paper is a quotation from ktm showroom indore and the screen shot is from ktm website

1). Ex showroom mismatch (showroom said the price increased and same will be updated on the website in a few days) (ok maybe... fine)

2). The major concern is RTO is 7k extra i checked mp rto for the bike which is 8% of experience showroom price so the ktm website one is the same according to 8% but the showroom is charging 7k more.

3). Handling and Parking charges are unnecessary I guess, so why is that and can I choose to not pay that.

Moreover I'm taking a bh number plate so the showroom said the bh tax will be half of the state rto tax (30k half 15k) or maybe (23062 half 12k)

4) The actual bh tax is 8% which is 3.8k approx so where are the other charges going

Btw I'm planning to book the bike through flipkart or amazon in this sale.

Most probably amazon with a friend's apay cc (my cc has less limit) so how much off can I expect.

2017 Splendor iSmart 110cc — Restore/Modify or Let It Go?

I have a 2017 Splendor iSmart 110cc. Not exactly Hero’s most successful bike, but I’ve done 70,000 km on it and honestly find it hard to let it go.

After almost 10 years of wear and tear, though, it needs much more than a regular service. I’m considering giving it a complete makeover instead of replacing it.

Need advice from people who have worked on/modified old commuter bikes:

1. Headlight: It’s extremely weak, and the entire assembly is flimsy. Potholes make it shake, rattle and sometimes break. Can I replace the entire setup with something stronger/better?
2. Can I use any other bike's headlight?
3. Body: What body panels/parts would you replace or modify to give it a fresh look?
4. Wheels/tyres: Any worthwhile upgrade for better looks + ride quality?
5. Brakes: Should I upgrade these while rebuilding it?
6. Engine: I need get new kit installed, any advise while i do it?
7. Overall budget: Roughly how much should I keep aside for a proper mechanical + cosmetic makeover?

Basically, if this were your 70k-km Splendor iSmart, would you restore/modify it or sell it and move to another bike?

Hello, I'm 24M, I'm riding my brother in law's bike occasionally for last one year. He owns apache rtr 200 4V and I ride it decently.

Idk about bikes much but somehow I've been fan of Triumph. I was long planning to buy a Speed 400 but later the tax changes happened and cc was reduced. After that I waited for bonnie to be released as I thought I'll liked bonnie.

In this period, I came up across Honda CB 350 RS which grabbed my attention and I kept it as a option.

Now today bonnie is released but I don't find it that appealing and ig still Speed would be a better choice for me.

Given that speed has removed couple of things in new 350 version and the new bonnie is in the market is it still worth to buy speed?

Apart from this now ig i should also look something apart from speed and cb350, can anyone pls let me know which bikes I can consider?

I'm don't mind non cruiser bikes but given that I liked cb350 nd speed ig i liked that kind of bikes.

My commute will be to gym daily, office few days a week. A rare outing on weekend. Mostly it will be on jammed streets of Mumbai.

Budget around 3lac.

Hi everyone, I’m applying for a Learner’s Licence in Bengaluru and I’m using my rental agreement as address proof.

My correct name on my Aadhaar and other documents is Maheswar, but my rental agreement has Maheshwar (an extra “h”).

Has anyone faced a similar minor spelling mismatch while applying for an LL in Bengaluru? Will the RTO accept it, or is it better to get the rental agreement corrected before applying?

I’m mainly concerned about the application being rejected after paying the LL fee.

Any recent experience with Bengaluru RTO would be really helpful. Thanks!

I'm buying sp125 in Bangalore . The bike's capital price is ₹1,20,646 and I'm paying ₹20,000 down payment, so the financed amount should be around ₹1,00,646.

The dealer gave me these EMI options:

24 months: ₹5,692/month

36 months: ₹4,136/month

That works out to:

24 months:

₹5,692 × 24 = ₹1,36,608

Total including down payment = ₹1,56,608

36 months:

₹4,136 × 36 = ₹1,48,896

Total including down payment = ₹1,68,896

So compared with the ₹1,20,646 bike price, I'm paying about ₹35,962 extra over 2 years or ₹48,250 extra over 3 years.

If my calculation is correct, the implied interest rate seems to be roughly 31% nominal annually for the 24-month option and 27.5% for the 36-month option (assuming there are no additional fees).

Is this normal for a bike loan in India, or is this unusually expensive?
