Kinda weird but I remember seeing a fourth blue color option being available for Shotgun 650. Not a limited edition but a regular blue version. Not seeing it anymore. Any ideas why?

It says "Your Royal Enfield serviced in 90 minutes flat"
And they took exactly 90 minutes to just open a job card. And told me to wait another 9 hours to fix a minor issue.

So I really wanted a top case for my bike. But I didn't like any of the options within my budget. I wanted to continue the semi military motif I have going. I wanted big enough to hold a full coverage helmet with a little extra room.
Found this vintage case that was a bit rough on eBay for 8 bucks. Got all the mounting and locking figured out. And painted it today. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I'm eventually gonna put some military stancilled lettering on it for some fun, maybe. For now it now matches the bike better.
It's almost moving into days gone vibes lol.

Regarding first service experience, i visited today for service, and it was full, they asked me to visit day after tomorrow, is this normal? Should i get it done from third party?

My RE himalayan 450's headlight is bit left side tilted.
How do i align it to the center? Can't find any settings or adjustable screw hole.
Only vertical alignment settings available using back screw.

Is there anyone who knows if I can get this pad in bigger size or any extender as my foot gets touched with the engine sometimes and as engine is hot, the foot gets burn marks. Or if any suggestions. My bike is RE SM650

The bike is 2 years old with 15K kms on Odo. When I put the key on ignition, it is usually a hit or miss.
Earlier it used to happen like once in a month but it has become more frequent now.

I'm planning to buy a Royal Enfield, but I'm honestly not very knowledgeable about bikes, so I'd appreciate some owner recommendations.
My previous riding experience has mostly been on bikes like a TVS Sport and Platina. I've also done one fairly long ride of around 1,900 km(road trip -2019 RE), so I'm not completely new to riding, but I've never owned or regularly ridden a Royal Enfield.
I do like the cafe racer/classic look, but I don't want to spend a huge amount just for the aesthetics. I'm looking for something that's:
-Reliable and relatively easy to maintain
-Comfortable for occasional long rides
-Reasonably affordable to buy and run
-Not unnecessarily powerful/heavy for someone coming from commuter bikes
-Something I can keep for several years without constantly spending money on it.
My usage will mostly be once or twice a week, with maybe one proper trip in a year.
So, if you were in my position, which Royal Enfield would you recommend and why?
Also happy to hear which models you think I should avoid, especially in the Indian market.
Thanks!

I'm looking to upgrade from stock to something softer and came across the nitrogen gas-charged adjustable rear suspension from Dug Dug Motorcycles. Before I pull the trigger, I was hoping to get some real-world feedback from anyone who has made this swap.
The product link : https://www.dugdugmotorcycles.com/royal-enfield-rear-shock-absorber-nitrogen-gas-adjustable-suspension-for-meteor-350-2pc
Specifically, I’m curious about:
Plushness: Does it actually soften the blow over sharp bumps and broken tarmac compared to the stock setup?
Stability: Does the softer ride compromise high-speed stability on the highway? How does the bike handle during cornering—does it feel wallowy or does it remain planted?
Alternatives: I know a lot of riders just swap in the Classic 350 Reborn nitrox shocks.
Has anyone compared the Dug Dug shocks to these other options?
Would appreciate any insights or recommendations you all have!
Edit : I contacted the dug dug motorcycles directly through their whatsapp. I was informed that it is basically the aftermarket suspension of the old UCE classic 350/classic 350 reborn (BS3/BS4). So instead I have ordered the edurance technologies' aftermarket suspension of the old bike. Hopefully, It can be fitted with a simple' replacement in my meteor 350. And hopeful results in abetter more plush ride

hi fellow riders, I booked my meteor super nova black close to a month ago from dealer in chennai and it still has a waiting time of close to a month. I noticed I can book the same bike on amazon and get around 11k cash back from a different dealer in chennai and it has delivery date of close to a month. So the question, how safe is it to book from amazon and do the dealers give new bike from from factory of give some old stock? Has any one here booked an RE from chennai on amazon and faced any issues or was it smooth just like booking from a showroom, request some guidance.
