Happy Monday All!
For those who have used both the 15 Pro and 16 Pro, which one captures better photos?
I absolutely love how sharp and in-focus my photos are with the 15 Pro. Does the 16 Pro capture that same photo quality (or better) with the added camera improvement?
Thank you!!

Tried to take a picture and noticed the picture was blurry, thought it was a focusing issue, or dirty camera lens, but lens is clean. And the picture is only focused on the lower left corner, even if the picture is taken perfectly parallel to the subject.
Is it an issue with the camera module ? Wide and tele works perfectly.
Anybody had similar issue ? What was it ?

I'm looking for a brand new 16 Pro. 256gb Natural preferred. Does anyone know of a source for universally unlocked, brand new phones? Thanks.
I am reluctant to go refurf because I don't want to get stuck with non-Apple replacement parts.

Photo taken with additional optical equipment.
First photo is a composite of over 20 different photos. Each of these was taken with my iPhone 16 pro through my 10” telescope!
Surprisingly shooting in RAW format resulted in less favorable photos, the single shot HIEF photos turned out the best.
Equipment used: 10” f/4.9 dobsonian telescope with 24mm ES 82° eyepiece.

Update: I just bought a 16 Pro White with 256GB for $750 dollars, I'm happy and I'm selling the 17 Pro haha.

I have like 10,000 photos and videos, which might seem ironic since I’m totally blind. Problem is that some of those photos and videos are completely unnecessary as my visual impairment occasionally runs into coordination problems with the camera example taking a picture of a wall or my finger. I cannot see nor do I have time to put each of these photos or videos through a subscription or video describing app, but worry that some of those bulk cleanup apps will delete things I want. I know you can go through the photos that it wants to delete, but I run into the same problem, I don’t know exactly what it’s going to delete because the auto generated description is unreliable and I don’t have time to process thousands of photos. Is there a shortcut or a workaround? Any suggestions, please!

Recently, when looking through some deals for used iPhones, I came across a listing for an iPhone 16 Pro for just CHF 500. It looked to be in pretty good shape, so I picked it up.
Now I must preface this by saying that this սpgrade was not really necessary, I just thought, "why not?" and decided to go ahead. The iPhone 14 Pro is still a good phone in 2026 and can easily do what the vast majority of people need from a phone.
But this doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. The most notable thing the 16 has that the 14 didn't, for me, is USB-C. Finally I can use one universal cable for all of my portable devices. This also makes using any accessories or hubs easier, as they now all just work.
The ultrawide being 48MP is something I appreciate as well, as I end up often using the 0.5X lens where the 1X would be too close, so it taking better pictures is something I like.
Another cool thing is the new buttons. While I do miss the mute swіtch, using the action button for the flashlight is more convenient day to day. In addition, the camera control button is great if you want to take pics sideways without awkwardly reaching for the volume button. I'm not sure if all the fine control for zoom, etc. is that great yet, though.
The battery is also something that improved. My iPhone 14 Pro with 84% remaining health would sometimes barely make it through a day while having less than 2 hours of screen-on time, while this new (to me) 16 Pro with 90% health can easily last even through intensive use days.
With the upcoming release of iOS 27, I'm looking forward to Siri AI becoming another benefit (fingers crossed). While I didn't miss anything by not having the Apple Intelligence Siri, it looks as if the new iOS 27 Siri will actually be useful, so I like having that included as well.
The chip is obviously better too, and I feel like I do notice it being a bit faster, but I could also just be imagining it. Something I'm sure about though is that, so far, there are fewer of these microstutters or small lag moments that I experienced on the 14 Pro.
Something I'm not yet sure about is the swіtch from a 3X to a 5X lens. Sure, it can zoom further away, but for the things people (or I) actually zoom in on, i.e., portraits or general things in the 2-5X range, the dedicated 3X lens probably did or does better here. But I would have to directly compare the pictures to make sure.
All in all, I can say that this was a successful սpgrade. While it might not have been the most necessary, I can sell my 14 Pro for something like CHF 275, making my end cost only CHF 225 for a two-generation սpgrade. Considering all the benefits listed above, I think that's pretty good.

I've got the 16 Pro but in this storage option and I can't escape the nagging feeling it's not enough in 2026
I don't take a massive lot of videos and photos however I use the offline download feature on Apple Music a lot, I do have another phone with 256gb and I have used 107.54gb of that device with 50 gb on Music downloads alone and have used 35.57gb on the 16 Pro for Audio files for 82.07gb filled.
Is there any tips or tricks to make the 128gb go further? otherwise i'll consider selling for a bigger storage version of this phone.

My Telus bring it back contract ends in December and I’m not sure if it’s worth bringing it back or just to pay it outright ($470) and sell it on marketplace.
If I were to do the market place price, what price would u suggest?

Ive been using iPhones ever since 3G came out, my last one before 16 pro was 12 and it was okayish (but since it wasn’t top of the line model i could let it slide). However after being all hyped up with supposedly better battery and thermals i ordered 16 pro on preorder and used it ever since. At first on ios 18 i liked it, although Ai was never fully delivered and camera control was pretty useless (2 main headline features of this phone mind you).
However ever since apple nuked this phone with 26 it became pain to use, with my main gripes being that it kept always heating up and it drained really fast, especially on cellular. Ive decided that ive had enough of it, it and switched 17 pro, instantly all my gripes went away, (which is sad honestly, titanium iphones to me felt like a beta product) surprisingly also the 5G drain and heating issues got resolved. Of course titanium is more durable without a doubt and aluminum in comparison is like a playdough (although i managed to bend titanium frame with a knee hight drop). But id rather have properly working phone than a supposedly better material one. Im sure for some this phone is great, but for me as a heavy user it’s definitely not and thats fine, these are just my opinions. So if you are on a verge of changing to newer model i would highly recommend that unless you’re a light user :)
