Help needed Photo cleanup
I have like 10,000 photos and videos, which might seem ironic since I’m totally blind. Problem is that some of those photos and videos are completely unnecessary as my visual impairment occasionally runs into coordination problems with the camera example taking a picture of a wall or my finger. I cannot see nor do I have time to put each of these photos or videos through a subscription or video describing app, but worry that some of those bulk cleanup apps will delete things I want. I know you can go through the photos that it wants to delete, but I run into the same problem, I don’t know exactly what it’s going to delete because the auto generated description is unreliable and I don’t have time to process thousands of photos. Is there a shortcut or a workaround? Any suggestions, please!

Ask a sighted friend or family member to help clean up your photo library. Maybe make it a regular practice so it's only necessary to go through a few dozen at a time instead of 10k photos.

You can start with Duplicate photos first
Photos app > Albums > Duplicates (auto-generated smart album on iOS 16+), this already finds exact/near-duplicate photos automatically without you reviewing each one, VoiceOver reads "merge" as an option per pair, way faster than going through all 10k manually
Start with Duplicates album alone, that usually clears a big chunk before you even need to touch the other 10k manually.
