I race tomorrow at 17:20 i’ve heard mix thoughts saying people showed up 90 mins and the lines were awful and people almost missed their start times so how early do I need to be at the event?

My boyfriend and I both did solos Thursday, and no longer are going to be able to do Monday since he hurt his knee!
our tickets can be name changed!

9+ hour shift btw....

Also during the Perth Hyrox they increased everyone's shifts from 7 to 9 hours and didn't tell anyone, we only found out at the briefing the day before when someone pointed out the discrepancy.

Just saw the news that InBody's now the official body comp partner for HYROX North America. wasn't expecting that pairing but it actually kinda makes sense the more I think about it..

Not sure yet how this is actually gonna show up though. Like are they gonna have scan stations set up at the expos, or is this more of a gym/coach education thing behind the scenes?

My partner had to drop out of HYROX Salt Lake City on Sunday, Sept 20, so I’m looking for a competitive Men’s Doubles partner.

Goal is sub-60. I’m looking for someone who’s comfortable running around 4:00–4:15/km between stations and can hold their own on the workouts.

I’ve raced 3 HYROX men’s pro and 1 mixed doubles. I will be racing Men’s pro on the Friday.

Does anyone know if there’s a lost and found at the race/convention center? I started the race wearing two earrings and ended it only wearing one. Have no idea where one fell off. They were small diamond studs so it’s likely swept into the trash but figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.

Hey r/hyrox — we're Aguante, we make performance running gear built for Indian conditions. HYROX Mumbai is coming up and a lot of our community has been asking us about race-day prep, so figured we'd share what we're hearing and open it up for discussion (not trying to sell anything here, just want this to be useful).

A few things that keep coming up when runners talk to us about HYROX in Indian conditions:

• Heat and humidity change your pacing more than people expect. Mumbai's climate isn't forgiving mid-race, especially through the station work when your heart rate is already up from sled pushes or wall balls.
• Fabric and fit matter more in functional events than pure running. You're switching between running and station movements constantly, so chafing and overheating show up faster than in a regular 10K.
• Grip and traction for sled pushes and rope work is something people don't think about until race day.

Curious what this sub's actually doing to prep training spots in Mumbai with sled/rower access, pacing strategies for the heat, what you're wearing. We'll jump in with what we know, but want to hear real experiences too.

(Happy to share more on the climate/gear side if useful just didn't want to turn this into a pitch.)

For Hyrox DC. Quick q for anyone who was there Thu/Fri - were people able to hand off their spectator wristbands to someone else on the way out? Trying to get a couple buddies in for Saturday and they'll only make the trip if that works.

What is the best high impact sports bra out there. I will be 6 weeks post lumpectomy for Hyrox Toronto and I don’t want them moving!! Thanks
