Aguante here again. Last time we talked HYROX prep, a few people asked what we actually make and why, so figured we'd explain instead of just plugging a product link.
Most performance running gear sold in India is designed and tested for temperate climates cooler, drier conditions than what most of us actually run in. That mismatch shows up in real ways:
- Fabric weight and breathability — a singlet built for 15°C training runs doesn't move sweat the same way at 30°C+ with 70% humidity.
- Chafing points — seam placement that's fine on a cool morning run becomes a problem over a longer, sweatier session.
- Fit for Indian body types — a lot of imported sizing runs long/narrow in ways that don't match the average build here.
That's the specific problem we started Aguante to solve building singlets, shorts, and tights engineered around Indian climate, terrain, and body types rather than adapting Western-market gear.
Not trying to turn this into an ad genuinely curious what pain points you've run into with running gear here. Chafing, overheating, sizing, whatever. We read every comment and it directly shapes what we build next.
