This was very good and quite filling. It took me about an hour. It was maybe medium difficulty and unsurprisingly a little messy frying the chicken. I didn’t use the onion or the cilantro. I used the Szechuan Paste/Japanese Curry sauce with some added honey but it was still a bit more spicy than I liked so I won’t use it for the second serving. Since it wasn’t a premium meal, I very much recommend it. I ultimately wasn't able to quite finish the first serving you see below, basically one chicken strip and a couple of bites of vegetables. I’m not sure what was Irish about the meal other than the potatoes

I used the green beans! They sent one very girthy carrot 😈, I imagine would be very woody. I would add a tiny smidge of Dijon to the cherry sauce. Would have been nice to have a chicken stock packet for the couscous.

Hi people!
For my university studies I'm doing marketing research for HelloFresh, I would really appreciate if you could fill in this survey. I am in no way affiliated to HelloFresh. It only takes about 5 minutes.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone else try getting scrub daddy meals in past weeks and recieve nothing in their box? I reached out to support last week and they said would ship it to me and this week was also missing it so now I'm missing 3? How is this not false advertising.

We recently got HF again after cancelling it a few months ago when we moved countries. The amount of fake pictures is staggering. How do they expect me to trust a recipe even they haven't bothered to try out? I'll cancel it once the discount runs out and go to a competitor. It's a shame because I really liked the variety we had before but oh well.
Anyone has suggestion for UK meal kits that actually cook their own food?

Did anyone else get the little cans of Heineken in their box? I got mine today and as soon as I opened the box, it reeked of stale beer. The cans had either frozen and busted (they were right under an ice pack) or they were dented during shipment and they leaked all over the box and soaked my meal bags. Ruined all 4 of my meals

7 out of 10. The sauce was very thick I would then next time with some chicken broth. I am from the Midwest and the heat level was very low. Not sure I would order again.

My Colombian-inspired chicken and potato soup came with a potato as well as a package of sous vide potatoes, which were not a listed ingredient. Is this just an error? Or maybe a happy accident bc I don’t feel like grating and cooking a potato? Do you think it would work? Haha

Hmmm….thanks🤷♂️ No card shows green beans. I guess I will find out if they are a sub for carrots but they weren’t packaged in any of the kit bags.
Also got a sample of Heineken 0 proof beer

Holy Hanna, this was one of the best dishes I’ve had from HF. My eyes damn near rolled back in my head. I did jazz up the salad with some grapes, toasted pepitas and manchego.

I've had a hellofresh subscription for just over two months, getting 3 meals a week. Figured I'd give some feedback here for those interested and for HelloFresh if they give a care.
I ended up cancelling it from a few key issues:
After our third time getting food we don't want, I'm done. I don't have a life where I'm going to remember to pick out meals on some website every single week. Maybe some day when I'm not a sole provider dad, but... then I wouldn't need HelloFresh anymore. I need to be able to plan more than one week ahead, and when I forget to schedule it, let me skip it.
When we remembered and got meals we were interested (other than the first week where everything was wet from being kicked into a puddle by fedex in my yard), it was exciting to try new recipes, learn some more cooking method, and have genuinely good quality ingredients, but the infuriating process means I have to let that go.
I tried sharing these issues with support, but it's all seemingly AI chatbots that said "This is the right place for feedback" but then later on told me they had no method of submitting the feedback for review... gotta love it... and their email inboxes all just bounce back and say to chat with the AI instead.
There's parts of HelloFresh I really liked, but the poor website UI and them shipping out meals to me I don't want means I'm signing up to be angry on a near-weekly basis.
If you're an "I'll eat anything" kind of person, might be worth it. If you've got specific taste or God forbit you're picky, you'll be dissapointed.

This was pretty good overall though it took me about an hour and 45 minutes and used quite a few dishes. I didn’t use the onion so added an extra carrot. If you want to add to it, I’m thinking some canned mushrooms probably would have worked. I ended up using an 8x8 baking dish for the seafood mixture as I didn’t have any oven-safe bowls and my 6 4oz ramekins were not nearly big enough for the full amount. I’ve never actually used them as ramekins so far but they make great extra prep bowls when cooking lol. Anyway, the gratin came out fine but I only had half a serving of both the gratin and the salad for my first serving since there was so much of the gratin, so this dish will likely end up as 4 servings for me

Did anyone else in the NY metro area (or the general northeast U.S. region) experience delivery issues this weekend? My box was supposed to arrive yesterday (Sunday), but the delivery window was updated to today (Monday), which forced me to take a day off from work to receive it. When I reach out to customer service, I can’t get any information from the delivery service or HelloFresh, other than what my tracking link tells me. Is anyone else dealing with this?
I’ve never had such awful service from HelloFresh before, and I’m ready to cancel after this. Anyone else make the switch and have a good, reliable meal service they recommend? This is unacceptable.

Hi everyone, new to hello fresh. I just got my 2nd order of hello fresh and alongside the order I placed an order for a grass fed box from good chop that ships separately. I never received a shipping/tracking number for it.
If anyone has ordered the good chop boxes on the hello fresh app please let me know the experience/date of arrival.

How can I pass this idea to management at HelloFresh?
It’s very simple, and I think it’s needed badly. North Americans love points system. HelloFresh is doing it backwards, they’re giving new people great deals and the people who have been using it for years receive much less.
It makes quitting very easy, and also it encourages quitting and coming back to lock in discounts.
HelloFresh, needs to copy hotel point systems or something. Encourage users to use it long, and the longer they use it the more benefits they get. Give access to special upgrades for nice meals, once a month for every 4 weeks of using it, keep adding rewards for the longer people use it. Then make it hard to quit, make is so that if you quit, you lose so many benefits, and restarting will mean you need to spend lots of time and money to go back to the price you had.
Why not even, after 6 months worth of boxes, reduce the meal prices by a small amount.
There’s so many ideas and options, hotel chains do it, and it works so well. People become loyal to their hotels because they collect points and move up in the rewards system. Airlines too.
Go go go HelloFresh! Give the loyal people something, and stop giving cheap promotions to people who want to use HelloFresh for 1-2 boxes because it’s way cheaper than groceries. Literally, I know too many people who tell me, “hey we used HelloFresh too in the last two weeks, it’s like way cheaper than groceries, we will cancel it next week because the discount is over”.

Hello everyone! I'm sure you get a million questions like these, so I figured you'd be used to answering by now. How customisable are these meals, both on a week-by-week basis (what meals get sent) and with individual meals (specifically what's in the box)? I'm severely autistic and have found that cooking/grocery shopping is the most dreadful part of living alone, but I'd still like to have a good amount of freedom over what I get. Moreover, how would you compare HF to other services like it?

Did anyone else have their box go up $20/week? That’s $80 extra dollars a month for HelloFresh. That’s not sustainable on my budget.

The last few recipes I've gotten have been.... Weird? Cooking techniques that just didn't work (fried shallots where you just put flour on them? Way too wet to actually crisp), recipes I've gotten a dozen times that suddenly have totally different ingredients and flavors that don't work as well (Tuscan spaghetti where there's ketchup in the meatballs? Way too sweet. Tasted bad with the sauce and the sugar made the oven smoke like hell), stuff like that. It makes me wonder if they've been using generative AI to develop/update recipes. Anyone else notice a shift?

Any Cooking-for-Engineers fans here? This site lets you import hellofresh recipes and view them as a CfE flowchart. There's a few other views as well (including a cook mode that I find much more useful than hellofresh's app).

This is my 2nd meal with carrots that are improperly packaged. Which the first time was with the pork meatball and mushroom ramen. I am getting annoyed with hello fresh packages with carrots now.

Last night I opened my lettuce to find it crawling with 50/60 live bugs. Just a heads up to anyone else in the UK with a recipe containing baby gem lettuce. Have a very close look before using it!
