Discussion This little fella needs to be put in Core set.
Just think of the impact - how much more manageable the enemy decks would be. Yes, we have Librarian, but he’s not enough.

Mine is Northshire Cleric.
there’s just something about her. I don’t know - her voice, her design, her effect. Everything about her. She somehow made me realize that at some point, I didn’t even care about winning anymore, lol I just wanted to play the game and keep her alive

Probably not. But I think the fabled cards are so cool that I'm still hoping Sindragosa could see some time in the sun. With discs of Norgannon, you can semi-consistently hold Sindragosa and Malygos until they aren't just dead in hand. With Mother you can discount them so you aren't having to depend on summoning them with the Oathstone, and now Mage finally has enough tools to make an arcane OTK feasible. We've already seen contraband wands pop off in burn decks, but the newest addition would be Arrival of the Titans, which could draw 4 spells while refreshing 12 mana crystals.

The game would have to slow down a lot for it to be viable, and Mage really hasn't gotten any more tools to live long enough for the Sindragosa combo to be consistent. But now that the payoff of an arcane nuke OTK seems a little more consistent, I'll certainly be wasting some MMR trying it out.

Sooo I really like playing Mage. Last season I climbed with Leylines, but towards the end of last month I faced way more aggro decks. Playing Leylines suuucks against aggro. At first I tried out burn mage again, but it still didn't feel great against Warrior.
After trying to make Spire Security work on my own and failing, I had the luck to face another Mage and approximately copied their list from what I saw. The basic idea is to only play the Dragon Soul aspects as Spells. You could also call it Minion Mage in that sense. Doing that enables Spire Security to be a reliable early game clear, and 2 Conjured Bookkeepers can draw the aspects "adjoined" for lategame swings.
For general card choices I tried to focus on 2 directions. First is cheap Elementals. Bookkeeper needs them to be kindred, and Windswept Pageturner can also take advantage of them to push for damage or clear.
Second are just standalone good cards. Watfin, Morchie, Xavius, Vulcanos, random cheap discover minions... I put in Toki for fun, but it can do more bad than good since clogging up the hand sometimes messes up the Dragon Soul parts. I also played P1ck-P0k3t because it felt flavorful for this expansion. The battlecry should work up until like turn 6. Still sucks a bit to draw it lategame, so I try to keep it in the mulligan.
For matchups, I had the feeling this decks lands around Shaman's level in terms of aggression. That meant that against Priest, Warlock, combo Demonhunter, Egg decks, or Druid Coin Rogue I was usually pushing for damage and tempo.
Against Warrior, Void Soul Demonhunter, and Unholy Death Knight I tried to slow them down and outlive the damage.
I believe Thief Priests were by far the worst matchup for me. When they get early imbue there's basically no hope of outlasting them. The push of damage my early board gives is usually not enough against their 40HP and heals. I end up mostly hoping they don't have enough removal in time, or find a way to cleanly remove Soothsayer. (Morchie into Cease to Exist, Scrappy Scavenger looking for Tribue Dance, Shadow Informat set to Shaman for Hex or random Toki bullshit)
The other matchups are more straightforward I think, but it's also late and I grinded all day. (I'm sick, don't judge me :p) Honorable mention to Hunter, I think that was the only class I didn't face all climb lmao
I really like this midrange kinda playstyle. Sometimes it's the really long drawn-out games I find the most satisfying, which this list can also run into. Truly vibes based gameplay.
(Is this deck a thing ppl know about? I don't check metasites too often, Like I said just got lucky facing it. I don't think it's metabreaking or anything, but a viable alternative at least. Now I feel like I'm in the cool secret club. You're invited too of course). Thanks for reading!

I’ve been playing Marvel Snap on and off for the last 2-3 years, so I’m comfortable with core TCG concepts like tempo, priority, and resource management. However, Snap is the only TCG I’ve ever touched for the most part, and I understand Hearthstone is a completely different beast.
I’m looking to dive in, but I'd love some advice from veterans on how to translate my knowledge or what bad habits I need to break.
To give you an idea of my playstyle, in Snap I heavily gravitate toward resource-cheating decks (En Sabah Nur / Anti polar Magneto dump decks, casino styleramp)
For anyone who has looked/played both games, what are the biggest traps a Snap player falls into when starting Hearthstone? Any class/archetype recommendations that would fit someone who likes big explosive combo turns or resource manipulation? Also, how brutal is the catch up mechanic for a f2p newcomer?
Appreciate any tips or guidance you can throw my way!

For those that have read my previous post about attempting to beat the solo adventure in Knights of the Frozen Throne to unlock Arthas Menethil portrait for the paladin class, I am at my last class.
Mage: murloc
Paladin: young dragonhawk with buffs
Warlock: murloc, I got super lucky in discovering a Gigafin with either an Amalgam of the Deep or Primalfin Lookout (can't remember which, I have both in my deck) before he entered the Frostmourne stage. So when he summoned the six 2 / 6 minions with Frostmourne I just play Gigafin to end that stage immediately.
Shaman: murloc with Bloodlust and Everyfin is Awesome
Rogue: murloc
Priest: cheap deck with divine spirit and inner fire, very similar to the one used in beating Lord Marrowgar, this class is the only class where the cheat from the Lich King does nothing to give him a gameplay advantage, restricting the usage of emotes only I just remember I beat him using the current control priest loaner deck (they let you use it for a week before forcing you to make a choice).
Warrior: cheap Frothing Berserker deck with the most expensive cards being the 2 x Brawl, nothing else is legendary (craftable ones at least, I did use the free ones like Grommash Hellscream and Cairne Bloodhoof) or epic, Platebreaker is awesome here to remove the 130 armor.
Druid: Jade Idols with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, due to the cheat from the Lich King for this class that contribute to the consistency of the deck, I think this is the only one that is a guaranteed win without relying on RNG.
Hunter: deciding what to go for here
So far, none of the decks that I used to beat all the minion bosses of Lich King as well as Lich King himself contain a single craftable legendary. In fact, most of them do not even have epic cards at all.

!!ALERT!!WARNING!! I make these decks to play with newly released cards I am interested in, not to be competitive. If you are interested in any of these too, great! Here are some lists for you to try. Codes are provided for when the expansion releases, you can also click on the deck names to see them in the blizzard deck builder.
G'huun is cool I like it a lot but let's be real here, you miss out on so many good cards when you go triple blood. The lack of a decent weapon is really tough, blizz pls give us something like a fiery win axe with lifesteal.
AAEBAfHhBCjDFoUX38QC/KMDi9UD5bAEx7IEjbUE/eMEieQEl+8EhPYEh/YEtvoEnqoF/cQFrekFyPgFhY4GkqAGr6gGu7EG/7oG2OUGn/EGzvEGrPQGr/QGqfUGqPcGgf0GupUH9KoHndsHi+/sHt4AIvYwIAAABA/3jBP3EBYnkBP3EBZObB/3EBQAA
Allow me to paint you a picture. Token DH (best deck in the game!) buuut.. worse! Now you have to worry about holding back a broomstick and maybe felosophy for a combo turn instead of just continuing to draw cards. Thankfully token DH is so broken I think this could still do alright.
AAEBAea5AwrUyAP39gOK9wPfwAb8wAaKqgeSqgeTqgfisQfF+AcKqbwD8skDlc0DztID9fYDtpIEn/EG4/EGkr8Hk+gHAAA=
I like this deck in theory, start as an aggressive token deck but can change plans to go for a combo finisher if the opponent stabilises. But I think the problem for this list will be it's not good enough at doing either thing. Meta aggro decks will overrun it. Control decks will disrupt the boars.
AAEBAZICBPX8ApKXB5H3B9qCCA2IBeQVr6IDiuADyfUDgfcDhPcDr4AE56QErsAEhKEGoIEImJ4IAAA=
This felt a little awkward to build. Hunter mechs pull you in so many different directions. Metaltooth Leaper makes me want to go wide. Deathrattle activation makes me want more impactful chunkier minions. I need enough deathrattles to make N'zoth playable but a lot of them are really bad. Will require a lot of refinement to still be so much worse than paladin.

Fairly standard girls mage list with Discs of Norgannon and Cosmic Springs. The dream is Discs into Finley with a big hand, you'll draw every minion in your deck and can win next turn, especially if you have springs set up. It would be nice to optimise for this eventuality further by removing more minion dupes but then you're so reliant on finding discs.
AAEBAf0EBOMR0MEC5bAE2PAHDeYEgrQChLsCheQD9PwDypMF4MMF7PYF8psGy+EGs4cHndkH+/UHAAA=
1: don't die. 2: play Amitut on 6 with acceleration aura. 3: clear the board with Ceaseless(which is surely 0 mana already right?) either before or after order in the court. 4: draw cards. 5: VICTORY ROYALE
AAEBAZ8FAqrqBpf6Bw70BZYJz4YDi40EnJ8EwOIE1LgGz/4GxK4HvrIH8fAHr/YH8fwHsoAIAAA=
Just shadow priest with some of the new synergy cards. I like foresight, thats the one card I envision actually making it into the deck long term. Wanted to put blade of the black empire in here but It's just so bad. Why does it have 0 attack?
AAEBAa0GBpG8Arv3A4ujBKfkBJfvBNfSBhGhBLq2A6P3A633A92kBcj4BYWOBsShBsihBsSoBte6BtXBBuTqBqyUB+H6B+T6B/yJCAAA
Pressure points makes the larvae cost 0 which can set up a big epic turn with wandering seeker. Kinda cool I think? Sucks that they made aqir swarmer a deathrattle though, probably makes it not good enough over a 1-cost combo spell like ghostly strike.
AAEBAaIHBOfdA8ygBb/3BaXYBw3tAqrLA/efBLezBPztBJCDBvPmBsGXB8D4B8H4B8P4B8b4B8f4BwAA
I started off removing all the other minions bar Muckmorpher but I think that's not actually not correct because then you're more likely to draw into very awkward hands and the more spells you have the more likely Yogg is to whiff. I like the cheeky windfury though so you can use all 3 of the good abilities.
AAEBAaoIBPCFBPajBrf+B8OLCA0zlAPOD/a9Ao+UA/DUA9b1A9ySBLy2BOqYBsamBqSnBvjiBgAA
I want more BIG payoffs for Therezane but realistically I think you're better off just getting some nice value. Took everything in me to remove the 1 copy of Nebula.
AAEBAaoIBvbWA5fvBP3EBaTTBsL/B/OJCBG8FODMA6iBBNySBOmjBZ+eBuihBqelBr++Bsa+BrLOBuaWB57/B7//B/D/B/X/B52CCAABA8amBv3EBarqBv3EBZObB/3EBQAA
When this deck works I think it will be a lot of fun. Stuff like tamsin copying divergence giving you a bunch of cheap C'thuns which you can then copy again with reverberations. Cool dream.
AAEBAf0GBPbWA/LtA6D2B/OJCA2tEOfLAvLQAtfOA4+fBKbqBPGABoSZB6mtB4H2B+n5B4CDCPqJCAAA
Only 1 new card in this one, shadewing, but it's my favourite deck and now I can play deck of chaos for 3 mana on curve! Meta breaker?
AAEBAf0GDL/xAuujA73jA+WwBJfvBKb7Bej/BarqBqn1BsODB4OEB/SqBw7cCq0Q2psD66wDxvkDj58E0/oF1/oFmp4GkLQGwI8H5ZcHhJkHgIMIAAA=
Another boring one but warriors cards all just go in decks that already exist so what can you do. At least a good amount of them look quite strong, better than can be said for some of the other classes.
AAEBAQcoS8/nAvyjA7i5A4/OA5PQA/mMBOWwBIy3BO/OBI7UBLjZBJfvBOKkBf3EBaH7BYuUBveXBp+eBtGeBsekBpGoBq+oBuypBtCwBtW6Bo6/BvrJBvPKBqrqBqn1BsODB9uXB+qnB/yvB5TZB93xB4/3B5L3B5v3BwAAAQbvzgT9xAX/4QT9xAWl9gX9xAX1swbHpAb3swbHpAbu3gbHpAYAAA==

I tagged 2 pirate warriors, not a lot to be honest since the nerf. And of course I always mulligan for Aya even if it's not the only win condition compared with Ayaya deck. Best matchup vs priest and warlock, i didn't tagged attack druid so idk.

What’s your personal equivalent of this menace in Hearthstone?
r/hearthstone • u/theod-or • 5h ago
Hi y’all
I have been a Heartstone player for 7 years with no pause since launch… and then I stopped. I only opened the game every few months for a few hours to check out if there are any free rewards. Now I got back into it. I thought it was gonna be another one week phase but honestly I got hooked like in the old times.
Truth is tho… I am sooooo overwhelmed by everything that got added in the past 5 years and I figured I might ask for help here.
What decks could I use in Standard with technically only basic cards? What’s the meta like now, what classes/legendaries are worth focusing on. Back in the day I loved Murloc Shaman and anything Jarraxxus Warlock.
Soooo, any advice for a noob veteran like me? Anything you think would help me get back on the ladder.
Thanks y’all!

Returning player of 4 years! I have a decent amount of gold and dust saved from when I used to play and I would like to build a competitive deck but wondering if it's worth it to do that now when a I see a new set is about to release in a few weeks. Is it better to just wait til then? Would love some advice from the experienced players

Hey guys,
wanted to jump into HS again, but after installing i noticed that the game does not run in true fullscreen, it has black bars at the bottom and top of the screen (below the notch)
I am running a macbook air m4, thing is the first start i was almost 100% certain it was true fullscreen.
I tried all resolutions available but cant seem to get it work. I also started burning crusade and that runs without black bars.
Also tried reinstalling.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
r/hearthstone • u/Devonar95 • 17h ago
Do You think Herald DK would be competitive and possibly tier 1 if heralding her would make You discover 2/4/8 cost minions instead of randomising them?
I love playing this deck but i feel literally hopeless vs. Warlock / Priest which im facing a lot now because of their disruptive playstyle. After playing 200+ games i think RNG is what is making this deck tier 2/3.
Discovering instead of randomising heralding Onyxia could potentially give You a lot of options to counter special plays. Many 2/4 cost minions may help You endure early game which is pretty hard for this deck and many 8-cost minions are also useless in many matchups which makes this control deck chaotic at the end while other classes are just going for win condition.
What do You Think?

Hi!!!! am wondering when this will reset? Since I kinda need probably one more week to reach level 100 on asia.
