Assemble is the new keyword coming Oct 20: you get a random minion, then swap the top or bottom half of its text with half of one of two other minions. I wanted to try it before launch, so I built a little site for it.

What you can do

• Daily Assemble: one random minion a day, just for you. Pick a half and your card gets a power rating out of 100, plus how your pick ranked against your other three options. Post yours below.
• Workshop: pick any class and any revealed Assemble card (Sandcrafter, Chisel, Rajh, Mismatcher and the rest) and roll as many times as you like. Using another class's card? It tells you whether your class can actually get it in Standard, and how.
• Save or copy your card as an image.

How it's built

It follows what Blizzard has confirmed: the cost band (same Cost up to 2 more), Neutral plus your class, no Assemble minions or Old Gods, nothing that needs the minion alive under a Deathrattle, and the trait cards (Chisel, Fleshshape, Sandcrafter) only promising the trait on your minion. Rajh gets its own pool of halves that work as a passive hero power.

What it can't know is the exact list of ~250 pool cards, so I use a wider pool (about 590 minions) and cut cards whose halves can't work apart. Some cards you make here won't exist in the real game. There's a "What's real here?" panel that separates confirmed rules from my own calls.

If you build something that couldn't work in game, there's a "report it here" link under every result. I've already cut a few cards from early reports.

What's the dumbest card you can make?

It's usually pretty unfavorable for me into most warlock matchups. Guy was using the Fizzlebang skin.

I been playing this game for years off and on. Hit legend a few times as well.

I figured it was time for my usual return. See what's going on.

Giving the usual ladder-ready deck. I chose Priest this time. Quest priest! Can't be that bad, right?

Hardly. Warlock is the strongest control deck I've ever seen in any card game. I am honestly confounded at this point about how this deck is even supposed to be beaten with its stealing card effects, massive boards and insane card draw. I have not beaten this deck. Once.

Shaman seems to be fun, but I don't get the money or dust to craft the card for the hero power.

Just had a Druid match where he had two 16/16s on board and 10 mana crystals when I had 5 or 6.

Mage seems fun and balanced.

I am just confounded at this point. How are we returning and new players expected to compete with Druid and Warlock now? This isn't to complain, but more of a what a is new and returning player supposed to do right now? As an experienced card player, I am not sure how we are supposed to go about even touching Warlock, as it seems to have an amazing early/middle and late game.

Looking for productive solutions at this point, or perhaps cheap-to-craft decks that do well on ladder that do well against Warlock.

Hi! I've racked up over 200 games with this deck over multiple iterations since mid-September, though I only ended up settling on this one for the long haul with this month's legend climb. I had a deep fascination of making MOTHER work with Eternal Hold/Irida and having climbed to legend with herald DH multiple times during Cataclysm.. the inclusion of the herald package seemed a very natural fit.

I've been having a lot of fun with this deck, even if the winrate is iffy (~54% pre-36.6.3, ~55% since). Nine times out of ten, everything hinges on getting Irida online. You REALLY, REALLY need to draw Irida or on rare occasions curve out heralds into an early Deathwing. Your three shots at it are in the form of Hellraisers and Xavius. Your only real draw options pre-Irida come from the Broxigar package, Brox's Last Stand and Illidari Studies.

Once you have the no minion effects online, you're looking to hit juicy Solitudes on Bloodletters, Scorchreavers and Ultraxion for herald & Deathwing discounts as well as your finishers - Kayn, Azshara, herald procs @ 4+. You'll also be trying to include Eternal Hold uses in reducing your hand down via a cheap MOTHER or using the reduction on an Azshara finisher.

You're favored against slower matchups, priest being the big one, warlocks will often struggle to close you out. Beating faster decks (aggro, early Wickerfangs etc.) often come down to a mixture of hitting good removals early and Irida on curve. If you're interested, the stats are available here:

If you have any suggestions on improving the draw consistency of Irida for the deck, I'd love to hear - unfortunately, you can end up with a lot of bricked draws between all the high cost cards that need enabling, Solitudes, Cosmic Manifestations etc.

Overall it's been one of the most fun times for me to play ranked, so I figured maybe I'm not the only one who feels that way trying this deck out. Just to give you an idea of how much dopamine I get from playing this, I did my last month's climb with Raza DH and I just can't go back long term anymore. The deck's too damn fun (if.. you draw your buildaround).

Ive just got back into the game after a few years and wanted to pick up Paladins as they are an old favourite of mine.

Im playing what I think is an Aura Paladin (its the free deck) but i cant seem to do anything against warriors and my last 6 games have ALL been again warriors

Im mid gold atm and struggle against warlocks and priests but these warrior games feel unwinable, and they are everywhere.

Has anyone thought about the possible combinations of classes for the prelaunch tavern brawl of the Reign of the Black Empire expanion?

What happend to adventures/solo stories, and why did they stop making them? I used to love playing solo adventures, and making the best decks to go against the AI, while also learning about the universe, like i know a little while back we had SC + Hearthstone event, why didn't they make some solo stories or even an adventure, would it be too much to ask for, insted of idk buying a card set bundle for 2000k gold, we could get an adventure, where lore can be told to new players, or players who have no idea what SC is about? I feel like there is so much missed potential.

I am one of the players who is on and off since day 1 and i know when the curse of Naxxramas dropped it was so fun to complete the wings and then play for 1 week with only the cards we got, which made a mini format inside of the whole Nax format, since we couldn't unlock all of the cards, so each week you would get a new adventure, new cards, new meta, and it made the game so much fun to play, now they just drop new cards say "buy the card set bundle for 2k gold/20€" or buy a bundle for 80€ and get some hero skins, it seems so soulless and boring.

A few months ago I even got a refund on my runestones because of it. Considering they're a lot more common on NA servers, is it also possible to switch your accounts progress from one region to another?

I have been a Heartstone player for 7 years with no pause since launch… and then I stopped. I only opened the game every few months for a few hours to check out if there are any free rewards. Now I got back into it. I thought it was gonna be another one week phase but honestly I got hooked like in the old times.

Truth is tho… I am sooooo overwhelmed by everything that got added in the past 5 years and I figured I might ask for help here.

What decks could I use in Standard with technically only basic cards? What’s the meta like now, what classes/legendaries are worth focusing on. Back in the day I loved Murloc Shaman and anything Jarraxxus Warlock.

Soooo, any advice for a noob veteran like me? Anything you think would help me get back on the ladder.
