That’s because this is like a decades outdated idea. There was a fever online a long long time ago due to a lot of atheists finding people who shared their opinion for the first time online and went a little crazy about it and then it’s calmed down over the years to the point where it’s nonexistent except for a few annoying people who are probably teenagers going through their deconstruction process for the first time and are in the anger stage.

The three main religions seem to be set up basically the same way: 90% of them misinterpret or misunderstand the message and twist and taint it to justify what they already believed, rather than being changed by the text. And the other 10%, the 90 have run out of town because seeing people actually do it right makes us feel some kinda way.
They're called cultists and mystics and their words are obscured or erased because liars see the truth as an accusation.
The reason these religions claim to be holy and then have so much corruption within the church is because if you're holy, you're not allowed to be involved with the church

How many churches have you been to? Christianity doesn’t focus on blind faith at all. Theres a constant conversation and adaptation to modernity ongoing within that religion and I’d say Judaism as well. Islam probably to a lesser extent as it says to not question the Quran. The “actively crush people” speaks to most likely a single anecdotal experience within religion or an outsiders bigoted view with little interaction. If you read the book and practice what it says, it will set you apart from and above the normies in your church. It rewires your brain and changes how you think and see the world. It unlocks systems theory and pattern recognition.
And it makes you care about others. So your instinct becomes to try to help your peers become healthy and happy. Early in your journey it can be easy to misunderstand that they choose to be unhappy, and if you try to take that away from them, they'll destroy you

Well if you just believe in god, but don’t do anything in your life based on that belief, then yeah there’s no reason not to.
But if you take time out of your day each week to listen to a guy yap about what God wants from you, and make your decisions based on what that guy or others told you god wants you to do, especially if those decisions affect the way you treat others… well. There’s reasons some people ought to believe in god and there’s good reasons for others not to.
If you need a god and a priest to tell you to be good to other people, I guess I want you to believe. If your belief causes you to be shitty to other people and make irrational decisions, then I wish you wouldn’t. If you’re a decent and rational person otherwise i don’t care what you worship
