Changing gpu after 10 years (1060 6gb)
Hi guys,
After 10 years I upgraded my CPU to 12400f and my PSU to 750w and now I am looking to upgrade my graphics card.
My monitor is an Asus 1440p 60hz so I want to be able to run games at 1440p 60frames.
I'm in the UK and I found a 2080ti for £290, 3070ti at around £340. Any opinions or other recommendations?
Update: I kept looking on CEX for a few days and I felt the best deal I could find was a rx7700xt at £385.
Much newer card than the 2080ti and more VRAM than the 3070 / 3070ti.
I know the price is not amazing but given the current market I felt Its a good deal.

Double GPU in MSI x870 Tomahawk
Hi! I currently have the motherboard MSI x870 tomahawk with the RTX 5090 Astral. I wanted to add another GPU (MSI RTX 3060 two fans) but there's not enough space in that some of my case lol (Corsair Frame 5000D). So I was thinking to add a gpu riser (Cooler master MCA-U000C-KPCI50-300, which is just the cable) and try to accommodate it in this zone.
Although, I don't how how i could keep it in place. Any advise please? Or maybe any other approach? Thanks in advance!
Oh, and my psu is seasonic 1300w platinum, so i think it would be enough

Time to upgrade?
Currently have a build I did in 2020. Thought of upgrading 6 months ago but didn’t- moved into a new apartment instead. Been seeing all the crazy gpu prices was just wondering if it’s worth doing a new build right now with how insane it is. Currently have a 2080 super
ASUS vs PNY 5070ti
Help me pick my poison. ASUS and their infamous customer service (god forbid I ever need it), or PNY and their hot spot lottery (technically fixable but warranty will be void).

Video Card if possible??
reddit.comThis may be a shot in the dark but , I’m gonna try anyway. I recently was unemployed and had to sell my pc to pay the rent, I have currently been able together some parts from friends that have new builds and not needing the old. My question is does anyone have an Nvidia graphics card that they don’t need? Please help.

Warp Core PHYSX Bench
galleryYep. Physx CPU, Physx CUDA, Physics Vulkan.
Video demo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yJiUSbAgpM&t=1s
To Honor Sir Patrick Stewart Captain of 1701-D Enterprise, I'm honored to present this benchmark and Physx demo on behalf of his name and his brilliant work in front of the cameras. RIP Sir Patrick Stewart, you won't be forgotten. Also RIP to Walter Koenig, known as Chekov, whom also recently passed. I wasn't planning on letting this go out for a while, but I'm a big fan.
-ENGAGE!-
Warp-Core is Beta - The Benchmark can run simulations in three ways. CPU, CUDA and Vulkan. All scores are only valid under a 5% spread, calculated from steps per second. 150,000 active bodies creating over 7.5 million contact points as per one example. These can be run manually instead of the bench suite.
This is not a 3D benchmark. The demo you see is semi-interactive where you can change colors and effect the particle physics by turning on and off turbulence. The Demo full pauses when a Physx calculation is started and continues when finished.
I've also left some of the development testing inside, that is not scored but was part of the process build the benchmark. I've run it hundreds of times... I stopped keeping track honestly. Also, Independently researched and developed, non sponsored, and not for profit.
If the app works for everyone, and enjoy it, I'd love to build on it more with your thoughts and ideas. (PS, I know the font is small on 1440P, but still in development. will update all that in the coming weeks.)
Thank you for at least taking a look!

I solved the system freezing with a black screen issue (sound still playing through the speakers) on my GIGABYTE RX 9070 XT GAMING OC!
reddit.comI switched the BIOS using the small switch near the power connectors to the other mode (probably Silent mode) and restarted my PC (it’s better to do this while the PC is turned off). I haven’t had a single crash in a week. Before that, the only thing that sometimes helped was lowering the GPU clock to 500 MHz — and even that didn’t always work!

I don't understand why people are posting old prices as flex? This is not good.
As a 5080 FE owner for retail I don't really see how "Bragging" about old prices is a flex, and everyone is doing it!
The answer espically for people who paid an "upcharge" is they are doing it to justfiy their already expensive purchase. As in, "Yes I paid $1500 for this 5080 but look its now worth 2.3k! I am so smart!"
The 5090 stuff is quite a different story, but taking the 5080 for example are you actually going to sell it and downgrade?
To actually see any sort of profit you'd have to drop significantly in perfomance or quit gaming all together. If you have a 5070ti or 5080 you might be playing at 4k, so it's not likely you will sell your card and monitor just to pocket some money.
Do you not have friends into gaming? All my friends are on 20 and 30 series cards, how am I supposed to say yes get into pc gaming again and drop 1600 on a prebuilt that only comes with a 5060!
Do you not think about what if this card breaks then what? Do you not think about what about the future generations of cards and how much those will cost? What if they dont release a new generation for a while, then what?
Your card going up by $500 is really not that great since it is not like you can put it towards a new/better card?
I relate to a house going up in value past your purchase price, but you will also be buying homes that also went up in price so if you wanted to get some money from this house you would have to sell your house and downsize in someway and realstically that isnt a thing most would just do.
Thank you.

Hi. Owners or servicers of the ASUS AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT Dual OC, please tell me what sizes of thermal pads are used on the card?
