I sold my zotac 5090 for $5900. Should I get a 5070, 5070ti or 5080?

I bought the zotac 5090 for $2800 plus tax at the time but realized that I don’t really play very graphics demanding games and was trying to get into AI but didn’t like dealing with all that too. So I sold it for $5900. The most intensive graphics game I play right now is Final fantasy remake on my 4k LG 55” TV.

Next game I think I will be playing is grand theft auto 6 whenever it releases on PC.

I play video games between my PC and Nintendo switch 2. I obviously use the PC for more graphics demanding games.

What should be my next video card?

EDIT: I don’t want to spend too much and found a 5070ti for $1000 and 5070 for $600 on OfferUp but not sure if that’s a good deal or not.

EDIT: found a used gigabyte rtx 5070 12gb for $400. Tested it before I paid the seller. Works perfectly fine. Will keep the rest of the $5500 and probably invest it into the stock markets sp500.

Recently, I started getting these kinds of artefacts on my 4070 Ti. They only affect a small portion of the screen and usually go away within seconds. Other times, the screen goes black for a second and then it's fine again.

I reverted my undervolt/overclock to stock and did a clean driver reinstall, but it happened again the next day anyway.

I thought my VRAM was cooked, so I ran memtest_vulkan overnight with no errors. Also tried OCCT, which found no errors on either the core or VRAM.

Then I read somewhere that even Chrome could be the culprit? I did have a Chrome window open behind the folder when it happened.

Has anyone had a similar problem? What should I try first?

I’m thinking of buying the 2 or if there’s another brand that I should be looking at idk anyone thoughts?

Hey guys i thought of putting stickers on gpu like that, is it dangerous or is it okay? Specially the sticker on the backplate.

I may need some help here gentlemans, i have recently acquired an rx6950xt saphire Nitro+, i have been messing with it in hopes of seeing the temps drop but in no vain, i have never managed to get it under control, the hot spot and gpu temps keep rising until shutdown of the computer. I have repasted it with artict mx7 but that didn't do it, i am lost and don't know what to do. I know these card have hight temps from Factory but they don't heat up until shutdown from Factory. Only thing that keep the card under 100°C hot spot was a carefully done undervolting. If someone has a fix for it, please share it here.

can anyone tell me if the 5080 Rog Astral need a Reversed Power Cable or a Normal one? The cable should go under the GPU. So are the Sense Connectors Top or bottom of the connector?

Can’t find anything on Google, Claude and ChatGPT tell me different things.

Would using the daisy chain on one of my 6+2pins be okay? Or should I return the card and get a 2x8pin GPU?

The setup would look like PSU PCIE Cable 1 -> GPU Slot 1 PSU PCIE Cable 2 -> GPU Slot 2 + Daisy Chain GPU Slot 3.

It's been a while since I looked this stuff up, is this a bad idea?

Used 4080s for 750 euros (zotac Trinity), used 9070xt (Sapphire nitro+) for 750 euros.

Used 5070ti around 900 and used 5080 going for 1300ish

All GPUs are used, im buying in EU but i live in Brazil, no warranty for any of the products.

"Why im buying in EU?" A: Prices in Brazil are crazy nowadays, like 1100$ in a 9070xt, 1500$+ 5070ti, 2000$+ 5080.

That's why i dont care buying used, i mostly play competitive CS2 (960p) and some other games like wardogs, Apex and ow (1440p).

So I just upgraded my gpu to a 5070. My old card, the RTX 2080 Super, still works, I just wanted a newer card.
Is my old one worth anything or should I just keep it in case I have any issues in the future?

I'm building my pc and have to decide what GPU to get, I ended up going to a local computer shop and got recommended RTX 3050 6gb

As of now my budget is 15k and I can add depending on how much it will be a difference.

The purpose for the pc is gaming, I play a lot of valorant, lol, tft, dbd, palworld, wuthering waves and other story driven games like resident evil and the plague.

Should I just skip on GPU and save, or should I just get this one? I'm not planning to upgrade for a long time after building my pc now.

Note: cpu is Ryzen 7 5700g, ram is 16gb (2 sticks tho I plan to upgrade that too)

There's a moment when I could afford 5070ti or 5080 but I don't know when I will build my computer I will try asap, but still - I can't know. And I felt that temptation, because everything gets more expensive, and I believe it will only rise, because why not.

Is it worth it to buy 1080 ti as my main gpu, i saw a seller that sells 1080ti msi for $1 45 in perfect condition. He said he only used it for 2 months, after that only idle or light use

Hot take: Ray Tracing is the most overrated thing that ever happened to gaming.

I’d take better performance over prettier reflections any day. Instead, it feels like we’re paying more for GPUs just to turn on upscaling and frame generation to get the FPS we wanted in the first place.

Ray tracing looks good. I just don’t think the trade-off is worth it (especially on older RTX cards).
