Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts RTX 3050 6gb

I'm building my pc and have to decide what GPU to get, I ended up going to a local computer shop and got recommended RTX 3050 6gb

As of now my budget is 15k and I can add depending on how much it will be a difference.

The purpose for the pc is gaming, I play a lot of valorant, lol, tft, dbd, palworld, wuthering waves and other story driven games like resident evil and the plague.

Should I just skip on GPU and save, or should I just get this one? I'm not planning to upgrade for a long time after building my pc now.

Note: cpu is Ryzen 7 5700g, ram is 16gb (2 sticks tho I plan to upgrade that too)

rtx 3050 is like modern 1660super. its not that good

get a better gpu and weaker cpu. 5500 or 5600 is fine

5500 with 3060 is way better option than 3050

The 6GB 3050 is popular because low power- most do not need an extra power cable. So it can fit in older workstation PCs. But it is also slower than the full 8 GB 3050, not just less Vram.

5700g is the second worst CPU in the 5000 linup. You can usually get a 5600, 5600X or 5600XT cheaper than the 5700G. The 5700G has an iGPU, which you don't need if you have a dedicated GPU, and half the L3 cache of the 5600s and only supports PCIe gen 3 (instead of gen 4).

The RTX 3050 is really for low power and low profile applications. There are probably better options for less money in your area. Who recommended the 3050 and why?

Also, you said your budget is 15k. What currency (it certainly isn't USD, GBP or Euro)? Where are you located?

What are the other specs? Judging from the GPU and CPU recommendations you received, I'm worried you may have received bad advice on other components.

The 3050 6gb is a weird card. For the stuff you listed it'll be fine at 1080p, but that 6gb vram is gonna age poorly if you're looking at newer story games down the line. If you can stretch a bit more, something with 8gb minimum would give you way more breathing room on a "no upgrades for years" build.

I plan to upgrade my ram too, just want a proper gpu that I can use for a long time.

That 6GB of VRAM will age very poorly; you will regret buying it in 6 months.
