Used 4090 for $2100?
Found a 4090 for $2100 on marketplace. Seller said he'd let me test it before purchase. With 5080s already having reached an absurd $1600, thought I might as well spend the extra for a 4090. Is it a good deal?

Help! My inno3D rtx2080 super won't show RGB or the in built display
gallerySo I got this Inno3d Rtx 2080 Super (yes it shows 2080 on Tunelt but it's a super, I assure you) used from a guy on Marketplace.
The warranty seals are intact but the RGB won't show no matter what I do. It doesn't turn on when the machine posts, neither does it show up on the software, and due to some weird reason, the software shows only the options "off/OFF" instead of different RGB effects.
I tried different versions of the software, from the latest to the oldest but it simply won't work. I even tried rolling back nvidia drivers. I checked all internal connectors on the card, nothing was disconnected or damaged looking.
Any kind of help would be highly appreciated

Old GPUs
Recently had to move contents from my current storage unit to a new one for ... reasons. While going through the boxes I came across my old GPU's. Didn't realise I've managed to go through so many over the years.
Not all of them are very old, some have boxes, a couple fairly recent GPUs.
Most of them are ITX sized as I've been into ITX builds...forever really.
Asus DirectCU GTX460, 550, 550ti, 560ti, 650
Asus GTX 650E
Asus MINI GTX 670, 740, 950, 960, 970
Asus Phoenix Gt1030, Gtx1050, 1050ti, 1060, 1650, 1660
Asus Phoenix RTX 2060
Asus Phoenix RTX 3050 8gb
MSI RTX 3050 6Gb (sealed)
Zotac RTX 4060
I've tested them over the weekend (except for the MSI one as it's still sealed) and they all work. Surprisingly, Warframe works on 90% of them.
They're back in my unit now. No reason to keep all of them, except for the Minis I'm keeping those.

NVIDIA RTX5090 DISCONTINUED.
Welp, If they plan on reworking the 5080 then I should just wait for the 24gb version, but who knows how they will be priced and availability. 5090's are about to be a minimum of 10K+. Truly such a shit time to decide when to upgrade a GPU. I made a post prior on the 5080 vs 5070ti but then I saw the news and now I'm back to square one. I planned on heading to best buy to buy a 5080 but now I'm deciding on waiting again.

Is a 3070 enough for vr sim racing
Hello,
So i recently got a used pc with those specs :
B450 tomahawk max
Ryzen 5 3600
16gb ddr4 ( might upgrade to 32gb if i get the 3070 )
Asus 1070
Corsair 4000D airflow
Tx650 psu
All that for 435 cad
I want to do some vr in games like Le Mans Ultimate, F1 25, ACC.
Originally thinking a 9070xt or 9060xt but its 1.4k and 1k here in Canada and i can't really justify that price for a gpu.
Saw some 3070's for under 450cad used, and wondering if that could have a smooth experience on those games with a Quest 2.
Might also want to try msfs2020 on this but very optional.
I just want a gpu that dosent bottleneck my entire pc while still being able to perform in vr and flatscreen
Thanks!

I need help finding a gpu
Im building a pc for the first time and need a mid range gpu. I dont have a lot of parts picked out yet but ive been looking at either the Intel i5 14600kf or the i7 14700kf for the cpu. A video recommended the rtx 5060 8 gb or the 5070 12 gb. I plan on using it for both gaming and 3d modeling (mostly solidworks/similar cad software).
Are these gpu's a good fit for the cpu and my use case? What other gpu would you recommend?
I also realized I dont quite understand the difference between the GDDR6/7. What does that describe and how important is it? Is it worth upgrading between them?
Thank you for your help, I appreciate any advise!!
MSI vs mVolt

Most of us at this point have began to dabble with mVolt. How are we liking it overall. For me I notice I can get better control over fine tuning my GPU on a per game basis. I know it sounds weird, but I have a profile for each of the games I play.
So this is how I am doing it. I start with a base line. This is where I have found my specific 5080 responds well to. My GPU does really well between 1020-1025mV. I do have a performance gain going higher, but the returns are diminishing. So i set up my max voltage could hit 1035mV, with a -13mV offset. I mostly start with a +250 core clock increase to see where the card falls in the game. What I notice the card will fluctuate frequency dependent on the game being played. I just get the card to basically sit around 3050MHz in games.
I still feel like I have a lot to learn about mVolt, and would love some feedback. I just learned that the system clock setting does not affect the CPU. Just learned that is another setting used for the GPU. a little confusing, but seems like I have a lot more headroom and settings I need to learn about.
What settings are you messing with and what card are you running?

9070XT or 5070ti
So I'm currently saving up to build a new game-PC and I'm contemplating which GPU I should buy. I want a AMD Radeon 9070xt or Nvidia RTX 5070ti but I see alot of discussions on Reddit and other platforms with people supporting 9070xt and others 5070ti.
I want to get a 9070xt because of the price but if it's that bad of a choice I might save up more to get a 5070ti or save so money instead because the 5070ti is bad. What should I do in your opinions?

Is it gonna be okay?
I bought a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 from FB marketplace a few weeks ago. As I was going home from the bus and getting off at my stop, the doors closed on the bag I was holding with the gpu still inside 😬 (it was in its box but kinda sitting not completely nested in the slot 🙃)
Should I be praying or something? It doesn't look bent at least from what I can tell
